  1. Elise Viebeck at TheHill:

The Obama administration is set to announce another major delay in implementing the Affordable Care Act, easing election pressure on Democrats.

As early as this week, according to two sources, the White House will announce a new directive allowing insurers to continue offering health plans that do not meet ObamaCare’s minimum coverage requirements.

Prolonging the ‘keep your plan’ fix will avoid another wave of health policy cancellations otherwise expected this fall..

Buy the bullshit now, pay later.

  2. “Lois Lerner: No, I Will Not Testify in Front of Congress About the IRS.”
Yeah, why should she have to testify? She was only the head of tax exempt groups at the IRS when they targeted conservative tax-exempt groups…

  3. Yes, LEEDS is a scam. It’s like registering for wedding gifts. It’s based on political BS, not energy efficiency.

The owner of this website (themoderatevoice.com) does not allow hotlinking to that resource (/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/145114_600.jpg).

  5. Just as the response says – it won’t accept hotlinks. Just copy the URL and paste it in your browser and it will work.

  6. I see Connie Fournier has just contributed more than $600 to FreeDominion’s legal defence. They are still far from their goal $25,000. Any small contributions welcome!

  7. Heard on the Dennis Miller radio show, a slogan for Obama suggested by a listener: ‘If You Like Your Ukraine, You Can Keep Your Ukraine’.

    “Ivan Ilyin”
“How is it that the president, a smart man, and his advisors, also smart, have been so wrong about Putin, the Iranian mullahs, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Syrian dictator, and others? Because they want to believe that the realist view where power and anarchy reign is wrong and that the idealist view of cooperation and international law is right. No amount of facts on the ground has dissuaded them of this belief until, one hopes, now.
Henry Kissinger famously notes that those powers that seek peace above all else are at the mercy of those powers that are willing to deny it to fulfill their interests.
Obama and his advisors, from grad school until now, have apparently seen the entire world as a single collection of nation-states just waiting to cooperate if the right people came into power in the United States to midwife it through dialogue and nice-making. Surely that belief has evaporated. It is time for the Obama administration to embrace reality and do what Putin did long ago and the rest of Russia’s reluctant neighbors are doing: Make two lists, one of your friends and the other of your enemies; support the first and torment the second. It might be distasteful to some, but it is the real world.”

  9. How is that like registering for wedding gifts? I thought registering for wedding gifts is useful?

  10. So, we have a poll showing the Conservatives and Liberals tied on who would best manage the economy?
C’mon people, put your brains in gear if it’s functioning at all!

“The story might have struck many as too implausible even for a B movie, but a U.S. district court today issued a remarkable opinion confirming that the judgment against Chevron is indeed the result of fraud.”
If this decision holds in a higher court it could be the end of the beginning. Tides is up to it’s armpits in this.

  12. RT stands for Rubbish Television. I give all things a hearing and decide for myself but that article is a ridiculous attempt at propaganda.

“With China’s economy operating under perverse incentives, China’s leaders, now assembled in Beijing, will be powerless to clean up its environment
China’s National People’s Congress — 3,000 delegates from across the country — meet in Beijing Wednesday, with the country’s crippling smog, which now looms as a threat to the leadership, high on the agenda.
To deal with smog in China’s big cities — so thick at times that bus drivers lose their way — desperate authorities have been throwing everything they can at the problem, from confiscating outdoor BBQs to threatening death sentences for polluters. But the measures, both logical and feckless, have utterly failed.”

  15. From a source equally as untrustworthy as RT, but with something a lot more plausible comes this:
    http://en.ria.ru/russia/20140305/188113312/Russia-Mulls-Seizing-Foreign-Assets-Over-Sanctions-Threat.html
Makes sense really. The Rooskies already simply steal the profits of western companies and then jail them if they complain. I honestly don’t think they will even wait for sanctions and do it anyway. But it is likely just poking Obama where it hurts.

  16. And you cite a youtube link as proof? Okie dokie. I remain unconvinced, but keep em coming. As I said a while back, politics is going to be making a lot of noise over the next while as everyone tries to benefit from the Ukrainian situation. Including Catherine Ashton, who is a Labour party hack, commie fellow traveller and eco-lunatic of long standing.
