DC District Judge Ellen Segal Huvelle yesterday ordered the Obama Administration to release a copy of an unclassified presidential directive, and she said the attempt to withhold it represented an improper exercise of “secret law.”
The Obama White House has a “limitless” view of its authority to withhold presidential communications from the public, she wrote, but that view is wrong.
“The government appears to adopt the cavalier attitude that the President should be permitted to convey orders throughout the Executive Branch without public oversight- to engage in what is in effect governance by ‘secret law’,” Judge Huvelle wrote in her December 17 opinion.
Well, he is a very special president, and he’s been clear about that right from the beginning.

I’ve always, from early 2008, called Obama “young Robert”. But Robert Mugabe has always

Polling that shows disappointment in or dissatisfaction in Obama’s performance is only just under 50% for a small minded looter and thug who can’t open his mouth without spewing lies, obfuscation, deceit, and demonizing of political adversaries.
You know what the text books call a government which conducts its business largely in secret and which has a large surveillance/security force deployed for domestic purposes? But you will be called a conspiracy nut/racist for suggesting this administration has strong fascistic tendencies – but that narrative is wearing thin with Americans who see a bleak economic future under American statist-socialism.
I find it worthy of note that Judge Huvelle was appointed to her current position by Bill Clinton. Claims that this is the action of “an extreme right-winger appointed by “, say, George W. Bush are not credible.
In Canada it is called “Orders in Council” and by definition are made public.
It is published in the Canada Gazette and there is an online database that is seartchable of all such orders.
Just google it.
Thus Americans should be demanding these things be made public.
