Bill Elliott, a cancer patient who lost his insurance thanks to ObamaCare and was unable to pay the new rates, appeared on Megyn Kelley’s Fox News show, telling her he was going to just pay the fine and “let nature take its course.”
C. Steven Tucker, an insurance broker out of Chicago, saw Bill Elliot on the show talking about getting bounced from his coverage because of the ACA mandates, stepped in and helped the man retain his coverage.
Well, Bill Elliott is being audited by the IRS, and now so is C. Steven Tucker.
It has only taken 300 years for America to become the very thing their forefather rebelled against.
Like most bureaucracies out there the staff is politicized and leans toward any party that will proclaim support for them. This is only an instance of over zealous workers trying to please the political masters. The proper answer to this is having the political appointed head of the department to crack down on the offenders and show that the system is to be fair. The problem is that the people that the current President has appointed come from his circle of friends and they have the same natural inclination to utilize the political institutions as blunt instruments. Chicagoland indeed.
I guess that this is their best option to deal with such dissent since the death panels have not yet been convened.

This is hardly an isolated case of politically targeted irs audits. And their is some evidence that they were ordered from within the White House. In Nixons time there were congressional hearings into the practice and hundreds of gallons of ink and hours of air time spent by the press reporting it.
Tax departments should always be funded minimally, otherwise they get too creative. The biggest disgrace in Canada Revenue Agency’s history was the effort spent about 25 or 30 years ago attacking amongst the poorest people in Canada, waitresses, trying to tax their tips. They had very poor success and even if they doubled waitresses income probably wouldn’t have generated as much money as taxing one Bronfman when he moved to the U.S. about that time.
With all the funding increases to C.R.A. recently they did it again but not on such a grand scale, chasing amongst the lowest income people in Canada for tips.
The only proper response is some military trials and firing squads.
Let it be said that not one American or Western citizen can ever genuinely or honestly say that they have “no idea how Hitler came to dominate and rule over the German peoples of the 1930’s”.

If any Republican president did even a fraction of what Obozo has done, the MSM would be howling for impeachment. Occam, unfortunately I suspect your prediction will come through but the bright side of the picture is the very large number of armed civilians as well as the presence of a substantial portion of the population with military experience. The latter is the group that Obozo considers to be “terrorists” and I suspect that when TSHTF, this group will be the nucleus around which citizen militias coalesce and put to use all of the techniques of asymmetrical warfare they learned in Afghanistan and Iraq. A second war of northern aggression will result in a radically different result given that the old Union states have disarmed and deindustrialized whereas industry has moved to the old Confederate states and the people of the South are firm believers in the second amendment. It would be a war of hoards of shrieking welfare queens waving Obamaphones against a heavily armed citizenry. The only way the Dumbocrats could win this war is if the working population ran out of ammunition before they ran out of welfare recipients.

My advise to C. Steven Tucker would be to move out of Chicago ASAP as the city tends to have a lot of murders that go unsolved. Tucker is pretty much living in a den of snakes. A few strings get pulled and you become fish food in Lake Michigan.
