  1. No, no….WaPo said it;s a victory for Kerry and Obama.
    Which is it?
Guess Israel will be this first to know for sure.

  2. So, they threw Israel to the wolves. Just like the “historic agreement” in Munich that threw Czechoslovakia to the wolves.
I always thought Obama wanted to ditch Israel. He has the typical low-brow, dimwitted black person’s animosity toward Jews — like Jeremiah Wright.
And he’s in office to bash his enemies and reward his friends — that’s his total idea of being President.
    What a moronic, puffed-up ignoramus!

  3. It is fitting that the Iranian Nuclear deal occurred on 11/23/2013.
11/23/2013 is the 30th Anniversary of the suicide bombing attacks on the US Marines and French troops in Lebanon. 241 Marines and 63 French soldiers died in the bombing attacks.
The bombers were believed to be Iranian sponsored Lebenese Shiites, and the predecessors to the Shiite Hezbollah organization.
IMO Hollande, Kerry, and Obama just spit on the graves of those 300. Larry is correct, this is Munich all over again.

  4. OK, now that he has fixed health care, the economy and Iran, maybe he can get back to fixing Syria.
Is there nothing he cannot do?

  5. Enjoy those of you who have lived the good years. Now comes the famine.
He has given the keys to fanatics that long for the end of this Period of history for a rein of terror. It may not be the end of this age, but the stage is being built for a LNW 1 (Limited Nuclear War).
Just as he has exterminated the balance of powers in the USA. Destroyed any privacy. Uses every agency for personnel gain & revenge. De-constructed the economy by the EPA.
Uses the TSA as a private police force to humiliate Americans.
Will use the health care system to break down this Nation even more.
Use the Army while purging it for Islamofacism.
These are deliberate acts by him along wroth his cronies.
The Muslim Dictator from America. Obama’s legacy:
Rev 6:2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse! And its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer.
Rev 6:3 When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!”
Rev 6:4 And out came another horse, bright red. Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people should slay one another, and he was given a great sword.
Rev 6:5 When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand.
Rev 6:6 And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, “A quart [fn] of wheat for a denarius, [fn] and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!”
Rev 6:7 When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!”
Rev 6:8 And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.

  6. Ah Yes !
Peace In Our Time, holding up V shaped fingers.
Will Obama receive another Nobel Peace Prize Medal,
or maybe it will be my River Rat Boating Buddy, John Kerry?
They might be humble enough to split it.

“Hey John, if its the real deal, its not Hallucinations.”
    just one more puff..
I sure hope Israel doesn’t mess with their ceremonies.

Can anyone out there say, ‘Nuclear Winter’ ?

  8. The nuclear inspectors doubtlessly will be Belgian.
I bet the mullahs are having a shot of vodka in celebration.

  9. The USA disengagement from the Sunni led alliance in the ME has been ongoing back perhaps to the Bush era. The USA found itself as a proxy army for Saudi foreign policy. The geo-political imperative was a greater focus on mutual interests with Iran. Iran has far greater ability to be a ME foil against the Russians simply by its physical location. Iran has never invaded its neighbours like most other Sunni led dictatorships. Even the Iranian nuclear program can be viewed as defensive in nature. International forces had no problem with Saddam invading Iran and had no international tribunals about the use of gas in that war. I have zero sympathy for those ME countries who support Sunni based radical Islam. IMHO the USA is jumping from a sinking ship. The importance of ME oil production is being minimalized and modern warfare has eclipsed the need for manpower which is all that Egypt has to offer.
Nuclear deterrence exists in the ME. Israel has a nuclear defense and all Arab countries know that. MAD exists and the Iranians have always been pragmatic. The military option in the ME has been tactical for some time. My curiosity is about what bone has been thrown to Hezbollah? Israel has been a straw dog used by ME dictatorships to deflect review of their own governments. It appears that Iran might be looking at another direction.

  10. Somewhere the ghost of Neville Chamberlain is warning us that a peace treaty with a genocidal tyranny is just a piece of inked up paper. Don’t consider it a victory, consider it a delay in the inevitable.

  11. Nuclear war in the middle east is now a certainty. I’ll bet that the Israelis are fine-tuning their plans for a pre-emptive strike and the Saudis are saying to the Pakistan government “You remember all the billions we gave you for nuclear research? Well we want something in return…”
    Worst President ever.

  12. Excerpt from the hit song during Carters Iran crisis:
….Me and my crew, still have much to do.
Think I’ll bomb Iran; distract from scandals anew.
    Let’s bomb Iran…
(Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran…)
(Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran…)
With Shock and Awe, they will be reelin’.
    More oil, we’ll be stealin’.
Bomb, bomb, bomb! Bomb, bomb Iran!

  13. With his legacy health care plan unraveling before his eyes, Barry desperately needed something he and his water-carriers in the US media could spin as a success. This is it. With any luck he will be gone from the White House before the you-know-what hits the fan.

  14. To paraphrase Neville Chamberlain:
My good friends, for the first time in our history, an American President has returned from Iran bringing peace with honour. I believe it is radionuclides for our time. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Go home and get a nice quiet sleep.

  15. Two things are worth noting:
    1. A majority of House Democrats are opposed to this agreement.
    2. Not one single ME nation has endorsed this agreement.
The latter is particularly important. Is Saudi Arabia going to be content with an Iran with recognized and permitted nuclear weapons infrastructure? Hardly. So SA has one of two choices: 1. sign a mutual defense pact with Israel (utterly unthinkable) or 2. start developing their own capability. So far from stemming the tide of nuclear weapons in the ME this is likely to expand it.
Now who ran the negotiations for the US? Valerie Jarrett. Does she have any significant foreign affairs experience or nuclear non-proliferation experience? Not a shred. Chicago municipal politics and real estate do not make for a nuclear weapons negotiator. This was all about a US administration desperate to change the channel from a collapsing domestic agenda.

  16. If not for the ‘negotiations’, Israel would have already attacked Iranian enrichment sites.
Now the stalling is over and Israel can point to the failures of the new ‘agreement’, no reason to delay striking Iran.

  17. Wow,
I think the push to close a deal with Iran came from the pressure Obama is under to establish ANY positive legacy of his presidency.
Where I wasn’t opposed to the effort to jaw-jaw, I will concede to the opinion of those in the line of fire…..Israel. As Baird put it, Iran has far from earned the world’s trust.
This string of incompetence we have witnessed from Obama is what happens when a political party chooses a leader based solely on his marketability.

  18. A spokesman for the Iranian government later said: “Iran has no further ambitions in the Middle East.” (satire)
Iran will seek nuclear weapons as long as Israel has them. Israel will not disarm anytime soon. Even when Iran develops/possesses nuclear weapons, they will be deterred by Israel – who will obliterate Iran upon any nuclear attack – unfortunately triggering a possible world war, and to a somewhat lesser degree their patron state, China.
IOW this is all show, just like Munich was in 38. That doesn’t necessarily mean disaster; we will see. Pakistan is a far more dangerous nuclear threat. Both though have the potential to put nuclear weapons in the hands of terrorists, who can’t be deterred. That is the real danger.

  19. Shamrock;
Isn’t it the nature of those that rule to mine the weaknesses of the masses to their advantage. Even Israel does this to an extent as the omnipresent Arab threat allows liberties to be minimalized. Unfortunately ME Sunni based countries have used radical Islam as a tool to propagate their continued existence. Eliminating Israel has been a convenient goal for so many. Yes, the freedom fighters in Syria, yes the very same cannibals who devour their fellow country men in the name of religion. In recent years the elimination of all infidels has become the clarion call from Mecca. Your fears about Pakistan are well founded IMO.
Does nuclear deterrence work in the ME? It appears too. Yes Hezbollah and Hamas have continued their border attacks but Syria and Egypt have not attacked for decades. If the realization exists that Israel would use nuclear retaliation if faced with armageddon then why would the Iranians not do also. Perhaps the Iranians feel more threatened by the Sunni dominated alliance arrayed against them headed by Saudi Arabia.
Israel does have reason to fear that element in their region who use ignorance and religious fever as a scapegoat against them. It happened in Europe not 70 years ago. Israel has never depended on the USA as a guarantor of their survival. A ally yes. Not only does the Israelis have nuclear bombs but I suspect also tactical nuclear artillery shells. Their use would be failsafe warning to would be attackers that a line was being crossed.
Israel cannot publically embrace an American nuclear agreement with Iran. On the otherhand the USA cannot continue to support those countries that aid radical Islam and their long term objectives.

  20. CT, I have no problem with Israel possessing nuclear weapons. They have since at least the mid 80s and yes, have a full arsenal of weapons. When you are faced with a genocidal threat, nuclear weapons are a very effective deterrent, so they have no intention of bargaining this away. The Iranians IMO have made a cost free bargain; they have conned the world particularly the US and Europe, and have no intention of giving up their nuclear ambitions. They are deterred though IMO.

  21. Not only has obama been the worst president ever; worse than Van Buren, Carter, LB Johnson, but he has even taken on the worwseness of Neville Chamberlin, Marshal Petain, and Quisling. Is there no standard that obama can surpass? Oh well, here comes peace in our time. Duck and Cover. By the way, not touting my blog, but I deliberately included the necessary information for surviving a nuclear war, Army Stuff. Not medical, not bug out prep. But you have to go back a couple of years for the genuine stuff you need to know, when the government has failed to protect you from fuzzy wuzzy.
I would make copies of the four posts and put them in the back of your dresser drawer or in your bug out kit, if you are of that ilk. Also, the “geiger counters” and survey meters used industrially are of little use. You need an instrument with an ionization chamber and window.
By the way, this captcha stinks. I had to submit 4 times.

  22. No one should need any further proof that an incredibly naive simpleton is the current occupant of the White House. Such stupidity harks back to the days of Chamberlain as some here have already noted.

  23. “Can anyone out there say, ‘Nuclear Winter’ ?”
This is just obama’s (PBHN) answer to global warming. Now he won’t need to spend his carbon tax slush fund on anything but getting dhimocrapt idiots elected.
By the way, the nuclear information is in the 2011 tab on the previous post.

  24. Other than Israel’s bombing of Iraqi and Syrian reactors, has ANY country that wanted nuclear weapons ever been prevented from getting them? I can’t think of any case where non-military non-proliferation has worked.

  25. Munich 1938 says it all, but Israel is not Czechoslovakia. Never again.
Revnant Dream, it does seem so, but we know who will win in the end even if there is a lot of pain felt by many in the interim.
cgh, it does make one wonder how he can ignore the American people, run roughshod over his party and ram through Alinsky’s agenda. I suspect that Jarret is the real president.

  26. So, where’s the photo of our beaming John Kerry as he steps off the plane waving the signed treaty?
It’d be interesting to compare it with that old picture of Neville Chamberlain.
(hmmmm. tried to include link to BBC archive, but captcha swears I’ve entered its text/ verification wrong. now trying without hyperlink…)
    – – – – –
Amazing, isn’t it? … that not one of the bumblefarks in Obama’s (mal-)administration has the tiniest clue that this has all been done before, and that it ends very, VERY badly….
    God help us.

  27. Verrry interesting; when I deleted the embedded link, captcha decided I was human, after all…

  28. Shamrock;
I agree that it would be better for Iran not to have nuclear bombs. But cannot that be said as well about Pakistan? No economic sanctions against Pakistan, a state that one could argue is more unstable than Iran. A state that has also played nuclear roulette with India over the decades.
IMO the threat to Iran over the years has probably made their nuclear program a national security issue for them. 2 million dead fighting Saddam does that. That does not mean I trust them any more than I do the Saudis. MADD does exist in the ME and that is probably the best that can be hoped for. I am certainly not prepared to see more Canadian soldiers killed carrying out Saudi Arabia’s foreign policy ambitions.

  29. “(Saudi Arabia) has one of two choices: 1. sign a mutual defense pact with Israel (utterly unthinkable) or 2. start developing their own capability.”
They have a third option too. Buy nukes from Pakistan. (Back in 1969, a Libyan Colonel travelled to Peking wanting to buy nuclear weapons. The ageing rulers of China had a difficult time explaining to the young man that nuclear weapons were not for sale. However, the cash strapped Pakistanis may not be able to refuse a juicy offer from their Saudi paymasters.)
Pakistan’s former Prime Minister, the Harvard ‘educated’ Benazir Bhutto said Pakistan did not sell nuclear technology to foreign countries since the price offered wasn’t high enough!

  30. Nuclear weapons don’t kill people. Shi’ite mullahs in Iran kill people.
    Three words. Regime. Change. Iran.
Faster please, as Michael Ledeen says.

  31. CT, yes agreed. Fortunately, India deters Pakistan. Again, the real problem is terrorists who can’t be deterred getting nuclear weapons or material.
Canada could be a big help here by offering its Candu reactors (I understand incapable of producing weapons grade plutonium – OK-sarc) since Iran has been so inept with their own program, which they began in the 70s under the Shah to facilitate more oil exports.
IOW their claim to be pursuing nuclear power only continues to be BS.
