  1. No. You could say the same thing vis a vis Toronto and the ROOn or St. John’s and the RONL or the lower mainland and the ROBC. They are all rural/conservative vs urban/cosmopolitan.

  2. the bill should have specifically targeted the muslim head coverings that would be sweet and simple just like france did!

  3. If this fragments the voters too much, the PQ will never win a referendum to break away from the rest of Canada and we will be stuck with these tax sucking loons forever. If they would have stuck to turfing out Muslims there would have been wide spread support, but oooohh no, they had to be politically correct and include the established religions that are ingrained into the social and historical fabric. Every time I feel politicians can’t get any dumber, they keep proving me wrong.

  4. Don’t care. Shut up and cut my taxes, frigging socialist vampires.
Oh, and I want to see the new Quebec Hat Police make all the Sikh doctors in Montreal take off their turbans. I’m going to make a big ol’ bowl of popcorn for that show, you betcha.

  5. CTV driving the story. Ordinarily most Canadians could not give a care one way or the other. This is until someone tells them ” what Canadians want”. Irrespective of whether one is indignant toward the machinations of Quebec and it’s manipulative politics, one thing stands out.
How little do the likes of CTV and CBC coupled with the Canadian press, care about the assaults on the Christian religion? They have generally kept very quiet on the likes of the judiciary and
it’s punitive decisions against practicing Christians.
Now it is different story. They are waiting for their plaudits, from those who have the utmost contempt for things Canadian.
    They do not fool everyone!
