Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

You are going to do to yourselves what we did here in the US. I feel sorry for you.
“Do I look like someone who smokes dope” Steven Harper. People, Justy here is clearly someone who not only smokes dope, he has also absorbed it into every corner of his vapid character, kind of like a whiter Obombya, not someone who understands business like Steven Harper does, and who would you like running your company/country, easy choice.
Consolidating the lpc as a one issue party.
Lord Foppington, a rich empty vessel who has accomplished
exactly nothing during his indolent sojourn on this planet,
thinks calling accomplished people names is the way to success.
Keep it up, Shiny Pony, you are definitely on the right track.
But be careful, you never know when Red Star will send out someone
to try and catch you drawing hard on a gagger.
I’m ambivalent on the issue of mj legalization. It’s particularly important to keep it out of the hands of the young because of several of its adverse effects in some people particularly those with developing brains. Wether legalization/licensed distribution would make that easier or harder is an open question. And my observation over time is that adults who chose to self-destruct, will self destruct no matter what anyone else does to try to prevent it. One can offer rehab programs for addicts of all stripes. Ultimately it’s the addict who has to want to be rehabilitated.
That being said, the ability to stand on one leg does not translate into the ability to deliver the ultimate in “social programs”: jobs.
We already did it with this vacuous brat’s father. He will make the Prime Minstership a hereditary position.
Hes gone from shiny pony to one trick pony
Curious..
Stopped at the border and not allowed to cross after merely admitting to drug use?
That’s gonna be a tough one on our ChoomDude in Chief….
… Then, he’s got the horsepower to just fly right over the border. Any border he wants.
Even Syria’s.
Gawd what a friggen embarassment to Canada, and he’s not even an anybody, just a parody and threat that he might be one day.
JT is a biological weapon used on Canadians by the Left, Islam, and any other radical or special intrest group that wishes real Canadians harm.
Obviously, you’ve never heard of this lightweight’s father.
Campaigning as your student body president; Justin stops in at the yoga club.
Well, this confirms it! Justin’s gonna be PM in 2015, or sooner if they hold an election earlier, before all the people that remember his Daddy are awake.
I hope he wiped off anything sticking to the sole of his shoe before he put it against his pant leg.
And please, cut out the “crossing the border” remarks, the Yankees are as hypocritical about drugs as they are about everything else.Justin will be welcomed to the U.S. with open arms when he’s PM.
I disagree with pretty much everything that Liberals worship but JT is absolutely correct about pot. The war against pot has completely failed. Treat it like alcohol and transfer the money wasted on police, courts and prisons to treatment program for addicts (which are a small minority of users). Pot may not be healthy but adults can decide for themselves. Minors will obtain pot like they do alcohol but pot prohibition needlessly criminalizes a relatively harmless indiscretion. Talk to bouncers and you might discover that drunks are far more difficult to handle than a person high on pot – aggressive and uncoordinated vs goofy and slightly paranoid.
And here we thought the Shiny Pony had only one trick. Looks like he’s now got two.
Really Eastern Canada? You think this guy could run a country? I wouldn’t let him teach my kids drama.
Liberal leader Justin Trudeau, in this photo, is practicing what Liberal leaders are famous for… stretching credibility.
From that Sun News link:
“Immigration experts say admitting to drug use is grounds to be turned away at the border.
‘I think that highlights the absurdity of the existing laws,’ Trudeau said in an interview on CTV’s Question Period that aired Sunday.”
Am I missing something here? The Sun News item isn’t clear. Which country are the “immigration experts” referring to? Canada or the US?
If the former, Trudeau cannot be refused entry to Canada at the border whatever the reason: he is a Canadian citizen.
If the latter, American “existing laws” are completely outside Dear Justin’s purview. It’s up to Americans, not celebrity foreigners like Trudeau, to determine just who is or who is not permitted to enter the US.
Hey, let’s give Turdo la Doo credit – he’s finally getting close to doing something useful. Just spray paint the little dink pink and perch him on lawns at birthday parties.
Don’t get excited. Perhaps he is showing vulnerability a bit early in the game, however admission of smoking marihuana is a calculated move. Remember two things: elections are won by popular mandate and the leaders are as strong as people that surrounds them. On the other hand, Harper is going along with a weaker and weaker personalities. It may be uncomfortable thought, but don’t count out JT as a PM. He may be standing on one leg now, yet that’s the way he rebuilds trust – the one that Liberals lost with Adscam.
And let’s not forget the possibility that Justin takes 10-15 seats more than Count Ignatieff did and forms a coalition government with the NDP. This seems to be a huge blind spot with many conservatives.
If Justine were to win the next election it would be as a minority government. Theres no way they could make up the seats to pass the current government and the opposition to make up a majority. So if he had a minority government I believe it would only be a matter of time before his party would start stealing again, or start raising taxes to unbeleievable levels, and then we would have another election called. At that point I doubt he would survive another election with a minority once the voters are reminded of how corrupt and evil the liberals really are.
He’s following in his father’s footstep. He’s equally dullarly on economics, equating it with justice, but he simply lacks the panache of his father, who was able to carry it off with a hopeful and unwary public, against weak opposition. He doesn’t get to walk into the PMO uncontested as his father did and faces a formidable foe in Stephen Harper who has the left caught between hysteria, fear and loathing, pining for his eventual, hopefully soon, I heard a rumour, resignation.
I hear Mulcair and the NDP want to run attack ads against JT, calling him “Harper-light.” Yes, focus on Harper – that worked last time. Mr Mulcair, might I suggest you call them the “Bobbsey Twins of Bay Street.” Oh right, that`s already been used.
A new post is needed to get rid of those weirdos, or just delete photo. Pretty please!
…so what’s the problem? Trudeau is completely right about Harper. Banging on this issue isn’t doing Trudeau any harm that’s for sure.
And Harper is completely right about Trudeau. And?
So in other words, he is preaching to a choir. Like that hasn’t happened before.
As in the US, the Canadian media are friends of the Liberals. The only thing missing here is the Hollywood crowd so the media have made a star out of the Liberal leader.
Forget policy, not important, looks and charisma will do the trick as the country goes to hell in a Liberal red wagon and it may even be loaded with pot.
Yup! Gay!
Anyone who thinks Canada can actually completely legalize pot without suffering serious ramifications at the US border is suffering from .. well, smoking too much pot. The United States has to date shown effectively zero interest in even decriminalizing pot at the federal level, never mind full legalization, and the feds control the borders.
I think it’s pretty clear from Pony’s dismissive answer about issues at the border that he’s never thought the whole thing through. Utterly unfit for office! We will have so many stupid, embarrassing moments with this nitwit leading the country that we’ll friggin’ lose count.
“I hope he wiped off anything sticking to (his pant leg) before he put it against (the sole of his shoe).”
That’s better; no?
frankly Im surprised the shoe isnt turned the other way and jammed up about 6 inches higher
his shoe is clean, he just extracted it from his mouth, well, almost clean then!!
LPC(Lolly-pop Party of Canada)Hippy in Chief. He can’t be serious, with all this humming bird crap he is doing.
The f|_|cking idiot may just get elected because there are so many stupid voters. Canada’s Obama. The people manipulating him are the globalists here in Canada, the Liberal Party Old Boys, the Demarais from Power Corps, and their criminals, er I mean cohorts at the UN.
These people are dangerous and will not act in the interests of Canadians. Watch for Shiny Pony Phones at a store near you soon.
If JT smoked a joint, or two and thinks we should legalize it, then he should be against any restrictions on smoking a milder narcatic….tobacco in a public place, park, 5 meters froma doorway, in a pub, restaurant, sports facility or in his damned car with kids present. Right? Ask him that question.
The Conservative Party doesn’t need to make attack ads, JT is doing all the work for them.
If pot is ever legalised, it needs to be so with the caveat that the self-inflicted stupidity will not be justification for disability. Already in Ontario, if you stay drunk, the taxpayer pays–and this never ends. No consequences, no forced treatment, just self-inflicted disability.
So who’s going to pay for a generation of stupid?
The sad part is that, based on David Colleto’s poll on Sun News today and on other polls, this pot thing has not changed his favorable poll ratings, and would probably pull of a minority or even a majority if a vote was held.
It appears that most people in Canada want a glitzy know nothing actor. Think about what was elected twice below the 49th.
Real adults are considered with things like Syria. What is Justin Trudeau concerned with? Pot. How the hell can this guy ever be taken seriously? Just… how?
The fact that an issue like the legalization of marijuana could merit so much attention in this country confirms what a cossetted little world Canadians live in.
Mordecai Richler – one more time:
“The truth is Canada is a cloud-cuckoo-land, an insufferably rich country governed by idiots, its self-made problems offering comic relief to the ills of the real world out there, where famine and racial strife and vandals in office are the unhappy rule.”
(from “Barney’s Version”)
I have nothing witty or interesting to add. I just want to say That was hilarious. If you’re not already doing the comedic circuit, maybe you should think about trying it.
Nah, I think I’ll keep the day job.
Besides, with Justin the lines just kind of write themselves.
