Back America has been consumed by a toxic culture designed to keep it stupid, compliant and available for exploitation at the snap of the media’s fingers. MLK was only important to both black and white classic liberals who are now no longer part of the culture industry or power structure.
They didn’t show up because they were all out looking for jobs or thinking about looking for work or cashing welfare cheques or food stamps or watching reruns of Oprah or or or too many important things to do than show respect for the REAL KING.
It wasn’t!
There was next to NO COVERAGE MSM of the Beck event.
Saw a picture of Obama in front of the Lincoln statue. A moral midget in front of a moral giant. Unfortunately the moral giant is no more.
Even democrats are ashamed to show their faces.
Obama has become a World joke.
Wonder what his third term will be like when he jettisons that amendment as well?
To be fair I don’t think beck could pull that crowd today. I sense a real john galt mood on the part of many on the right and a lot of disillusionment and disinterest on the left.
I’d be fascinated to know how many tons of garbage were cleaned out of the park after each event. Beck had much the larger crowd, my money says he had a lot fewer garbage trucks loaded the next day. Like half or less.
Tell you what else, I bet those comparison pictures are -really- hacking Barry off. He can’t draw a bigger crowd than Glen Beck? That’s got to be sticking in his craw like a fish hook. Yay!

MLK is highly overrated, largely glorified because of never ending guilt by present day Americans for problems past and present that they had and have nothing to do with.
Guilt is a powerful weapon. It can make a man who cheated to get his degree a hero, and it can make people so blind they will reelect a dangerous fool like Obama.
Beck would be divisive and would never have the appeal required to bring the country together or win a majority vote. Like the Tea party, his primary support comes from the right and he has little tolerance for much of what the socialists hold dear. Like Rush Limbough, the left already hates him. He also speaks his mind and and that is a death knell for any potential candidate. I’m sure his followers voted Romney just as Sharpton’s followers voted Obama but they were still the minority.
He also liked hookers, something I find a tad unpleasant in a Baptist minister. The FBI was tapping him, of course; it’s widely believed that he got violent with the girls on at least one occasion.
When you have the MSM in your hip pocket – who needs a crowd?
