Glenn Reynolds: “… it makes a good excuse to run this Andrew Breitbart video from the first phase of the Weiner scandal. Since then, of course, the NYT, People, and other house organs pronounced Weiner rehabilitated. They look just about as credible as they did when Andrew was talking about them.”

When thinking about how low the bar is set, in terms of character, a progressive is capable of public acceptance and forgiveness for any number of sins that would destroy the possibility of a conservative running for office. This is an excellent test of how servile the New York populace is to those that have pimped them for so long. When an admitted liar and pervert top the polls, that culture has been hollowed-out and that society has little time left until inevitable and well deserved collapse.
there once was a perv called Danger
who sent his face to a stranger
alas media cried
and nearly died
for it looked like a dog in a manger
Even a thin skinned weiner has to be a improvement over nanny Bloomberg. He would be so busy sexting that the city might even retrieve some of the freedoms lost under the present mayor. When he stands for something there are always photos to go with it and I would vote for him on entertainment value alone. One track mind and predictable is better than one track mind and unpredictable like Bloomberg. Bloomberg loves power and control while Weiner loves his reflection in the mirror. His campaign slogan really should be “a Weiner in the hand is better than a Bloomberg in your bush”. The young female voters will understand. Hope he wins because it’s the best that NY can hope for.
…a thin skinned (small w) weiner. ewwwww… unless we’re talking about putting a Hebrew National up for office…errr, never-mind
Interesting choice, but given that humus is a spy I will disagree.
People get the leaders they deserve. If New Yorkers turn out to vote for this pathetic excuse for a man just because he has a (D) after his name, we will see just what kind of character remains in the Big Apple – namely, none.
New York….the next Deeetroit?????
Weiner in an other age. Would have been ridiculed as one of those people who exposed themselves on street corners. Considered mentally criminal.
Today he’s an icon of the age of exhibition moral rot.
He sure does love his woody though.
Thanks for that I had forgotten how pathetic all the press were with that whole episode. They just assumed Breitbart was manufacturing the story because they do it so often themselves.
