Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Re: Video–man stuck in mud.
That proves right there that Jesus could not have walked on water!!
Me smells a set-up…
Remember, don’t try this at home.
After watching it again, I agree.
The guy was in no obvious distress and his release of the tooth was way too easy. But, they hit the bigtime in their little circle.
Skillful hoe operator though.
Doze Crayzee Russsians!
OOOOO,,,trust me I’m an engineer……
The ruskies may be crude at times but using the guys grip as a force limiter prevented ripping the guy in 2.
When I saw him dig on each side….I didn’t really think it would relieve the tension enough…and anticipated the final move…..even then there musta been a lotta pressure on the trapped guy’s legs.
I can believe he was well and truly stuck. When I was young, a friend and I got stuck in mud. We yelled to various grown ups for help but they all thought we were kidding around. Finally, a neighbor realized we were actually stuck and used paint cans and boards to create a boardwalk to pull us out. It was fun getting into the mud, but pretty frightening when we realized we couldn’t get out.
Agreed. If he was in true danger and I was on the hoe, 1 scoop…the boys were just having some fun.
The other day, when it was all over the news that highs of 120 F were expected in Vegas and 130 F in Death Valley, there came a news story (little reported) that two men were rescued from a hike they had taken in Furnace Creek, in Death Valley.
Not everyone is particularly bright. Somewhere in the combination of “Furnace Creek, Death Valley, hottest weather in a hundred years” is a very good rationale for not hiking. Mind you, it does cool down to about 97 F at night.
Crazie poctza, get doze robber cowboy boots off.
So… Elbonia is real?
