I have never given too much thought about abortion but third trimester abortions are illegal even most places that use routine abortion as birth control. I have a hard time distinguishing one viable baby from another depending on whether it is in or out of a uterus. Killing a baby that would live were its brains not sucked out is criminally distasteful and my libertarian side would have no objections to making it illegal. Apparently we cannot even discuss the matter in Canada.

rocky, and it is close minded ppl like you that is the problem. I am pro-choice, but basically against abortions. As to when life starts, that’s subjective. Even god allows free choice, which includes the right to make the “wrong” choice, isn’t that how the bible teaches that sin began????
I feel that many of these abortions are by ppl who know enough as to how not to get pregnant, so they should prevent pregnancy. Health reasons and rape would qualify in my books as a good reason for some one to choose to terminate a pregnancy, and that should be done as soon as possible, tho health reasons can arise at any time.
And please do NOT ask me to pay for your stupidity, pay for it yourself. The gov’t should only pay for the health reasons and rape cases
