Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Aberrant ABC’s.
This is why I often like to have discussions with my daughter about her classes. This way I can help deprogram her when her leftist douchebag teachers fill her head with $hit like global warming and social justice. She will be a good conservative when she grows up as her BS detector will be finely tuned.
Soon to be in the curriculum in your province.
A grade one teacher like that makes me want to puke.
Stick a fork in this province we are pretty much done….. so glad my kids are almost done with what they call “education” today , and feel very sorry for those just bringing young ones into the world – good luck. If you expect your kids to grow into strong wise individuals it looks as though your on your own unfortunately.
It doesn’t take a university degree to figure out this kind of progressive hogwash along with a sickening apathy is what helped bring down this province so quickly.
As I said yesterday, this is naught but the “theft of our kid’s educations” as something will obviously be eliminated in lieu of. I recommend math.
That said, if they wanted to make a positive impact regarding gender studies, they’d make Shop mandatory for boys and Home Ec. mandatory for girls.
“It doesn’t take a university degree to figure out this kind of progressive hogwash along with a sickening apathy is what helped bring down this province so quickly.”
Plus the latte sipping useful idjits of the GTA and Dilduh McDinky. Lots of blame to go around Morontario.
… as there is nothing worse that b1thes that can’t cook, and f@gs that can’t fix things.
Agree with the headline – but the correct term is “security barrier!”
Kate-
All this is systems thinking. Change the student by changing the environment they are embedded in–the school. Hence all the references to a Positive School Climate and identity mapping. Race, gender, sexuality, nationality are all identities. It is based on something called Bronfenbrenner Ecological Systems Thinking but Urie was kind enough to admit it was a metaphor. In the classroom it becomes a way of altering values, attitudes, and beliefs. Which then drive future behavior from an unconscious level.
Going on all over the world. Coming out of UNESCO and to some extent the OECD and World Bank with various large companies tagging a long trying to use political influence to protect their existing markets. See there Schumpeter.
And Ontario is a Ground Zero.
Come on, do something about that. Are you only capable of blogging things? Then you can just shut up as well, as commies are immune to reasoning.
I don’t care – not really Canadian, and homeschooling as well.
But math is hard! And if ya can’t learn math you probably can’t use your naughty parts properly either! LOL LOL LOL
Screw the wall, the zombies are getting into other provinces and smuggling their stupidity in with them. I say we nuke Morontario FORWARD into the Stone Age…
And in spite of this and all else, Hudak will still lose the next election.
I’d like to see a parental group sue her and her administration, the truth is gender identity disorders are mental health illness not actual legal genders. It’s about time the BLT crowd were forced to stop spreading their work of fiction, seven fake genders, to children as the truth.
454guy – what do you suggest? Lots of talk from you guys always.
@Kate: Hey, there are lots of us in Ontario that want a steel wall placed up around Toronto! Look at the riding results!
Personally I don’t give a damn about whether someone is gay or whatever, who they marry and what they want to do. As far as I am concerned the government shouldn’t be issuing marriage licenses either.
Teach people to be cool to one another at school. To believe in freedom of speech, enjoy property, life and liberty. Classic values that mean something. Why focus it on only one special group? We should be teaching kids to be good to everyone, race, gender, religion, mental challenge, physical challenge etc.
But seriously. School coursework could do with a serious mandatory education in Economics. If people really understood the massive deficits we’re running, and that all this crap they get from the government isn’t free maybe there’d be more informed voters.
On behalf of the government of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea,I must protest the comparison of our departed Dear Leader to this woman!
I suggest you remember we have nukes.
I guess the more naive voters of Ontario, who figured the Province was about to get a more fiscally prudent person in charge, have just had a bit of a shock.
Who says any of us were shocked?
Well, you can call me different if you want, but the last time I checked, Stephen Harper (who’s supposed to be from, er, Calgary, but who’s actually from Toronto) got 73 seats out of Ontario, as opposed to the 72 seats he got out of, you know, Western Canada, and all that. And, with rounding errors, I’m pretty certain that he got 2.6 million votes here (plus or minus the 9 votes that were supposedly swayed, hither and yon, by the alleged “robo-call” “scandal”), close to, um, 50 per cent of the votes he got in the whole country.
The Liberal Party in Ontario (or whatever quirky name they give themselves these days) is going to come up a bit small this time around: they’ll be third, with certainty (no guarantee of any seats, whatsoever), in the May or June election which is sure to come, assuming that they actually agree to, you know, meet parliament. It’s up to Tim now — please get on with, sir.
I’m not so sure, yet, that we need any stinking apartheid fence.
She’s doing it for one reason: she knows there won’t be meaningful opposition from any quarter.
The teachers will stay quiet because she’s having ‘ongoing discussions’ with them right now…she’ll cave on some of McGuinty’s legslation if they stay quiet like good little children about this.
Parents won’t do anything because…well, becuse they’re just average spineless Canadians.
The Roman Catholic Board? It might huff and puff a bit, but it won’t do anything brave such as suggesting that parents should consider supporting parties that don’t support Wynne’s nonsense.
The opposition in Queen’s Park? Horvath pobably thinks progressive education like this is long overdue, and by the time Hudak works out a sufficiently neutral response that isn’t likely to inflame the Toronto press, Wynne will have won the next election.
GOTV. It could be as simple as that. I really don’t think that a majority of Ontarians agree with this. As mentioned before, something will have to be eliminated. Get the Left to identify early what it is. We know it can’t be wrestling because the IOC already cut that. I sincerely hope that Hudak grows a pair on this issue.
@ David,
Like I said. The fence she wants should be around Toronto.
Lots of people living outside Toronto feel differently about the way things are going and were annoyed the last few times to see the usual uninformed voters bringing back McGuinty after I dunno how many screwups.
However when you are outnumbered by the Moochers, well – let that be a lesson to you all in Alberta and Sask.
This is vile.
Ms Smiley Face Wynne isn’t funny. She’s scary as hell.
A wall the length of the Ontario border? An excellent idea. That would havel kept the Socialist filth – the CCF (NDP), the Alberta Red Rat, the BC flowerchildren, not to mention the Diefenb****r, from infesting Central Canada and the East.
Just build the fence around Toronto and suburbs. Cheaper and you’ll still catch 99% of them.
I foresee fisticuffs if this nonsense gets implemented at our local school. Farmers, y’know. Not real big on the “Jenny has two mommies” thing in school.
Gender role/identity revisionism is officially sanctioned moral confusion. The nanny state is allowing every neurotic axe-grinding quack access to your children. In a civil society this would qualify as child abuse – but in the soviet pathocracy of morontario, this is now seen as progress.
In current dysfunctional Ontario, police arrest victims and criminalize the innocent, society’s least moral people indoctrinate your children, the economy/treasury has been pillaged by kleptocrats and rapacious unions, property deeds are meaningless, the rule of law is inverted and democracy is just a buzz word morontario media uses to herd the sheep deeper into tax/dependency slavery.
Why does anyone with any self-worth live in that social/political cesspool? – and NO, it can’t be fixed by changing the brand of klepto- government in TO for 4 years. Ontario is politically, civilly, ethically and economically atrophied and it has been a process endorsed by all parties over decades of incremental degeneration. There is no political solution to the problem of politically empowering the takers, users and abusers. Systemic reform of a political jurisdiction this dysfunctional must come from the electorate – that starts with an individual epiphany – the makers need to escape the mental prison media, educrats, klepto-unionists and the ruling dysfunctional elite have constructed for them – critical reasoning needs to replace indoctrinated self-abasing reflex. I don’t expect to see Ontario escape its cycle of self destruction anytime soon.
As Peter Finch said in Network – I don’t have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows at some level things are not as they should be. Nothing will change until you do. You have to get up off the couch, but first you have to get mad, you have to say “my life and property have worth, I demand to be treated like a human being, not some unimportant tax slave. I deserve better than this, I’m sick and tired and I’m not going to take it any more.”
Until that time when people living there grow some self respect and demand something better than the morally and economically bankrupt dystopia being offered by their political class, it’s just a place you don’t want to be if you have any moral self interest or property worth stealing.
Watch and beware Alberta – this same predatory, neurotic, morally-compromised, parasitic political disease infects jurisdictions with wealth producers. We are seeing the first wave of it now. In less than a decade they will hollow out Alberta as they did Ontario. This is parasitic amoral statism and it will attack the host until it is dead then move on to the next victim. It uses moral confusion and revisionist indoctrination to promote apathy and helplessness and the next generation are being primed to accept dystopia as we speak.
OISE is perhaps the most nasty of ‘progressive’ institutions in Canada. With millions of dollars of taxpayers money they have set about to destroy education and especially critical thinking among students starting at a very young age, and it’s worked.
Many kids are never challenged at pointless babysitting schools, their parents trust the system or don’t care, and many kids end up as dumb as rocks – easily manipulated rocks, just like Obama voters.
Farmers, y’know.

Wynne named herself Agricuture Minister…tis isn’t gonna end well.
What a photo op it would make with a pen of “spring is in the air” heifers in the background….
Wynne has been handed a poisoned chalice. She just took her first sip today.
Brings back memories of Kim Campbell.
The multi gender sex ed program commencing in Grade One, years prior to puberty, is,without question, emotional and psychological child abuse. Parents and citizens need the curriculum mailed to them immediately for review and evaluation.
This program should be withdrawn immediately before thousands upon thousands of toddlers and children are unduly influenced and confused destroying their childhood and choices in the future. This is the express time where for parents/guardians the ‘rubber meets the road.’
Ontario monies were swallowed up in the half a dozen years developing this program and salaries forfeited to the gov’t by public demand. Officials were concentrating on their private genital inclinations, making terrific paycheques re same, all at the degraded expense of children’s mental health.
Now, is the time for parents to force withdrawal.
Simply perverse. It’s an ugly oozing from the sewer into the public square. There should be outrage but the public square has apparently grown accumstomed, not only to her face (that looks remarkably like Ted Danson-in-the-morning,) but to the dark and immoral purpose of it all. Makes one sick.
Caustic sarcasm warning:
Tell me more about that fence thingee around Toronto and the burbs — shall we fence in Peter Kent (who, despite some nonsensical comments about climate change, nevertheless withdrew this country from Kyoto), or shall we just fence in a guy like Joe Oliver (who, despite multiple heart by-bass surgery), is pushin’ pretty hard for those, um, what do you call them, again…(Oh, right! Pipelines)?
Either way, I guess, it’d be okay, since one is Jewish and the other represents a riding which has a large Jewish population.
Rhetorical question:
Do ya really think that apartheid and fences are the right way to go about gettin’ your head around dysfunctional aspects of provincial politics in Ontario?
Here’s an alternative idea: go and get the votes, just the way ol’ Steve-O did.
that should read, “all salaries made by the education minister who developed this perverse and perverted program during those years should be retrieved and forfeited by public demand.”
Wynne and McGuinty own the about to be implemented “perversions.”
There’s only one way to put a full stop to the Ontario gov’t. Boycott the voting booths altogether. Spoil every ballot for every last party on the dirty tickets.
Boycott the voting booth. En masse.
Dippers in Manatoebah, Dippers just out in Saskabush, red tories in in Newfberta, and stoopid lieberals in in Before Christe (BC), and U wankers are mewling about what?????
Kids graduating today can’t read , write, spell or do math without a calculator, but how many of us could put a condom on a cucumber in grade three ?. How many of us were told that being gay/lesbian or trans-gendered was the optimum life style we should all be striving for ?. Even get a parade every year where if you’re normal , you can’t have one. Let’s get with the times here, eh ? Did anyone really think a lesbian Premier who came up through the education system would not make the changes dear to her heart ? Kids in public schools have been screwed for more than 3 decades. The only thing different now is that political correctness expects all parents to embrace the screwing. Most urban parents today have never known a normal education system and can’t see a problem with it. The ones that do just keep quiet in case they wind up in front of the CHRC. Most can’t afford private schools and are too busy trying to eke out a living for home schooling. Screwed.
I am sure glad they are going to teach social activism. I was worried that the supply of protesters was about to run dry.
The university tuition protests in Quebec only cost the gov. 90 million
The Northern Gateway protests funded by Tides and Saudi oil are costing Canadians billions.
The solution is at hand – eventually the province will be forced into bankruptcy – hopefully I can get in a few years more of work and won’t have to move BEFORE I retire. After I retire – time to leave this hole and take my net worth and tax dollars west.
Your last word sums it up well…in many ways.
Occam is right, “Gender role/identity revisionism officially sanctioned moral confusion”.
Unless the average John and Mary wakes up to how their children are receiving a less than adequate education in the 3 Rs and the social engineering that is being brainwashed into them, and gets angry about it, this will only get worse. Walls or fences will not help to counteract this effort to neuter mankind.
Remember 70 years of Soviet brainwashing failed.
“…Wynne named herself Agricuture Minister…”
Yup. And the dickheads in the Christian Farmers Federation of Ontario described it as sending ” a clear signal to the Legislature and public service that agriculture is a major component in the Ontario economy.”
So let me get this right. The Premier – a Trawnatonian treehugger who wouldn’t know a bull from a steer – appoints herself Minister of Ag, and this crew of suckholing hayseeds thinks it’s a positive step. Talk about putting a spin on things.
That’s like a Munich Jew in 1938 saying that the outdoor ovens he was forced to build at Dachau was a sign that Hitler considered him essential to the New Order.
a third of a trillion debt and this is her first duty, telling kids who is an innie and who is an outie. or who wants a lop and who wants an extension . its Dumbtario.
Here’s what I need to know about Ontario over the next four years, from Ms. Wynne:
1. When will the Province achieve a balanced budget (independently verifiable, on the same accounting basis as 2003 on the day that Mr. Eves left office)?
2. What is your plan to roll back tax rates so that they are consistent with Mr. McGuinty’s signed pledge to the Canadian Taxpayers’ Federation to hold tax rates at the level extant on the day that Mr. Eves left office?
3. When will the Province achieve the same debt-to-GDP ratio extant on the day that Mr. Eves left office, and what is the plan to achieve that?
4. Please explain the measures you will take to ensure the independence and accountability of the electricity system.
5. Please explain the measures you will take to ensure that Ontario becomes a net contributor, on a financial basis, to Confederation.

Yeah, that’s a surefire way to stop the libtrash: stay away from the voting booths.
Did you spend a lot of time dreaming that up?
mhb23re
The government must pull out of education. Parents have trusted and relied on the system for far too long and now we have gay porn child abuse in schools. They have to stop being lazy. If teachers had any scruples, they would stand against this garbage and use the might of the unions to back them up. As it stands, both are corrupt.
One could go on forever with this but is just the tip of the iceberg.
Within the next generation the Asians are going to eat us for lunch. They’ll know how to do arithmetic and thereby have the skills required to function in a modern, technological society.
Our kids will be mopping the floors.
Universal voucher systems in education now!
It happens to be the only means available to stop the purposeful systemic, financial fraud/failures. Boycotts work and it’s required now. No platforms are exploring recouping the Samsung wind turbines/solar monies which could reboot Ontario. Those wasted billions should be recoverable through due process
Speaking of which Ontario citizens could draw up a class action suit regarding the age inappropriate sex ed program. Against any and all teachers who are prepared to mindlessly/amorally disseminate sex ed materials which constitute psychological child sex abuse.
The Jewish curriculum could be immediately adopted for a minimal cost compared to Wynne’s education ministery expenditures.
Now what lawyers/firm will pick up on this more than worthy cause/lawsuit.
In answer to your comment mhb.
if they wanted to make a positive impact regarding gender studies, they’d make Shop mandatory for boys and Home Ec. mandatory for girls.
…and they’d make Shop mandatory for girls and Home Ec. mandatory for boys.
Everyone should know how to cook, do laundry, build, and fix things, regardless of genitalia.
“Everyone should know how to cook, do laundry, build, and fix things, regardless of genitalia”
The government deciding what everyone “should” know is the underlying problem; wynne and the liberal fascists decide that kids “should” take gender studies, and their interpretation of history. More propaganda mandated by the left.
The failed examples of social re-engineering and trying to force boys and girls to reverse roles are numerous. If girls want to take shop because it interests them, and likewise home ec for boys, then fine. But let free choice, not the government, dictate. It isn’t the government’s job to mandate or decide what everyone “should” do, at least not in a free society.
mhb23re
And any parent who refuses to have their child go along with this garbage might face the threat of having their children taken away, after all the state are co-parents.

How much of the curriculum should be mandatory and how much should be voluntary?
Math, English, science, history, music, shop, home-ec,…..???
Who decides? School boards, parents, students?
“…And any parent who refuses to have their child go along with this garbage might face the threat of having their children taken away…”
Let’s not deal with unlikely, hypothetical situations, Rob. There is absolutely no danger that any Ontario parents would mount any meaningful objection to this.
s a matte of fact, I’ve got it from good sources that they’re going to be changing Ontario’s coat of arms. The moose and deer are being replaced by a steer and a seagull.
