My God, can it be? They elected Mrs. Drysdale mayor! I guess residuals from Beverly Hillbillies were not keeping her in the lifestyle to which she was accustomed – Calif, city politics – a goldmine for professional loafers with rich habits.
I once had a conversation with a woman in Vancouver with whom I was interesting in going on a date with, strictly because of her looks. In the course of that conversation I learned that she worked for the provincial government. She then told me, in no uncertain terms, that:
1. Everyone who works in the public sector is an altruistic person given the nature of the career path they’ve chosen.
2. Everyone who works in the private sector is suspect about their good nature because they’ve compromised themselves with their “for profit” motives.
At first I thought she was joking. She was not. Needless to say, I chose to never see her again.
If a poll question were generally given out to Canadians, what percentage of them would agree with her? You want to bet it would be over 40%? How about over 60%?
In a nutshell, this is proof positive of how messed up our society is. And nowadays, I think America is even worse.

All I could think of when reading about her various ‘Medical Conditions’ was Hillary Clinton.
And all shall be equal before the law.
