  2. Now the hereditary chief of Alert Bay, Beau Dick, is walking (when he’s not being driven) to Victoria where he will be met by the Usual Suspects (Alexandra Morton et al). Dick will walk in populated areas for the effect and ride in rural stretches which can be a grunt, considering the hills, vales, cougars, bears, logging trucks and nobody to cheer him on. Life is hard.

    Funny how Terry Fox could actually run a marathon a day halfway across the country for his cause but these “activists” can’t really do what they say they’re doing to further their cause.
    I think I’ll walk across half of North America next year to visit family in Vancouver. But, I’ll really be driving. However, I will walk to and from my car to my hotel room…and at various points of interest I wish to discover.

  6. Buy an older 4×4 3/4 ton put a heavy wall pipe bumper on it with a 1/4″ steel belly pan and big digger tires on, lotsa HP, and run the blockade. Maybe by the time things get to the Road Warrior stage the Government will decide to enforce the rule of law. The way it is now the useless govewrnments and useless police are encouraging lawlessness by all parties concerned. DeBeers should shut down and pull out and sue the federal government. The Indians are committing outright blatant extortion. If that scene was in Toronto and they spoke Italian, the cops would be all over them like flies on fresh sh*t. Gutless pukes.

  7. Thank-you Ezra for giving taxpayers (all of us!) the facts re: the Ata wha pit scam. Without SDA and Ezra almost all of us would be searching in vain for facts and feeling a bit sorry for the big spender chief, her oppertunist boytoy and the people who live on that Rez. If the people living in Ata wha pit scam are willing to blocade the diamond mine to ensure that they will all be totally dependent on us then all those people are not worth a moment of our time and not a dime from our pockets (all Fed revenue comes from our pockets). Now is the time for us to scrutinize ALL indian bands because many millions have gone missing from this one small pot of corruption, think of all the others. No one without guilt will have any problem allowing an independent audit. With this fact firmly in mind; let us proceed Mr. Duncan! Not a dime more from us until this is done – April is tax due month.

  8. I find it quite pleasantly ironic how Chief Escalade’s shenanigans have done more to expose tribalistic corruption than anything else.
    I hope it triggers forensic audits on all aboriginal governments.

  9. Now I am convinced, CBC is franticly fabricating factoids, to prove Chief Porkchop, is secretly paid by Harper.
    They will have to fake it because it is true, CBC can not allow the truth on air.
    Bottom line we dumb taxpayers pay Chief Spence, currently it is how much? That is the secret.
    Audit this twit. If Revenue Canada can crawl all over small businesses for their GST take, they should get a real charge out of busting these criminal leeches.

  10. In the real world, the world where people work, pay their taxes,and obey the laws of the land the kind of behaviour we’re seeing in Attawapiskat would land them in jail.
    This is one situation where the PM should cease to give any more money to Theresa and her boyfriend to squander without account for it while the people she represents as their chief and are living in squalor.
    Time too for DeBeers to end their attempts to help the Indians if their chief can’t call off the band thugs who are blocking the road to a source of badly needed employment for her people.
    Charlie Angus and his rants in the HOC are as helpful to the people of that hell hole as Chief Spence is presiding over. Charlie boy is playing politics and nothing more, typical of the party he represents.

  11. Debeer’s should,as mentioned before,close the mine and leave, but they undoubtedly have invested billions in the place.
    This is very typical of the mentality of so many Indian activists,they are NOT reasonable people and they will continue to take,take ,and take whatever they can,without a thought to the people who they’re taking from.
    Indian activists like Spence and Nepinak would bankrupt the Nation if they could and load their bank accounts with our money all the while.
    Debeers has been SO generous to the Attawapiskat Band,it boggles the mind of decent people that they would do anything against that company.
    Mr.Harper, let’s get on with that accounting for the Band’s funds,have the RCMP search diligently to find out where in hell all that stolen money is!
    This thief and her boyfriend deserve a long stretch in prison, nothing less.
