Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Funny. Our dog Belle would just stand and shake with her ears hung way down if we ever attempted to put her on our trampoline.
It’s all fun and games until some kid lands on one of Mudds bowel toads.
He’s clearly enjoying himself, but I also think he wants his master to come in and play.
OK, that had my dogs barking like mad as the vid played, some funny for sure. Dogs are so much like kids:-)))
LOL to cute, I think I’ll get my hyper Sheltie cross one of those.
I bet that is exactly what Mayor Ford looked like yesterday.
That is the way our Dolly reacts when she has caught a squirrel or a muskrat. Pure joy, complete with a smile from ear to ear.
Our medical establishment is working hard to ban trampolines, like they did with lawn darts under the usual ….if it saves even one life…..blah, blah blah. They even had some momentum until the Olympics decided to adopt the venue. Remember the activist battle cry, “if you enjoy it we will destroy it”.

Life must be grim PeterJ ; if it is one thing a zealot marxy type cannot stand it is watching someone or something enjoying living. It is viewed as a threat. Ezra wrote a book about it called “the War on Fun”.
Actually Jema54, for the wife and I life is good. I worry for the kids and grand kids who are seeing a constant barrage of intrusion and regulation by endless activism on every aspect of their life. I worry about the herd mentality that has taken over the free world by people who don’t seem to have a life of their own and lash out at anything that differs from their ideal of how one should think and how one should live. I will retire shortly so these people can kiss my ass, but I see the effect this brainwashing is having on the younger generations and I don’t like what I see or where this is going. This Country was build on strong individualism and is being destroyed by weenies, whiners and socialist wingnuts. Worrying never changes anything but I still have the freedom to voice my own opinion. Perhaps the last generation to do so. There are laws pending against hurting any ones feelings :))
