    God forbid the Palestinians actually get to form their own nation, rather than living under the boot of the Israelis.
    Most Israeli’s are immigrants to the area. They have no claim to that land aside from a book of mythology. No more than any of us white folks have to a chunk of land where ever the hell we came from in Europe.
    The Palestinians on the other hand, had been actually living in the area for time immorial. I know that the right LOOOOVES to talk about how “there was no Palestine”, but so what? There was no Canada, or US, or Israel a few centuries ago. They were just a dream. I think the people who live in that region have as much a right to self rule as anybody.
    Yes, there will be hurdles. And yes, there will be violence. And yes, both sides need to stop acting like idiots if they have any desire to survive as cultures, but this is a great start. So long as the moron class doesn’t ruin it. Right now, Canada is a member of the moron class.

    This is proven out by the fact that Israel has always taken positions of weakness in these, so-called, peace initiatives. Anti-withdrawal demonstrators weren’t arrested in the middle of the night and held for months without trial for no reason.
    Either it’s a deliberate policy, or the Jews in control are really stupid. Take your pick. There’s no middle ground.

    Couple of points I would like to add to your post.
    Israel allows sharia law for its Muslim minority; in fact the state runs courts and pays judges for such arbitration.
    Israel (alongside India) is one of two non-Muslim countries that permits the Muslim call to prayer, adhaan. (The Swiss won’t even allow minarets for mosques under construction.)
