  1. This is a surprise? Stalin’s boy have done an excellent job of infiltrating our educational systems.

  2. “Stalin’s boy have done an excellent job of infiltrating our educational systems.”
As you know,Ken, they did THAT back in the 1950’s. Now,anyone who isn’t a commie or fellow traveller isn’t welcome at one of their events.
Breitbart should make an effort to get in there under cover and covertly film their propaganda session,as should Homeland Security, just to see what they’re up to.
    It isn’t anything good.

  3. There’s something sinister here and coming from Chicago gives it even greater gravity. What the f*ck are these people thinking and why are they allowed anywhere near children? They should be required to register as political paedophiles.

  4. as surprising to me is they are doing it on a saturday on thier own time and dime. usually want time off with pay.

  5. And then these same teachers go back to their classrooms and couch everything in terms of “social justice”. If only I had a dollar for every time I have heard teachers here in Canada use those words. Unfortunately, they are never asked what they mean by those two words. It is always instructive when you challenge them on what
    they mean.

  6. ? Listening to socialists makes you a political paedophile(?). Homeland security needs to investigate a teachers convention?
We certainly wouldn’t want totalitarian no minds dealing with teachers.

  7. Are their any short, kids books that illustrate the downside of socialism? Something parents could arm/inocculate their little one with.
“The Little (economic) Engine That Could”.Extolling the value of self-reliance?
Schools lean WAAAYY over the other way.

  8. They can be even bolder now the wh is filled with people who came from the same group of fellows.
What part of homeland security is going to be interested in this?

  9. A few years ago at university I was curious why two seemingly unconnected left-wing foreign students happened to be travelling to Chicago on the same weekend in the middle of winter. It didn’t take long to discover that an international socialist conference was going on that weekend. It was timed roughly with Obama’s inauguration.

  10. The reporter kept asking “Why do you want me to leave?”, when he should have asked what are you hiding and what don’t you want the public to see.

  11. I know some really great teachers, but i wouldn’t give you a pinch of coon poop for any one of these jerks, and to think we let them anywhere near our kids is mind boggleing.
    God help us!

  12. What a bunch of loony freaks.
Did ya hear the weird girly giggles from the men when talking about racism?

  13. Seems linear with what we see emerging from public school systems. Teachers colleges, teachers unions and school boards are captured by zombie Marxists and indoctrinated pedagogues create more Marxist zombies in the school system and, like all covert Marxist expansionary agendas, this is paid for with your tax money. Subverting Marxist organizers learned generations ago that mass indoctrinating programs were beyond their means but Union and public funds must be diverted to this agenda.

  14. The solution is simple; fire all of the teachers and replace them with babysitters. Great cost savings and no indoctrination of the students in anti-American values.
I’d love to see a school district take this cost saving measure. The communists would likely identify themselves fairly quickly in the aftermath and one could then hire back the real teachers. Encouraging self-study would result in far more self-reliant students than having them fed a steady diet of communist propaganda.

  15. WRT the vid that Boots linked: I am not familiar with ‘EAG’…does anyone know what that represents?

  16. Post secondary education has been fully infiltrated by marxists so it’s logical that they are filtering down into the junior levels.

  17. If Nazis held a conference, the media would be all over it. But Marxists? That’s just tickety-boo.
Marxist leave an invisible trail of blood behind them wherever they go.

  18. I’m going to take a wild guess here, but I’m thinking there’s probably zero history teachers there.

  19. The reporter would have been much smarter to play the game and sneak in a video or voice recorder. Just another fellow Marxist so to speak. The communist party and all their offshoots have never really gone away. We already know that social engineers are the base for Marxist ideology and permeate the institutions of higher learning as well as most unions. Obama ran his entire election platform on Socialist doctrine and he won. The country is already split down the middle between the workers and the drones, males and females, young and mature, as well as race. The last train for freedom and capitalism has left the station and it’s full speed ahead for 4 more years of socialism. By the time this train arrives at the next destination life as we knew it will be nothing but memories and Karl Marx may well have a statue in front of the White House. I doubt if 5% of the population knew the implications of the slogan “Forward” and the history behind it. The people attending the Marxist meeting are the same ones Stalin referred to as useful idiots. They just don’t know it and you could never convince them otherwise. Half the population could now be termed useful idiots. Too late for a happy ending.

  20. Socialism/communism is the philosophy of force. Force for the sake of force. Seat belt laws, for your own good. Bombs in the steering wheel in front of our faces, for our own good. The state owns all the property, don’t believe me try not paying your taxes. And on and on
All stemming from the wish of the people for a king, a leader to lead them. Some earthly authority over them. As though people don’t know right from wrong unless someone tells them…which, these days, is mostly true.
Amo 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the word of the LORD:
Amo 8:12 And they shall go staggering from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.
Heh, staggering from one ‘authority’ to the next seeking what is true. One ideology to the next…one ‘leader’ to the next…all the while descending deeper and deeper into more rules and regulations for their own good.
All because you have to have someone tell you right from wrong…

  21. Nice to get some truth this morning Strad!
The irony is that the ones in this video will never read or hear any of this of their own free will. They have chosen chains and hate and all they want to do is make others feel as bad or worse than they do. I doubt that any one of them in that conference would admit to being happy or free, without a glass of wine (or 3) or a big fatty.
Freedom is expensive, they have no idea the cost.

  22. Given the mindset of most Marxists, you can also safely bet that the
number of attendees paying their own way to this circus is minimal.
    .

  23. That there are many teachers there should be no surprise. Marxism is based on class envy, and there is no group who are more envious than teachers. Sure, Occutwats and unionistas are envious of the rich as well, but they know, deep down, that they really don’t deserve it; they just want it.
Teachers, on the other hand, have a deeper and more visceral envy because they actually believe they deserve to be rich. After all, they’re edumacated, and their job is to mo(u)ld children’s minds (which they do exceedingly well), so dammit, they deserve to be as rich as someone who had some ideas, perservered through failures, and finally became a success. You know, like Jobs or Suckerberg. There is hardly a teacher out there who doesn’t think the job she’s doing – it’s almost always a she – isn’t ‘worth just as much as an iPhone or Facebook’.
    Clots.

  24. The “just leave” useful idiots seventy years ago were saying,
“Just get on the box car”
    “Just get in the shower”
    They’re unteachable.

  25. What a travesty to see Marxism making a comeback here in the West after being so thoroughly discredited when Communism collapsed in Eastern Europe. A liberal-minded graduate student recently told me that everyone else in her program is a Marxist. It was said jokingly but many a true word is spoken in jest.
Few of these Neo-Communists would like living under the regimes of North Korea, Vietnam, China, Cuba or even Venezuela but they all think they will do better this time. Not likely given that these people are not as intelligent or unselfish as they think they are, and given the nature of us humans.
Some teachers especially seem to have an inflated sense of their own cleverness. (Speaking from personal observation by someone who was a public school teacher briefly.)

  26. The philosopher Plato cautioned society: (1) what will society teach its children and (2) who will do the teaching.

  27. One thing I hate about these types of videos is the circle jerk questions. Same one over and over, and no they aren’t going to answer it the way you want.
Obviously the videographer didn’t get it – they don’t want you.
Should be good enough video. I stopped about 30 seconds in as just asking “why” is like a 2 or 3 year old.
Doesn’t support the cause or rational thinking when both sides are being stupid.

  28. You talk, you type, you hyperventilate, but you don’t vote in your local school board elections. You allow this to happen through your passivity.

  30. From a commentor at Legal Insurrection blog…
Chicago has been Ground Zero for the Marxist Theory of the Mind since Joseph Dietzgen, the actual creator of the phrase, Dialectical Materialism, moved there in the late 1800s.
Plus there is George Herbert Mead’s work and the creation of the Behavioral Sciences there in the late 1940s.
I worry though that people assume a Marxist teacher is about what is taught. It is actually how. What it takes to have a mind dominated by emotional impulses instead of the rational, abstract capability. ……….
It absolutely dominates Obama’s ed reforms for both K-12 and higher ed. Also the Standards for Teaching and Learning which is what Obama refers to in his speeches as the real common core was created in the early 90s in Chicago. With Joyce funding (where he was on the board) and then later funding from the Chicago Annenberg Challenge that he directed.
We make a mistake not appreciating how much a Marxist, openly acknowledged or not, wants being to dictate thinking. And the mind to be weak in comparison to the heart as the driver of action.

  31. Well, yes, it is surprising, because not one in 1000 public school teachers is capable of understanding Marx.

  32. Marxism is really akin to religion for these people. Most conservative or politically agnostic people just want to get on with their lives, but the progressives are like energizer bunnies – they just go on and on and on.
In my town we have a very agressive District Teacher’s Association. The past president recently retired (at quite a young age) and immediately ran and was elected as a School Trustee.
See, because she’s retired, she becomes a disinterested third party and would never think of voting in the interests of her errr, former union members.
And voters apparently are stupid. They see no conflict of interest.
