Team Obama is “fast and furious’ in attack mode, especially after this bombshell.
Americans are commonly ignorant about Canada. Many Canadians think they know just about everything about the U.S.
Commentators like McParland writing on a supposedly quasi-conservative editorial page certainly don’t help support the latter assumption.
“Everyone knows Romney is rich, but it seems not to have occurred to him that spending lavishly to renovate a vacation home in California might not go down well when running for president during an economic crisis.”
A rational person would say “Glad to hear Romney’s spreading his money around, particularly in California where the unemployment rate is a whopping 10.8%.”
McParland is saying, in effect, that Romney has problems seeing things from the irrational point of view. But maybe America could use some of that at the top post.
I enjoyed mcparlands take downs on mcguinty, but had to stop reading him since he’s an absolute slavering obozo disciple. I think he read a lot of those Mandingo novels when he was an adolescent. Decency forbids me saying more.
When is the National Post gonna PUBLICALLY endorse Obama?
A lot of ‘conservatives’ in Canada bash the GOP just to prove to their more ‘Progressive’ friends that they aren’t really that bad. Want to look into a progressives open mouth for a few minutes while their brain is working overdrive trying to find a response? When they say ‘we have to help the poor and feed the starving’ just as them ‘why?’
Do they actually pay him for this??

Iowa Jim, yes it is, and they usually disparage Republican candidates and ignore the deficiencies of the Democrat candidates.

I have for some time now noticed the left wing garbage slipping into the National Post….please go to the Globe we totally dislike your rambling in our paper you self-serving hypocrites.
The Post is now just as bad as the Toronto Star and the Globe.

I have to disagree with TJ. I think McParland’s getting better. Yes, he’s an incredible horse’s ass most of the time, but when he started he was an incredible horse’s ass all the time. In the last year or so he’s had flashes of good sense every few weeks. I’m not giving up on him.
