A “well-known scholar revered by millions globally“…
“It is well known that the Jews celebrate several holidays, one of which is the Passover, or the matzos holiday,” he said.
“I read once about a doctor who was working in a laboratory. This doctor lived with a Jewish family. One day, they said to him: ‘We want blood. Get us some human blood,’” Al-Odeh explained.
“He was confused. He didn’t know what this was all about,” Al-Odeh says as the interviewer nods along. “He found that they were making matzos with human blood. They eat it, believing that this brings them close to their false god, Yahweh.”
Jewish people “would lure a child in order to sacrifice him in the religious rite that they perform during that holiday,” Al-Odeh adds.
The prominent Saudi Cleric also believes that the Holocaust “has been turned into a myth of tremendous proportions.”
So that’s where the United Church of Canada is getting their information.

You mean so called sentient people believe this?
Arabs/Islamists/Muzzies…the proof of de-evolution.And we allow them to walk and live among us??? We are sooooooo fubared.
“The Obama administration has gone out of its way to maintain stellar relations with the Saudi government, which is known to oppress its people. The president famously took heat early in his presidency for bowing to Saudi King Abdullah.” – Nice.
don’t laugh
Last night, Ezra had Ottawa’s Fred Litwin on his show. Fred bravely went to the United Church crazy conference, and heard a guy say that Jews think it is ok to murder non-Jews. He read it in a book so it must be true!!
the above about Jews and “Bush ate puppies for breakfast” are undeniable facts…if you are insane!!
When it comes to presidents eating dogs, I’ve never heard a bad word about Bush. However…
Given Dr. Ahmadinejad received his doctorate in traffic transportation planning; I suppose his method of operating would be with a D9 Caterpillar bulldozer…
Isn’t operating without a medical license opening yourself up to a huge medical malpractice lawsuit?

I read once…
I’ve heard it said…
Some have reported…
Somebody told me once…
Sources say…..
I heard someone say on TV…
It is widely accepted….
Many say….
A lot of people don’t pay attention to the weasel words that begin these nut case statements. They just hear the accusations and accept it as true. After all they have been hearing them on CBC for years and they would never lie or make shit up.
To the Israeli armed forces about to take on Iran, one can only say, Godspeed!
Oh and I’d add one thing: after Iran, come here and Iranize the United Church.
The joke here is that the newly-elected moderator of the United Church (an increasingly irrelevant organization)just elected their first openly gay moderator, or CEO. He is married to a Vancouver city councillor, Tim Stephenson.
Frankly I think it would be incumbent on the moderator and spouse to visit those countries that their organization supports. Assuming the countries include Saudi Arabia, Iran and Gaza, we could have a pool as to which country summarily executes them first.
Who would have thought in 1970 We would bring blood libels back from the Middle ages or Czarist Russia in 2012? Yes Islam is having no effect on us at all eh?
The higher the population the more brutal this Nation excepts what was unthinkable. That’s “progressiveness” baby! The Religion of Frankenstein.
My sons are both in scouting organizations and they use the local United Church hall for their meetings. I was perusing the bulletin board while waiting for them one night and saw a notice about Buddhism workshops. This is completely insane and I would not believe it if I didn’t see it, but the United Church is actively trying to convert its members to Buddhism.
Fred bravely went to the United Church crazy conference, and heard a guy say that Jews think it is ok to murder non-Jews.
It’s still in their Talmud that it may be okay to murder children. If they don’t want people to think that, maybe they should take it out.
GEMARA. R. Ashi propounded: What if one caused his blind or sleeping son to pass through, (3) or if he caused his grandson by his son or daughter to pass through? — One at least of these you may solve. For it has been taught: [Any men … that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall he put to death … And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people;] because he hath given of his seed unto Molech. Why is this stated? — Because it is said, there shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire. From this I know it only of his son or daughter. Whence do I know that it applies to his son’s son or daughter’s son too? From the verse, [And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man] when he giveth of his seed unto Molech [and kill him not: Then I will … cut him off.]
— Babylonian Talmud, Tractate Sanhedrin 64b
Soncino 1961 Edition, page 439
Rabbi Dr. Freedman, one of the translators of the Soncino Tractate Sanhedrin, clarifies the passage. In a footnote, Rabbi Dr. Freedman confirms that the Talmud Sages use “seed” to denote living children. In this footnote, Rabbi Dr. Freedman paraphrases the question from Rabbi Ashi:
Is ‘thou shalt not cause to pass’ applicable only to a son who can naturally pass through himself, but not to a blind or sleeping son, who must be led or carried, or does it apply to all?
Jewish people “believe that have the right to kill anyone who does not adhere to their religion,” Al-Odeh adds.
This stuff just writes itself. I don’t suppose the revered scholar has ever heard of the concept of irony.
fiddle, the passage is saying it is NOT OK to murder children. Those who do are to be executed.
fiddle – pretty sure that’s saying you’re not supposed to murder your kids. But hey, I guess a little anti-semitism never hurt anyone, am I right?
You do realize sacrificing to the Caananite god Moloch was frowned upon by the Jews, yes?
Also, Jewish children would tend to be Jewish. Think about it mentally.
fiddle, the passage is saying it is NOT OK to murder children. Those who do are to be executed.
Yeah, it’s not okay unless some rabbi can come up with an interpretation otherwise’
Such as; Lev. XVIII, 21. This proves that the offence consists of two parts; (i) formal delivery to the priests, and (ii) causing the seed to pass through the fire.
As two separate offences, proving that giving one’s seed to Molech is not idolatry. The differences [sic] is, that if one sacrificed to Molech, or caused his son to pass through the fire to some other deity, he is not punished.
When you think about it, pretty much the same way our laws are ‘re-interpreted’ to mean the opposite of what they say.
I wonder where that tradition came from?
What, the Mamba doesn’t have anything clever to say?
Btw, you do know where the black robes originated, don’t you?
Even if you had a problem with Israeli domestic or foreign policy, why would you believe that utter crap?
This is why I will not use “progressive” to describe liberals/leftists/other morons of that ilk.
fiddle – you’re a hopelessly confused anti-semite. How’s that?
I only quoted their own writings. Just like so many brag about doing to leftists.
In response, true to leftist form, you begin calling names. You’ve learned well…
Maybe you aren’t so clever…
“causing the seed (children) to pass through the fire” means human sacrifice to the pagan god Moloch. Unsurprisingly, the pactice is banned in the Talmud. The text says the exact opposite of what you think it says.
No more from me on this.
test
fiddle “I only quoted their own writings. Just like so many brag about doing to leftists.”
So we are to believe – an intelligent racist? I suspect just the old fashioned anti-semite.
What John Lewis said.
The UC has made a complete 180 degree turn, and gone from seeking to help the lost to helping the people to become lost.
The result of generations of first cousin marriages.
Religion- Just an exuse for an argument and nothing more.
WalterF and Black Mamba are correct on this, fiddle.
Historically, the Old Testament is repleat with examples of Samaria and Israel commiting idolatry and going off after the false gods of the surrounding gentile people.
Molech was one of the nastier idols, a large half-man half-bull idol made of brass sitting cross legged with it’s hands open as if to catch something and hollowed out inside to be a furnace.
The worshippers of Molech would give their first born children to be dropped into the idol’s red hot hands, this was believed to bring great prosperity to the family.
If wasn’t a Jewish practice, it was something that was practiced by another religion.
The person asking the question of the rabbi is trying to figure out how to get around what was forbidden by the Jewish God and still get the prosperity from the religion of idolatry.
Maybe the clerics source is the same one Harry Reid has?
I mean, if the guy is “respected”, he would’nt just make stuff up about other people….right?
That Molech thing has lingering deep roots in the part of the world….although children are no longer burned alive in raging furnace like idols….the methods have changed but the practice continues.
The readiness of a certain demographic to willingly send their seed (children) off as suicide bombers indicates this…IMHO.
Should we expect Dr. Amadiddydo to be invited to speak at a synod of the United Church of Canada in the near future?
sasquatch, good connect there.
Liz J said: “Should we expect Dr. Amadiddydo to be invited to speak at a synod of the United Church of Canada in the near future?”
I hope he speaks at one near me. I’d like to have a word with him…
The UC of Canada still has 500,000 adherents?
With aplogies to McLuhan – The Mesmerized are the message.
Fiddle, you’re interpreting that verse with Islam goggles on.
God stated he hated those that sacrificed their children to Molech and instructed the Jews not to be like them (imitate their rituals). Children are also not to pass through strange fire, another pagan practice going on at the time.
I’d like to know where in the Qu’ran it says to strap bombs onto your sons and daughters to kill as many Jews as possible. Must be in there somewhere-Allah Akbar is the last words they utter.
Since the United Church is basically the NDP at prayer, we should perhaps move the focus to a wider segment of Canadian society, left of centre, who share all these beliefs. And where do all of them, whether in or out of the UCC, get their perspectives? From like-minded persons in Israel, and the American Jewish left, and by extension, from Hamas and the PLA.
No harm in this, if the perspectives are based on facts, leading to ideology. But some of the “facts” turn out to be fictions, which makes for an ideology based on half-truths. There is also the irony (in the case of the UCC types, the secular leftists are at least being consistent) that the very word of God proclaimed in church every week is being ignored on this and various other issues. However, this is a double-edged sword for so many, because who among us has not decided that some part of the O.T. is no longer “relevant.”
In Judea and Samaria, the O.T. relevance could not be clearer. The land belongs to the Jewish people. And so does about half of Lebanon and bits of Syria and Jordan too. Oi vei.
