  1. I suspect that the post-debate polls will come flooding in on Monday and we’ll see the Roses up to 49-50%
    I also suspect they’ll be ahead in Edmonton by 2 or 3% by the time we vote.
    Good times.
    We could have an 86 seat Wildrose majority with NDP Brian Mason holding the opposition by himself.

    Redford: “Well, I didn’t say I wanted to change the character of Alberta, somebody else said I wanted to change the character of Alberta. And just for the record, I love Alberta (eye roll)”

  6. Alison is likely ruing the day that she snuck in to the leader’s position. She will wear the handprint of this slap forever. I do not think that being mentioned in the same sentence as Kim Campbell holds any appeal.
    Along the lines of “math is hard”,leading is very difficult. You have to have an aptitude for it,a natural talent,the ability to make ideas plausible when they are not. There has to be a warmth that melts doubt.
    Ms. Redford is closer to an ice queen than a blast furnace.
    As much as I admire people for having the ‘courage of their convictions’,she does not make that category because of the ease that her ” convictions” are set aside.
    This may not be the best example,but I like it.
    When the committee pay BS went down she allowed her MP’s to decide for themselves whether or not to pay back the money that they did not earn. She allowed them to act on their ‘conscience’. Then she says that for a physician or a priest to act on their conscience must be decided by government!!!
    No,no,a thousands times no.You may wish you could have it both ways,but you can’t. The voters will decide,say hi to Kim.

    You mean the ones that drive the provincial economy and have kept you in power for over 40 years? I suppose little brown men like Fidel Castro, and Hugo Chavez are more up to their racial equality tastes.
    15% “visible” minorities in the WRP absolutely reflect Alberta’s demographics, but to a racist UN run provincial government anything reflecting less than the Ugandan National Congress is not enough to control properly.
    It’s funny though, the Alta PC party has been running at double speed to bulk up Alberta’s vote farms with third world visible minorities this last decade, believing that “little brown people” will always vote Liberal socialist if you can get enough of them. Wrong bet Adolf, if they took their racist goggles off, the rest of the world hates socialism if given the choice and the real opportunities conservative Alberta offers. They aren’t all as stupid as the Liberal Left makes them out to be, just the ones that flock to Toronto for the handouts.

    K: Yes, you were. But sometimes the people that vote do not understand that. They see concrete instead of abstract. They would rather eat hamburger,than strive for sushi,they want electricity at the flip of a switch rather than intermittent sustainable electricity that makes life a challenge. They are not you and I.They are cowards.
    A: Exactly,we stand strong against progress,that’s why we call ourselves progressive. We stand strong for equality,yet there are differences that must be considered. We demand that justice is blind,but past injustice must be considered. Religious beliefs will not interfere with our courts,but some must be considered.
    K: Absolutely right,our country stands by MLK’s words, “I have a dream.I dream of the day that a man will not be judged by the colour of his skin ,but the content of his character.”
    A: Whoa Kim,way over the top, I don’t judge people by their colour,I judge them by their beliefs. If you believe in equality,then we are all the same,though some at the top who rule may need a little more than those at the bottom,perfectly understandable.

  10. At least we now know that Progressive Alison Redford was actively attempting to swindle Alberta into an arm of the Liberal Socialist Euro-zone, like Greece, Italy, Spain and Ireland.
    Thank God, we found her out before it was too late!
    Are there no treason laws we could pursue?
