  7. Chris Rock is a black standup comic who can be funny at times,
    but…having said that…
    in his most popular video he not only says it is ok to beat up white people ( in “certain” situations ) but the part where he makes the gesture of kicking violently a white person while they are on the ground is replayed over and over while the cheers and the applause of the mostly black audience is also played back over and over.
    It is presented as a triumphant moment in the stand-up routine of Chris Rock.
    It is the “climax” of the whole show.
    Go and rent it, you will see; beating up violently white people is fine, funny and celebrated by Chris Rock and his fans.

  12. I’m with Occam. These people are spoiling for a fight. I’d very careful if I were them. Its not like gun sales are through the roof or anything. Its the only real growth idsutry in the US as far as I can tell. Just sayin’.

  14. I like the column, but I don’t agree with this quote:

    The leftist viewpoint really does advocate parasitism and looting, and tries to get as many people taking unearned state benefits as possible. Right-wing free-marketeers, on the other hand, respect and advocate the productivity of capitalist society.
    Ayn Rand sorted it all out: “producers” versus “looters” were her terms for capitalists and socialists respectively.
    From Wikipedia: “Eliminationism is the belief that one’s political opponents are ‘a cancer on the body politic that must be excised — either by separation from the public at large, through censorship or by outright extermination — in order to protect the purity of the nation’.
    Once one recalls the genocides perpetrated by collectivists like Stalin, Hitler, Mao, and Pol Pot, it’s clear that “eliminationism” is one thing the left is rather fond of.
    We libertarians don’t want to exterminate or censor anybody. We just want the leftists to realize that they’re wrong; many of them eventually do. And we also want to protect our own freedoms.

  15. We are the Right, dumb@ss. We aren’t supposed to be all tolerant and wonderful. You Lefties are. But it seems in this as in all other things, you just can’t walk your talk.
