I read the outrage here and the disgust at another teachers strike. What frosts US is the students being used to further the teacher’s ’cause’ with their ‘solidarity’ ploy.
Someone above commented exactly what we remarked when we saw the kids picketing : FIRE ALL TEACHERS as Reagan did with the Air Traffic Controllers.
I am just sick of this constant whine from the teachers. They just came off of a 16% increase over three years and now they want 15% increase.
In the private sector that is UNHEARD of here in BC. WE pay their salaries with NO hope of ever making that kind of money while we are being hijacked and blackmailed by these miscreants who cannot and do not teach unless you call propagandizing the children day in and day out a la Suzuki in the bedroom window. “Now, you know your parents do not know anything, so it is up to you children to report to us when they are doing wrong, like using the wrong light bulb or not recycling in acceptable ways”
I am sure all the kids know all about global warming and how evil the human presence is on this planet but cannot spell or add.
And they demand a raise!
