Taste the rainbow:
In one particular case,
To be fair, the accompanying music had a really good beat.
I’ll miss Breitbart, for moments like this.
The bubblehead at the end who says “I’ve never raped anybody, I don’t know who they’re talking to.” was icing on the cake.
RIP, Andrew.

How about SDAers volunteering during those three days? For the children. Would be able to exorcise all that Sky Alarmism from their vulnerable little minds.

The Democrats are defining more and more ‘human rights’ that must be funded by the state (aka the taxpayer). One of them is contraception.
Georgetown law student, Sandra Fluke told Pelosi’s committee supporting Obama’s drive to get insurance to pay for contraception and abortions -said: “Forty percent of the female students at Georgetown Law reported to us that they struggled financially as a result of this policy (Georgetown student insurance not covering contraception), Fluke reported.
“It costs a female student $3,000 to have protected sex over the course of her three-year stint in law school, according to her calculations.
“Without insurance coverage, contraception, as you know, can cost a woman over $3,000 during law school,” Fluke told the hearing.
And Obama wants the state/taxpayers to pay for this. Now wait a minute.
What if this student CHOOSES to take some multivitamins, extra vitamin E, D, and oh, calcium over these three years. Should other people pay for this as well?
What if she CHOOSES to eat organic foods and well, any food at all. Should other people pay for this as well?
Let’s see – what if she CHOOSES to get her hair coloured and cut once a month? Should other people pay for this?
These are life choices of these young women; they aren’t medical necessities for some illness such as diabetes. Why should others – who, after all, fund the financial capacity of the medical insurance – why should others pay for these non-medical choices?
Oh – and, I know the Democrats think it is, but I’ll insist that pregnancy is not a disease, not a medical problem to be avoided.
After all, if you want to make that argument, then, you ought to have your medical insurance paying for your toothpaste, nail files and the cleaner for your contacts.
Speaking of ‘Sky Alarmism’, Australian parents seem increasingly inclined to rescue their newly-minted Carbon Kids from the climate Moonies.

I was floored to discover that as of today I have to pay and extra 20 bucks a month to watch Sun News Network on Rogers Cable. Was I the only guy taken by surprise? This makes me sad – especially since I get the same CTV and CBC news programming repeated on about 9 channels apiece. I vowed to cut out cable altogether in protest, but this has made my wife mutinous.
If the actor John Houseman were still around, I’m sure he would have had a message for the Occupy Wall Streeters and their entitlements, based on this:

they have been talking about it for awhile , that is what happens when you run a for profit private enterprise they provide you with a product or service (both rogers and now the sun news network) and you pay for that service ….but alas all you have to do is switch to shaw cable it is free with your BASIC cable package, and as for telus they are still negotiating , but telus satellite it is included…why lol your gonna laugh …becasue telus rent’s the satellite from bell whom went to court to try to snuff out the sun news network at the request of ctv and to the delight of cbc but sun news network won their case!!!
That was so cool i love robotics, actually tell me and don’t lie those fo you who watched it , be honest you waited the who video wondering are they going to play the guitar? please play the guitar! please play the guitar! please play the guitar!….lol and ,and and….well you’ll have to watch it to know!! lol good night folks!!
And yes cross the picket lines and work for free ladies and gentleman volunteer and do it for the kids!!!
Is this another case of police overreacting?
I now live in a tiny village where nothing exciting happens. Except today.
A 26 yr-old male confined to a mental institution in a small city nearby managed to get back to his home here and barricaded himself inside.
No guns, no history of violence, no threat to anyone. Just one sick male.
The response from the OPP:
More than 25 officers from the tactical response unit, emergency response unit, canine unit and area detachments.
Wonder what that cost the taxpayers?
Whoah, what an emotional roller coaster of a day. It started in absolute disbelief with me learning from Dana Loesch’s Facebook feed about Andrew Breitbart’s passing. In the late afternoon, after watching Steven Crowder’s tearful, unedited video, I just couldn’t follow any more coverage.
Through it all, I deliberately avoided the hatefest that I heard through the grapevine was the Leftist Blogosphere today.
It’s going to be a tough, tough year for our American conservative friends. Here’s hoping that somehow Breitbart’s death will give them a point of focus with which to fight harder – for whomever the Republican nominee turns out to be – to kick the current Saul Alinsky devotee out of the White House!
When medication used from million to billion we must say that is kind if business
when we see pharmaceuticals used drug for sake of money to inject wrong drug to mental illness people and not care to give them 100 side affect unanswer that is kind of crime under use of misuse and mismanagment of drug medical tablet
now if we hire police and crown to help safty and security as number of them goes up and they used their power to intentionally put mentally ill or simple people not know the law in jail or mental hospital that is crime and ring human right
if they study so many cases in criminal court crown made condition under recognition in purpose they know that person will fail all those abusive condtion and for each those crown who in fact are lawyer in cover of new shape called them crown and no matter their money are in their bank account made up story
there is so many crown who changed judges or choose judges to gain their guilty plea by purpose is biggest corruption today among crown and police link with them
it means their anger of loosing a case lead them to hate to accused made them to join and made a plan by intention and hired uncover cop to made enough evidence later to do crime as hate crime
If crown hated accused and do intentionally to put him keep arrested over 7 years this is make money for them to keep made up case and make small to trail or worst to put accused in jail and forced them to say guilty plea or go to NCR or jail or we go to trail and we made you guilty in both way if crown do such thing must get arrested as hate crimnal and they join those crown to list of human right and list of crime
what they charge them: charge for hate criminal to add or punish them more than crime they did commit or convicted
Where is tax money being spent

Iowahawk on Breitbart. (In which the great satirist claims to regard himself as a “meek approval-seeking chickenshit”; wouldn’t have been my characterization.)
Yes, I’m still up. I have a Judy Garland-type thing going on with dramamine (among others) and paint-stripper strength coffee. And I’m more upset about Breitbart than I would have imagined possible.
“Move on” is a classic tactic of the left when they are in retreat. Their phony “robo-call” smear-fest has run its course.
Leftists have moved on as they are wont to do.
The left has moved on? No, they have retreated to one of their default positions: white liberal guilt.
And, as always, they are going for the “stash”; our taxes, aka U-Pay.

“Moving motorists into electric vehicles is far from the climate change panacea many imagine.”
“There’s nothing like the angst of the truly offended to spur a dedicated columnist back to the keyboard and rumination. And none are more easily offended — at least judging by last week’s column — than the dedicated proponents of the electric vehicle. Loud is their outrage any time their anointed savior is castigated.
Thankfully, among all the detritus (usually anonymous, by the way) was a gem from Tony Catterall, a reporter whose previous beats included covering the German auto industry in the 1980s and ’90s.
Proving that there’s nothing new under the sun, Catterall sent along his “Electric cars may drive pollution levels higher” story that was published in London’s The Observer on Aug. 4, 1991 that predated — by 20 years (quite the scoop, Tony!) — my column detailing the University of Tennessee’s contention that EVs may actually result in more overall pollution than gasoline-fuelled automobiles.”

Looks like zoro, aka ok, aka new, is off her meds again.
Seriously zoro, if you want someone to read your comments, DO NOT make them long, rambling and multi-posted. It turns off readers real fast.
I’ve had one comment get lost in the filter – so I won’t repeat the link. It was about the young law student who insisted in Pelosi’s meeting on this issue that her student medical service ought to pay for all female students’ contraceptives over the three year law program. That’s because, she said, it was ‘too expensive’ and would easily add up to $3,000.
Now wait a minute. [Apart from the exorbitant cost she is claiming[..She is saying that ‘pregnancy would lead to medical costs’ and that the university’s medical provider would have to pay for these costs, and therefore, ought to pay to prevent such occurrences. Hmm.
Does this mean that a poor diet would ‘lead to medical costs’ and should the medical service also provide, for ‘free’, vitamin supplents and healthy food?
Hmm. Would inadequate footwear ‘lead to medical costs’ and should…etc.
Medical service providers (I’m not using the word that begins with I…. as it might be the reason for the filter)..are for RISK, not daily health care. The risk is spread around a community who all pay into this service. If the community wants this service to pay for everything, from vitamin supplements to healthy meals to birth control – then, that community’s costs will escalate. This young law student seems oblivious of this reality.
And on another issue, the Great One, Obama, who has compared himself to Lincoln (remember his inauguration train?) and Roosevelt and Martin Luther King – is now comparing himself to Ghandi and Mandela. Ahh, the ultimate narcissist.
http://freebeacon.com/obama-likens-himself-to-mandela-gandhi/
I wonder who is next on his list of comparisons?
Speaking of infanticide, here’s a pair of Australian ‘ethicists’ who are arguing in favour of it.
I’m not putting in the link because of the filter but it’s in today’s Globe and Mail online.
“We claim that killing a newborn could be ethically permissible in all the circumstances where abortion would be,” write Alberto Giubilini and Francesca Minerva in a Journal of Medical Ethics paper.
The authors argue that a newborn cannot be considered a person because it has not developed a sense of self and future.
“We take ‘person’ to mean an individual who is capable of attributing to her own existence some (at least) basic value such that being deprived of this existence represents a loss to her,” they write. “It might start having expectations and develop a minimum level of self-awareness at a very early stage, but not in the first days or few weeks after birth.”
They make no specific determination of how old a newborn must be to move from being a “potential person” to personhood, saying that is a question for neurologists and psychologists.”
Notice how definitions are being changed. Infanticide is now ‘after-birth abortion’. Notice also how they refer to the newborn as ‘her’ (a common feminist misuse of the pronoun. The English pronoun ‘he’ is both gender specific AND neutral, while ‘she’ and ‘her’ are just gender specific.
At any rate, this redefinition of what ‘person’ means is strongly similar to the Third Reich, which readily defined all Jews, gypsies etc as ‘non-persons’. Islamism defines all infidels as ‘non-persons’ who must be killed.
In defense of her perspective, Prof Minerva said: ”This was a theoretical and academic article…. I didn’t mean to change any laws. I’m not in favour of infanticide. I’m just using logical arguments.”
Now wait a minute. If you are not in favour of infanticide, then why are you writing an article promoting it? And how is infanticide a ‘reality’ operative within logical arguments, while rejecting infanticide is..ahhh…illogical?
Some reasons the authors give for infanticide include, of course, ‘birth defects’ but also, get this, a woman who ‘loses a partner’ and must face raising the child as a single parent. Answer? Kill the child. They reject adoption, arguing that “It is true that grief and sense of loss may accompany both abortion and after-birth abortion as well as adoption, but we cannot assume that for the birthmother the latter is the least traumatic.”
Ahh, ‘after-birth abortion’. A new term in our vocabulary. Deals with sticky problems of being a single parent, or the child having blue rather than brown eyes or……gosh, simply not ‘being a person’. Incredible.
And, speaking of the ease of redefining reality to your own subjective rhetoric, remember, Obama is the King of such tactics – with his redefinition of terrorism as ‘man-caused disasters’, and ‘war’ as ‘boots on the ground’ (ignoring bombs from the sky)..etc.

Japan invents speech-jamming gun that silences people mid-sentence
Updated: Friday, 02 Mar 2012, 10:05 AM EST
Published : Friday, 02 Mar 2012, 8:26 AM EST
TOKYO (Newscore) – Japanese researchers have invented a speech-jamming gadget that painlessly forces people into silence.
Kazutaka Kurihara of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, and Koji Tsukada of Ochanomizu University, developed a portable “SpeechJammer” gun that can silence people more than 30 meters away.
The device works by recording its target’s speech then firing their words back at them with a 0.2-second delay, which affects the brain’s cognitive processes and causes speakers to stutter before silencing them completely.
Describing the device in their research paper, Kurihara and Tsukada wrote, “In general, human speech is jammed by giving back to the speakers their own utterances at a delay of a few hundred milliseconds. This effect can disturb people without any physical discomfort, and disappears immediately by stopping speaking.”
They found that the device works better on people who were reading aloud than engaged in “spontaneous speech” and it cannot stop people making meaningless sounds, such as “ahhh,” that are uttered over a long time period.
Kurihara and Tsukada suggested the speech-jamming gun could be used to hush noisy speakers in public libraries or to silence people in group discussions who interrupt other people’s speeches.
“There are still many cases in which the negative aspects of speech become a barrier to the peaceful resolution of conflicts,” the authors said.

“Fakegate: The Obnoxious Fabrication of Global Warming”
“About every four years, the United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) produces a voluminous Assessment Report (AR) on the state of global warming science, such as it is. Two years after each AR, the IPCC produces an updating Interim Report.
In 2008, The Heartland Institute, headquartered in Chicago, began organizing international conferences of scientists from across the globe who want to raise and discuss intellectually troubling questions and doubts regarding the theory that human activity is causing ultimately catastrophic global warming. Six conferences have taken place to date, attracting more than 3,000 scientists, journalists, and interested citizens from all over the world.”
http://www.forbes.com/sites/peterferrara/2012/03/01/fakegate-the-obnoxious-fabrication-of-global-warming/
Bemused: the speech jamming gun reminds me of that spat of reporters, 3 in all within a few of weeks, who for no apparent reason began speaking jibberish while reporting live. Silent migraine was said to be the reason.
ET – the infanticide terminology change is definitely a cause for concern. This article was in a medical journal meaning it made it past peer review – very disturbing indeed. In 30 years the concept of morality will be virtually extinct unless this tide of immorality is turned – only sociopaths will thrive and survive in such a society.

Black Mamba, I’m in the same boat as you are, re Andrew Breitbart: I’m quite distraught. His loss is catastrophic.
However, life goes on. He was a powerful mentor and there are others who will carry on his legacy.
God bless Andrew, his grieving family and friends, and all of us who thank God for his life and powerful witness to truth and justice.
To honour Andrew Breitbart, Black Mamba and lookout: “JUST DO A BREITBART!” every opportunity you get!
As for “the 31,000 calls” purporting robocalls before the last election and which represent, according to NDP moron Pat Martin, “the most comprehensive election fraud in Canadian history”:
Blow it out your ear, Mr. Martin. 31,000 calls? Says who? ‘Looks like the CBC was encouraging people to get in touch with Elections Canada just after the election (May 11, 2011):
Do you believe that you received a fraudulent phone call during the campaign or on election day? Did you contact Elections Canada? Let us know in the comments below or email us at yournews@cbc.ca.
http://www.cbc.ca/news/yourcommunity/2011/05/election-telephone-hoax-do-you-think-you-received-false-calls.html
Wow! “Do you believe? …” I’m sure if you believe you received a fraudulent phone call, that means you must have. This is the magical thinking of Moron Martin and his banshees. And, now, the CBC is whipping up more of a frenzy with a current poll.
It’s a wonder Mr. Martin can tie his own shoes if he thinks the 31,000 calls about robocalls has nothing to do with the CBC’s feeding the frenzy. Anyone and everyone who hates PM Stephen Harper and the CPC will be calling Elections Canada to say they “believe” they received one of these calls. Proof please?
The real scandal, comme toujours, is the “election fraud” manufactured by the envious and furious NDP and Liberals. They just don’t get it.
They lost. And they’re losers.
What’s really chilling about this is that I suspect it was engineered just after the election. There’s nothing about this Librano/Dipper/CBC feeding frenzy that’s spontaneous. It’s scrupulously orchestrated and they’ve invited every Harper-hater to “recall” fraudulent calls they “believe” were made to them.
The only good thing about this is to see how scared — no, terrified — the Leftards are of PM Harper and the CPC. They’re desperate to call their legitimacy into question and they’ll stop at nothing, it seems, to discredit the CPC and the best prime minister Canada’s had in decades.
I also suspect that when this plays out the Opposition will end up with egg on their despicable faces. They lost. They didn’t win. They’re losers.
I know it’s a tough pill to swallow for wimps and bullies, but there you are. Suck it up, Libs and Dippers, and try eating a little humble pie for a change. I don’t think it will kill you.
A robocall/cbc story that will make you smile.
Note that the suit names both Martin and the NDP.
