This fatwa does not change anything.Women will still die because of islam and it’s backward ways,but the men at the top will wink and say that they do not approve.

That’s exactly what it is. He also got himself a bit of a bad reputation when he went after Ezra Levant with a human rights complaint, claiming Levant insulted Islam or some such stupid thing. So he has to be squirming now that the Shafias have given Canada an in your face example of what lies beneath the thin veneer of Islamist claims to the contrary.
And you have to wonder where these Imams were following the several other “honour” killings in the US and Canada in recent years, not to mention 9/11 and the proposal to build a mosque on Ground Zero.
Maybe somebody can answer this for me then. Maybe Syed Soharwardy can. Islam has been around for 1400+ years. Why are there still honour killings throughout the Islamic world?

The three Shafia Islamists who have been convicted of murdering four of their family will now be appealing their convictions.
It appears everywhere in the world Islam exists there is trouble, too much of that trouble has been imported through stupid immigration to our Western Democracies.
We have to hope the present government stops further immigration from Islamic states in favour of European immigrants and those from the Commonwealth who have a history with us and live our way of life in this 21st century. People who want to practice ancient tribal practices out of the 12th century will never be good citizens of this country where men and women are equal before and under the law.
When I witness large crowds of Muslims equal in number to those demonstrating against the West and Israel demonstrating in the streets against honour killings, treating women as property and for the freedom to change religions, including rejecting religion, I shall be convinced.

It is an attempt to allow mixing of the sexes in the workplace and schools in the Muslim wonderlands. The thought was that if the woman breastfed her co worker/teacher then she would take on the role of partial mother to the guy in sharias eye which would leave him with only mother/child connotations to their working relationship and there by make it halal for Allah. Certainly an awkward first step toward modernity.
Earlier this year a fatwa was issued from the highest sources stating that it was permissible for Muslims to have sex with dead bodies. And to show that Islam isn’t too gross they stipulated that the dead bodies had to be relatively fresh.
It was intended for bereaved Muslim males losing a favorite piece of chattel and wanting to use it once more before it goes in the ground. It was happening often enough already that it was thought best to codify it in Islam to forestall complaint.
That is the mindset of Islam and that is the mindset growing in Canada.

I’m sure glad we are now almost fully culturally enriched here in Canada. I hope the Canadian Islamic community, will someday be lenient on the Canadian community that has allowed them to squat on our lands and play Middle East without all the sand and camels when they do eventually come to power.
