Visitor #25M wins a Mark Steyn Christmas album…
That said – past experience suggests more than one person will arrive at the magic 25M moment, so the first person to send me proof has first right of refusal. Sitemeter is an imperfect traffic measure.
25 million yells back at the radio just gotta be heard.
Looks like some folks are reloading to be #25M — getting close now, congratulations, Kate!
Congratulations!

OK I’m pushing harder Fred…
Like Merle, long time reader/poster since 2003/04 or thereabouts…
Congratulations to Kate and all the other ‘roadkill’ who make up ‘small dead animals’.
A nice place to pick yourself up when you’ve been flattened.
Psalm 8:2 By the mouth of babes and infants, you have founded a bulwark because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.

Congratulations, Kate & friends! Discovered this blog back in 2004 and have made it part of my regular daily reading.
Thanks for being an open forum for ideas, conversations and debates. Before I found this site, I truly thought I was the only one who cared to SEE what Canadian political correctness and apathy were doing to our country. Regardless of the political stripe, it is uplifting to find that there are people out there willing to discuss issues with substance as opposed to the myopic focus on image that media seems so fervently attached to.
Oh please may I be the one to cast the first “Steyn”?
Cheers

Missed it by that much…

Good job Kate.
Wow,well done. Congratulations Kate.
Revised from 3:00 pm to 11:57 pm to EST !!
Been lurking here since Rutherford brought up the blog years ago. I always enjoy the witty headlines and well thought out conversations.
This community has put me onto many great blogs, but SDA is the one I must read every day.
Kate, can I email my 25,000,000 screen cap to you?
Congratulations on a great blog,Kate,my first internet visit every day.
I wonder why I haven’t seen a message from your close personal friend Warren Kinsella on this post. He must be busy.
Way to go, Kate!
Was following progress this morning, then phone rang. Got back and found I missed by 180.
Checked site on Sunday @ 5:20 pm and saw I was #24,975,000. Thought that was pretty neat, but oh well, no cigar.
Congrats to the winner; and to SDA!
(Stupid pnone call!!) (:~D
Thanks Kate no. I’m here to learn and that’s this blogs greatest asset. To teach. THANK YOU.
Congratulations, Kate!
Great job Kate!
Safari?
Whatever the prize is, it’s too good for this person.
I too have a 25 Mil screen cap!
I’d rather Steyn’s Xmas album go to some lefty troll that lurks in the shadows of SDA. It’ll do those pathetic creatures more good than it will me. We should think of it as charity for the less fortunate.
Cr@p!
I mean, a very sincere congratualations, whoever you are!
(What do I have to do to win a t-shirt around here?)
High Fives, Kate! 🙂

I love this ba- er- blog.
Thanks, Kate! I’ve been reading this blog for years and have recommended this site to many, many friends. A former federal Liberal supporter, I became educated and enlightened via the internet’s access to minds of all political stripes. To me, conservatism represents common sense. As one born and raised in southern Saskatchewan, not far from Delisle, I’m elated by Brad Wall’s transformation of the province from one losing its young and retired people to the jobs generator it is today. I wish for BC a premier like Wall.
Congratulations! You and your moderators do a GREAT job! You often have information before the traditional news sites do. You’re on the bit.
‘Twas someone from Parliament Hill, in Ottawa, that first told me to check out SDA, about 5 years ago, because they thought I’d like it!
There is no place quite like it and many thanks to Kate (and others) for running such a great blog.
Kate,
I won’t multiply the “kudos”. ’nuff said already. My “congrats” go to you! Never done this before but I’m going to get the cheque book out. You are deserving, considering what you provide(have provided)to the thinkers out here, over the years. We pale in your shadow! I simply say thanks for ALL your efforts.
Any like-minded supporters out there?
Cheers.
P.s. just trying to figure out where to put the decimal point!! 25,009,000 is a LARGE #. I’m figgerin’ LARGE div by 50,000 div by 4 (I’ll round down the pennies…I hope my calculator didn’t fail me).
Kate…the address would be…?
Kate,
P.s.
I, for one, have been benefiting from your largess

1b…gifts bestowed.

for too long.

I liked SDA the first time I stumbled across it. That was in the days when I too was yelling at my TV and solved that problem by simply cutting out TV, radio and the whole MSM totally out of my life. SDA is a blog that I visit a number of times daily. Over the years I’ve found that the mystical expressions I got when I mentioned SDA to people have changed to either comments that they read to blog frequently or dismissive comments about that “redneck” site. I’m doing my best to increase the number of Libertarian doctors in Canada — at least now I can openly announce that I’m Libertarian to my colleagues compared having to having to hide my political views 10 years ago.
Times have really changed; Canada now has a government that one need not be embarrassed about, Ezra Levant has gone from editing a small circulation magazine to national exposure, Sun TV is causing Canadian lefty brains to explode en-masse. CAGW is going down in flames, Canada has ditched Kyoto and declared war on watermelons and SDA has been way ahead of the curve. It’s nice to have a spot where Libertarians are welcome and the only negative comment I have about SDA is that it’s too good a blog (ie a major time sink for me some days).
Congratulaations Kate – you saved my sanity during the Dark Liberano Days. God Bless you and the fabulous SDAers who keep this the best blog on the net.
Well done Kate! Thank you.
