I really don’t like pulling a Godwin, but this ad is so creepy. A challenge to all lefty trolls and lurkers: Find me a contemporary (or even old-timey) conservative (i.e. philosophically conservative, from Canada, Britain, the U.S., um… Ireland[?], etc.) equivalent to this thing. The juvenile(ish) rabble-rousing, the encouragement to the faithful to get in there and harass people to their faces, the use of traditional family holiday get togethers as a means to further said harassment, the absolute certainty regarding the worth of The Message without any actual elucidation re. what that message, like, is… the Dear Leader fixation…

What struck me strange was the reaction of a mid 20s Canadian when I mentioned that Obamam was not my choice for president. I was nearly assaulted. The wet behind the ears twit began ranting and raving like a crazy person, calling me a bigot an anti intellectual racist etc etc etc. I then asked for proof that Obambam was what the youngster believed him to be. After and hour of googling academic scores etc to no avail I left the young fellow to do more research. I haven’t heard back yet. Nor do I expect to.
