This makes me believe that the distraction of legal activity and inquiries has finally taken it’s toll on those who were trying to craft a message. This is important because palaeoclimatic studies are an independent source of information on the effects of greenhouse gasses.
Their strong point is that all causes are of whatever nature are automatically included, so one can’t whine about clouds, solar change, cosmic rays etc.
The big problem is that estimates of some of the variables are hard to pin down, so there are big probability ranges.
This study will get lots of discussion, quite apart from the Breitbart type slant.

It’s just another excuse to “shift” the current enviro taxation to another field, without reducing the ones already being credited with “stopping Globull Warming/Change/Economic Advancement. Gotta find new sources to fund public sector pensions.

65 million years of climate change

The atmosphere contains approx. 0.0314% CO2. Carbon dioxide is a trace atmospheric gas. You can double its concentration and it will still be a trace gas. So how can the level of CO2 be high?
High is a relative word. They may have said, ‘Higher levels of CO2 …”. Isn’t proper English taught in publik skools?
Phew! I was really a-feared, now i ain’t feared no more.
One day, we’ll look back and say ‘we put out a bunch of CO2 and the Earth got warmer. And nothing else happened.’
Given that CO2 has been increasing every year but the temperature isn’t (its been down several years, in fact), I can’t see how anyone cuold argue differently.
