Someone has made the emails from the Occupy D.C. email distro public and searchable. The names in the list are a veritable who’s who in media.

At this point the protesters have a lot of anger and know something has gone wrong but they are not educated enough to know what the problem is. Matt Taibbi has identified a lot of the problems but is left thinking and so thinks that capitalism is the main problem and more government is the answer.
Regulatory capture is the biggest problem at this point but it is not capitalism but fascism that is the problem. The solution is less government not more.
Just as more debt can’t solve the problem of too much debt. More government can not solve the problem of too much government.

The woman talking at the beginning of the clip says that capitalism is not working for some people. This point is also a talking point of the gimmi crowd.
Seems in their socialist zeal, they will not admit that socialism failed something gross. It made people universally poor.

How is it then that these people know better, when right in front of their eyes things socialist are going from bad to worse?
And another thing, do they really know what they want. Of course they want free money. They want to destroy capitalism that brought prosperity to more people than any other economic setup.

That the MSM is connected to the “Occupy” crowds should surprise no one. What passes for ideological coherence from these crowds is pretty much what passes for leftist mainstream group-think whether from Academia, Hollywood, MSM, Big Labour and much of the political class. They all have grass roots envy of the Tea Parties but given the motivation of their participants, have no idea of how to replicate it. In total irony, the one legitimate complaint against crony capitalism is undermined by the culpable individuals and organizations responsible for constructing their AstroTurf. These people have no use for liberty and are little more than willing slaves (organized by slave-masters) seeking state dominance to offer them the illusion of comfort.
It is all about Khrushchev’s musing out loud about burying the west and two steps forward, one step back. Because of who, and the group behind him, was elected in the US the radical left thinks the time is right to make an effort to take control. It is about destabilizing and then taking over. Marxism has worked for this opportunity for 150 years.

I had to laugh at the Occupy protests ‘map’ yesterday…Mansons Landing, B.C.? Population of two or so? LOL. This contrived ‘movement’ is MADE for mocking. Beware what you wish for, you just might get it.
