Besides their living in subsidized housing in TO…didn’t this pair rack up $1,000,000 in expenses last year? When PMSH did about $12….?
This family’s history makes me think that they put Olivia CHOWshescu’s mother in that separate room.

Quite a few years ago now, we did some business with a person working for the US Gov’g; junior managerial level,
somewhat defence oriented. The US gov’t paid his way, of course, and he expensed his meals etc.
He would not let us buy him so much as a single drink.

I dot care about the state of their marriage. There are many potential explainations for why there may have been a seperate room….maybe one was used as a general meeting room, who knows.
What I do care about is lying and cover ups. Thats what Mastergate is about. Thats what Chow’s defence is apparently about both post scandal and potentially election night.
As well, the funded trips for MP’s is wrong. Most businesses fund their own. If they cannot justify them them they dont do them. If you are selling to Wal Mart….the Wal Mart team wont let you buy them a coffee or a water even in their own building!
Sure as heck beats all these MP’s dinging expenses or running junkets off sheet. I would support a significant fund to pay for fact finding and other purposes, or that they must be paid from party coffers. But ALL expnses claimed must be auditable by the AG, including the party funded junkets, given that they are currently subsidized. Auditd for correctness and viewable by the public, AG need not pronounce on the appropriateness of Party funded stuff.
Anyway, it is about the lying and the falseness, not whether they have an open or dead marriage.

Why is it legal for unions to pay for the vacations of elected officials, surely that’s a conflict of interest and a threat to democracy thus why is it allowed? Second the biggest spending MP in NS is also an NDPer. Hubby did some serious research on MP spending in NS during the election, one would be surprised at how well our elected MPs live on our dime sans any audits by the AG to boot.

I am -quite- sure that my poor little white bread, middle class brain cannot even begin to imagine the depths Jack’s quiddick has plumbed. A limitation which makes me quite happy, I must say.
