  4. The problem with the discussion so far is that media interviewers only think of asking one set of questions: why do you think he isn’t dead, surely if he weren’t dead, he would materialize and make Obama look foolish?
    Of course that avoids a third possibility, that he has been dead for a long time, and this event was staged for political reasons at this time.
    That will be the actual basis of the new conspiracy theory and it will blend with the 9-11 truther position.
    A separate logical possibility is that the 9-11 truther position is false but that Osama has been dead for some time and that this event was staged for political reasons.
    People in any of these camps are of course perfectly free to call each other morons or idiots since nobody can prove any of the positions beyond any shadow of doubt. I recognize this and simply say I am not 100% sure what is true and what is false about all of these questions. But then, nobody’s relying on me to do all that much other than make internet posts, so it really doesn’t matter what I think.

  11. Say what you want about the NDP but the fact remains that no proof has been offered that Bin Laden died Sunday. As far as anyone knows, he died eight years ago in a cave in Afghanistan. Prove me wrong. GWB knows this and that is why he hasn’t released a statement.

    As for mulcair – this ends his bid for the ndp leadership. If he thinks he’s being Donald trump he’s wrong – there are serious life and deathreasons for not releasing the photos this isn’t a sideshow like obamas birthday certificate.
    Mr Layton is now 61, sure to be dogged by his membership card from the velvet touch, and saddled with most inept caucus a Canadian LLOHMO has ever had. It’s going to be a very long four years and he will likely not run as leader in four years.
    Perhaps Justin Trudeau would be interested in the job…

Easy enough for any intelligent person to do if he did die recently.

    “We have no reason to doubt the veracity of President Obama’s statement,” Dewar wrote in an emailed statement.
    “I understand that the U.S. government has photos, but decided not to release them as they do not want them used as trophies. This is a legitimate concern. We agree these types of photos shouldn’t be used as propaganda tools.
