I wonder how much traction the full beard “Rebels”, most with an amazing comfort zone with RPG’s and AK’s, that fought against “The Invaders” and have links to Ben Laden’s little social club will get. Not much I’ll bet.
And you could observe it early on in Egypt’s “democratic revolution” too. While the hopey-changey types in the West were pre-emptively celebrating the “democracy” because they saw a few people with cell phones in the street and “the young people in the great global social media are going to peaceably change the Middle East”, the fact is there were lots of old farts with beards milling around everywhere, there was plenty of violence on the part of protestors (e.g. arsons, lootings, rapes, killings), followed by attacks on Christians, etc.
It’s a pipe dream, so put down your hash pipes hopey-changers and reconnect with reality.

And the issue isn’t just Bin Laden — there are a gazillion active terrorist/extremist groups in the Middle East, and there always have been long before Al Queda came on the scene (just check out the U.N. and CSIS lists of banned International terror orgs — there are dozens). Ironically, Ghadaffi was one of the earliest sponsors of the Palestinian terrorists going back to the early ’60’s. The contradictions are eight-ply deep.
Ah well, yesterdays terrorists are todays freedom fighters. Right???
Unfortunately in Libya and the entire Middle East – this is just a new foothold for Islamic extremacists and in fact the leader of the rebels admitted that there were many al Quaida fighters on the front lines.
Should the rebels win – guess what????

The first Gulf war he spent mostly in a beer tent.

Just keep this type of reportage in mind with the soon to launch SunTV News as apparently they are getting their Int’l feed from CNN.
What is the outrage here? The suicide bomber gave his life fighting a maniacal regime. He died for freedom and is a hero.
