  11. I watched some news coverage of the protest. Some women in babushkas were holding up signs, and I realized there’s a new type of hyphenated American: Muslim-American. That sort of shines a whole new light on the attitude of muslims in the US, and in Canada.

  19. “Moderate muslims” may very well disagree with using terrorism to achieve the goal of world domination. That doesn’t mean they don’t share the desire to achieve world domination. They simply disagree on strategy, but not enough to condemn anything that helps their cause. If it could be demonstrated that terrorism is hurting their cause, they’d be first to condemn it. One way to demonstrate would be a very firm retaliation.
