  1. Lawyers, creating complexities so they can fix the problems they are involved in initiating and then getting paid very well with taxpayers money for all their efforts. This is yet another make-work project that is siphoning off the financial resources of the common man and lining the pockets of the aristocracy.
    Is there sex involved here somewhere on Ms. Dunbar’s part? Nobody can be that greedy and stupid all at the same time!!!

  5. Hey, there may be something to this. Having spent a lot of taxpayer money taking university courses, someone finally realized that by using reverse psychology on the management, they can get locked out. Get it? Locked OUT! Brilliant!!!
    btw, can politicians join the union or do they have to be convicted first?

  8. With a maximum pay of 6.90 a day those union dues are going to hurt. On the other hand it is job training for the union that represents them.

    Revnant Dream = funniest post but then there is that special group of lawyers who are not good enough to practice but work as apparatchiks inside government, labour unions and the various human rights bodies making everyone’s life so much better.

  11. The Left has simply run out of real human rights issues. They have lost their “raison d’etre” in post-modern society. They are like fishermen who have overfished a particular species to near extinction, so they have to cast the net wider and wider. And if we allow them to do that then the species will in fact become extinct — i.e. genuine human rights based on fundamental Western democratic liberties and a fair justice system will disappear entirely.
    The mental patients will be “running the insane asylum”, as it were. The criminals will be policing the Nation and law-abiding citizens will go to jail.

  13. If our penal system actually worked the inmates would be passing out due to over exertion instead of organizing a union. Who’s going to pay their fees the taxpayer, gawd I really hate progressives. Yes I do I hate them.

  14. Recalling the case of the inmate who sued for pain and suffering because he didn’t get his super-size Nikes immediately upon request, why am I not surprised?
    More and more lawyers seem to be turning into ambulance chasers. Probably law schools churning out too many grads, just like the surfeit of teaching grads.
