  1. I’ve also watched the Beck clip numerous times and have laughed just as hard each time….love it love it love it!!!

  2. Our IT group at work blocked SDA today….
    Bastards……
BTW … when Obama says the word change … he means sh!t…. just train yourself to substitute Sh!t for change every time you hear him… it works wonders.

  3. The Obozo clip clearly shows he is losing his grip on reality.
He layers fantasies and delusions on top of one another . . . kinda sad actually.

  4. Speaking of never surrendering, Jan Brewer was re-elected as Arizona’s governor with 55% of the vote.

  5. Rush should can step off his Lim and take a well deserved baugh!!
Glenn and co are having a well deserved laugh…
Best part Pelosi suggesting they would retain their Congressional MAJORITY!!!
Talk about ‘monumentally out of touch’ with their own country.
How’s it feel to have “We The People” take that gavel away in seismically epochal landslide?
Another hilarious part was the “Democrats can ride in the trunk” after Obama’s “back of bus” comment with the post-racial President overtones wrt to the Republicans.

…”To the degree racial divisiveness is more apparent after 2008, it is largely due to the Obama administration. The president himself called for Latinos to see Republicans as “enemies.” He appealed to racial groups to vote on the basis that the Republicans did not wish them to. He used racially loaded imagery to suggest that the Republicans should sit in the back of the car. He suggested that the Cambridge police, on no evidence, had engaged in stereotyping and had acted stupidly. His attorney general called Americans “cowards” for not wishing to talk about race on his terms. No need to repeat the past racist rants of Van Jones. His Supreme Court nominee gave reasons why a “wise Latina” intrinsically would make a better judge than a white counterpart. And all this came after the 2008 mess with the overt racist Rev. Wright, the “typical white person” slur, and the condescending put-down of the white clingers of Pennsylvania. To the degree racial polarization has surfaced, it has been due entirely to Barack Obama’s modus operandi, saying different things to different audiences, predicated on their race — and whether the comments are thought to remain private and not for public dissemination.”
Good luck with that in 2012…

  6. Kate’s second vid?   Firesign Theatre, right?   I just can’t remember which album it’s from?   Any help?
    .

  7. So, to Obama, the American people are The Enemy and must be conquered by His and His Forces of Good.

  8. Fred said: “The Obozo clip clearly shows he is losing his grip on reality.”
Dude, what grip? He’s been living in cloud cuckoo land since he became a frickin’ community organizer. Maybe his whole life.
You want a strong grip, you go talk to Michelle. That chick can crush walnuts with her butt.

  9. The Churchill video reminds me of how much better Richard Burton was doing the voice of Winston Churchill in the 1960’s TV series “The Valiant Years”. Burton’s rich actor’s tones made every Churchillian phrase seem like the voice of God.
    I loved that series.
And I sorely miss the character of the Leaders we had in those days. Churchill and Roosevelt will long be remembered for their leadership in the most desperate times to ever face man, while the memory of the Boy Who Would be President will one day seem like a bad case of indigestion.

  10. After Bam Bam’s rambling incoherent post whuppin’ address, I hear some wags referring to the great man as “President O-Bla-Bla.
    Curse them the infidels!

  11. Osumashi, I think it would sound better if I said it. Especially if I pretended to be Comrade Joseph Stalin with beeg Rrrrussian excent.
    Democrat Da! Republikan NYET!

  12. OMG, Winnie is drunk. He really is.
    I thought that speech sucked.
    Can I say that?
Sing-song, indifferent — notice the cadences, with all the declines at sentence ends. Shocka.
Obviously it reads a whole lot better.
Obama is mentally ill but came by it honestly (a phrase a shrink once used to console a distant family member). He was RAISED as a marxist. Beyond, say ,age 21, all marxists are mentally ill.

  13. Three great days in a row!
The return of conservatism in the US electoral scene.
Gordon Campbell falling on his petard.
And Jim Prentice, CINO at large, exiting stage left. Maybe now that greentard attitude can disappear from the CPC government, and return to common sense.
Good things come in threes too!

  14. Obama speaks of his accomplishments,if they were to decimate the democRats, racially divide the country, bankrupt the states, unify right minded electorates, empower talk radio,I could go on and on,well…bravo Mr. president.

  15. (Remember now, be graceful in victory.)
Kate, how about a h/t to Louise on Readers Tips- Nov 4, 9:32 AM?
Funniest thing in a long time!

  16. Fred et al, no exaggeration: He’s losing it. People vote his party out of office and it’s just proof to him that they want him to do what he’s doing, harder.
And still he can’t speak without cliches. I’d love to know how he talks to… I dunno, Michelle? “Honey, make no mistake…”

  17. And the most dramatic loser on tuesday night?
    Sarah Palin
She broke the cardinal conservative rule laid down by William F Buckley many years ago “Support the most conservative candidate who is electable”
She backed extremely weak senate candidates who won their primaries defeating opponents who were less conservative but far more electable in connecticuit, Arizona, Delaware and in her own backyard in Alaska.
She cost the GOP any chance of winning the majority in the senate.
And she has lost her reputation for having the electoral midas touch.
And as a result she is even more out of favor with the GOP and almost certainly has lost any chance of being the potus or vpotus nominee in 2012.

  18. Gord Tulk – Obama’s rise is a direct consequence of the ’94 Republicans turn to ” moderation “. When you are a moderate, you abandon principle, and go with the crowd.
Buckley’s rule of thumb leaves the leftmost members of the Republican party as final arbiter in control of the party’s message- never a good idea.

  19. Thanks for posting the Beck piece. Its been a tough two years. I’m not a religious guy, but I prayed about this election. It was that important, and we’re still staring over the edge of an abyss. At least now we have someone who is trying to apply the D(*& Brake! We have a long road ahead of us yet, but a little bit of celebration is not wrong.

  20. Geez, that’s all the repubs needed, more rinos. Why even bother voting? That’s like having to choose between the Ndp,Lieberals or the Greens. The outcome of the election wasn’t a vote for the repubs,it was a vote against the dems, the repubs are still on probation.

  21. When Beck and Pat get going it can get funny. BTW, Pat does THE BEST Al Gore. I’ve almost killed myself driving off the road laughing so hard a couple of times.

  22. Small c:
I completely disagree. The repubs elected a moderate POTUS when they elected GHWB in ’88
gingrich took them back to the right when he won the mid-terms in ’94. GWB was more conservative than his dad but he was a softie with his party majorities in the house and the senate. Again, the buckley rule is sound – we would likely be celebrating a majority in both houses if Palin had adhered to it.
Ditto for conservatives here in canada. It is no secret that PM Stephen Harper has told his caucus that he is trying to run the government on as conservative a trajectory as possible without losing power. A wise course – especially when one considers the alternative(s).

  23. Don’t celebrate too loudly. The Tea partyers may have just given the big “o” the ticket to the White House in 2012. As some pundits are saying, like our Liebrals, he can sabotage GOP efforts and put the blame on them. After all, just 2 weeks ago he was still blaming George.

  24. Black Mamba,Fred and others…..please understand,Ombabals NOT losing it now,he lost it years ago,It’s just now his true colors are showing through. When you are raised by Acorn and the Detroit mob,it is not hard to figure out his hatred for the West

  25. How dare you juxtapose Churchill with the Won. Didn’t you know that Oblamebush sent the bust back to England thereby banning forevermore even the mention of Winnie’s name.
gunny99 don’t take the pundits too seriously. Yes Oblamebush was blaming Bush two weeks ago but then what good did it do him. In two years he can ‘blame’ the GOP except for the fact that the GOP is more accurately reflecting the opinions of the average American. Oblamebush therefore is only reducing the number of people who support him.

  26. Black Mamba:
    In addition to O’donnell;
She backed Angle (arizona) where a chimp could have beaten Reid.
And McMahon in Connecticut where the legacy of dodd and the fake war record of the eventual dem winner should have been a much closer fight.
And most egregiously, she backed Miller in alaska who got trounced by the moderate GOP establishment candidate who even though she had to run as an independent with a write-in ballot (!).
This lack of judgement adds to the list of things that disqualify her as a winning POTUS candidate.

  27. Dabbc…
    ‘falling on his petard’….
funniest thing i’ve read in years!!!
it was a joke weren’t it?

  28. All of those results stick in my craw (esp. the appalling Blumenthal). As I said, she made mistakes. But why was the Alaska result the most “egregious”? Murkowski won; she would have won anyway. Sometimes these things are a gamble; okay odds on the RINO, long odds on the candidate who doesn’t suck. You can’t honestly bame Palin for losing the Republicans the senate majority?
Okay, I have to be up in about 15 minutes, so goodnight all.

  29. Lets Gloat while we can, because we have a hard 2 years of work to cap this surge to Victory.
Its not going to be easy.
It will be worth it though.

  30. Seeing how Rush is being being lauded as the winner of the election, it might be appropriate to review his views on Palin, the Tea Party and Republicans.
    Via the Rightscoop
Rush explains why the Tea Party isn’t embraced by the Republican Party and also talks about defending Sarah Palin to the point that he’s lost his temper in his own home arguing with those who just accept what the MSM says about her.
    http://www.therightscoop.com/rush-defends-sarah-palin-and-tea-party-candidates
    and from mediate:
Rush Limbaugh Joins Palin In Condemning Rove’s Critique Of Christine O’Donnell
    (…)
“If 51 seats was really the objective — if getting the majority is really that important, then let’s go balls to the wall for Christine O’Donnell!” Limbaugh screamed on his radio show today after playing a clip of Rove’s already infamous anti-O’Donnell interview on Hannity last night.”
    (…)
“Everyone I know that saw this was just–they were perplexed and said, ‘What’s going on? Why is he so mad at a Republican?’” said Limbaugh, later adding “Where was this anger directed at a Democrat ever?”

The clip is embedded in the article

  31. There are more robust versions of that Churchill speech. I believe the speech he gave for his radio audience at the height of the “Battle of Britain” is the one that is the most moving.

  32. It must have been hard for him to pick which accent to use – he’s drifting in and out of several

  33. I think too much is being made of Palin backing the wrong candidates. I think she picked who she’d like to see win not who she thought would win.
If you asked me who I’d like to see win the cup I’d say the Leafs. If you asked me who was going to win the cup you’d get a different answer. It doesn’t mean I have poor judgment when it comes to hockey.
She didn’t endorse Harry Reid either and he won. What does that say about her?

  34. Gord Tulk – PMSH is definitely following a plausible, and probably the best strategy. Once he has a majority , he can immediately implement his agenda. Such total control does not come with winning simple majorities in the American system. In the US, it has been a near 50 year struggle with an opposition that has pulled BS of a scope and degree of criminality never before seen in America. In that environmnet, you have to keep your troops together over a long period of very persistent attachs, and a tough, honest, ideologically uniform band can get much more done ( and stop bad ideas more effectively ) than can a larger, wishy washy ” reach across the aisle ” clown car such has controlled the Republicans since ’94.

  35. I don’t know about the accent but he sure sounds strangely similar to Robert Shapiro, OJ’s lawyer.
