3. Well, I quite like Robert Fulford’s column in the Saturday National Post. His daughter’s rag, Toronto Life, is a metrosexual’s paradise. And by writing for the Mope & Flail the son-in-law goes one step futher. But the incestuous nature of Canada’s MSM is undeniable.
   Speaking of fat, I saw outgoing Toronto councilor Kyle Rae on Yonge outside of College Park a few weeks ago. Never seen him before – man what a fat tub o’ goo. But he corn-holes other men and is a socialist, so I guess it’s all good to the “progressives.”

   Kathy isn’t allowing comments but: Yes Kathy I was shocked too, to see that he is on staff at the Sun now. But they do claim to be balanced. Do you get the feeling he likes the dissing that he is getting in the comments section at the Sun?

11. I like Robert Fulford, too. But, c’mon: His daughter becomes the editor of Toronto Life ? What would be the chances of my daughter’s becoming TL’s editor, even though she’s a fine writer? And Fulford’s son-in-law shows up in a number of Canadian publications … he’s no better a writer, in fact he’s far worse, than my daughter.
    Then, there’s Peter Worthington, another writer I like: His step-daughter is Danielle Crittendon, who is married to David Frum, who is the late Barbara Frum’s daughter, etc., etc.
    The CBC’s ubiquitous Linden McIntyre’s son also works for the CBC, and David Halton’s son or grandson does too.
    And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. It would be fascinating to make up a complete list.

14. I’d say Rob Ford is metaphorically carrying too much weight in the campaign, he’s out front and poising to win, it’s a weight his opponents can’t topple.

17. While the media “family” is currently directing their collective shit kicking towards Mr. Ford, I think we’re witnessing what the media strategy will encompass during the next federal election. Look out Conservative candidates the MSM are sharpening their fangs and loosening their bile and it’s headed in your direction. Mr.Ford is simply the warm up act for the MSM whores of the “Liberal/Progressive” media “family”.

18. The real point of the constant conservative smears by the MSM is to prevent anyone of accomplishment from running as a conservative. The CBC and the rest have made it perfectly clear that if you run as a conservative, you will be put through the meat grinder. For Rob Ford, it has started and will not let up until he retires (maybe). This is what the CBC does with $1.2 Billion. I anxiously await SunTV, but a mosquito will never yell louder than an elephant.

19. Never before have we been able to question the CBC motives as much as now what with this internet thingy. Their (our) $1.2 Billion has let them change or set the narrative at will. However, they are backing themselves into a corner by not complying with access of information requests, one sided stories, outright fabrications (wafergate), etc.
    The CBC is trapped and they are doubling down. They will scream bloody murder if even $1 of their budget is reduced. Therefore I say cut them to $0 all at once at the first opportunity. They will scream bloody murder but it will be over quickly.
    I can dream, can’t I.
