“Give honor to the aged” indeed.
Any stocky, healthy male who gets up in the face of, and threateningly yells at, an 82 year old Holocaust survivor, and then says “Obviously he didn’t learn his lesson all that time he was a Holocaust victim” deserves a facial treatment – a rapid series of them, from varying angles.
That’s infuriating. Scum.
Having known many Holocaust survivors and having many friends who are children of Holocaust survivors there is no way I could not smash an elbow into that jerks face. When I was younger the cops would have clubbed him for talking to an 82 year old man like that. The left seems to be emboldened by the fact that there is never any payback for their actions. I’d like to see that change. If that older gentleman was a friend of mine the jerk would be in a wheelchair.
The line that just took my breath away was about half way through and that miserable excuse for a human being says, “…holocaust survivor? Obviously he didn’t learn his lesson…….”.
I could have been on live TV to every house on earth and I still would have flattened the SOB. I’m still $&%&&*^ed now!
Why can’t we just all get along? No really, anyone who cannot understand why building a mosque in such a place is not just grossly stupid, but verging on sacrilegious, is beyond me, and not only is it offensive to Jews, but Christians also, and no doubt is to many Muslims too.
The Holocaust survivor didn’t swear except for once using the word **it. Whenever the illiberal useful idiots are challenged in any way, they resort to profanities and name calling.
Right then, they’ve lost the argument. This confrontation was despicable. WHO is the profanity guy?
Ahh….”Building bridges”. It’s like the mosque builders wanted this to happen./s
Call me weak-stomached if you want but I couldn’t watch the whole thing.
What kind of sleazebag would yell at an elderly fellow- a Holocaust survivor, no less- especially over what will be a bastion of intolerance?
Some people have IDIOT tattooed on their foreheads.
Graham, you clearly didn’t watch the video, nor do you know the US Constitution.
Umm…Uhh…language warning???
So noted.
So ABC is caught red handed trying to manufacture news.
Turns out the “redneck” who “attacked” a muslim taxi driver was another provocetuer . . . . he works for a pro Cordoba House group.

I don’t think you did watch the film, Graham, otherwise you would have noticed a clearly ignorant man bullying an elderly Holocaust survivor, even accusing him of “having learned nothing” from it.
Did you ask WHY that particular mosque is being built when there is a mosque a few blocks away? This was never a religious or property rights issue and those who think it is are deluding themselves.
Graham, (10:34), if you don’t understand it immediately, you won’t ever understand it at all. But let me spell it out anyway:
Dude said of the elderly Jewish fellow,
If he’d said instead, referring to a woman he’d been vigorously disagreeing with moments before on the matter of, I don’t know, a late-night policing issue, “Obviously she didn’t learn her lesson when she was raped” you would probably, I’m assuming, consider that to be a misogynistic statement. If someone said, referring to an elderly Japanese person who happened to disagree with him on a military issue, “Obviously he didn’t learn his lesson at Hiroshima“, I’d like to think that you’d likewise instantly comprehend the true nature of his statement. In this case, though, when some jerk, referring to a man who, like millions of Americans of various races, religionsm and ethnic origins opposes the construction of a Mosque adjacent to the Ground Zero area, says – “Obviously he didn’t learn his lesson all that time he was a Holocaust victim” – you ask “where is the evidence shown that the man (is) anti-Semitic?”
Where is the evidence? I don’t know – it seems to have just disappeared somewhere between dude’s mouth and your cerebral cortex.
The thing I noticed was a number of young men that were all too willing to step in if called for. The reason I know he’s a lefty is you notice how he pushes his face in because he knows he won’t get punched. There are cops close. Grind a toe. Excuse me you were so close I misjudged.
What is most alarming in this video is the extreme polarization the two-party system has wrought on the American people. The progressives are now convinced that with control of the House, Senate & presidency, they are entitled to force their views on everyone, reason be damned; the conservatives cannot believe that their constitution is being re-interpreted on a case-by-case basis and are hard-pressed not to react out of sheer frustration.
The foulmouthed guy seems like the typical leftard who is easily convinced by the MSM that the proposed site was chosen by Muslims to honor the 9/11 victims. No possibility exists amongst the few surviving neurons in his head that it might well be funded by extremist elements as an act of triumphalism, to rub America’s nose in it once again. His view seems that anyone with a different opinion to his own is stupid and un-American.
Watching the parade of useful idiots trotted out by the American media such as Sean Penn, Jeanine Garafalo, Tom Hanks, Barbra Streisand, the code Pink loons, Brad Pitt, ad nauseam just illustrates my point: reasonable debate between the two sides is well nigh impossible, as the left considers the right to be knuckle-dragging morons who want to uphold a 200-year old dead document, and the right is powerless because all they can insist on is having a logical debate.
Graham
Since when did practicing a religion involve strapping on 10 lbs of C4, then committing suicide while killing innocent people? I’m still waiting for an instance of a Jew or Christian (or any other truly peaceful religion) doing that….
Why is it always Muslims? because they are ‘peaceful’?
Graham, New Yorkers peacefully voicing opposition to the construction of a Mosque in one particular spot – *Ground Zero* – isn’t comparable to what the Nazis did to the Jews. What you call a “simple statement of declarative fact – that Jews were persecuted for their religion in the same manner which some factions would seek to persecute Muslims” is certainly *declarative*, but it’s entirely non-factual to the point of being bizarre. Unarmed, non-governmental, non-violent, civic protest/opposition to the Ground Zero Mosque (i.e. to the building of a Mosque in one particular, highly significant location) is not in any way equivalent (“in the same manner”) to what happened to the Jews in Europe seventy years ago.
No one’s rounding up Muslims, putting them into cattle cars and starving, torturing, and murdering them, and no one’s even THINKING about it, let alone TALKING about it or PLANNING for it, so your suggestion that opponents to the Ground Zero Mosque are persecuting Muslims “in the same manner” as Jews were persecuted by the Nazis in Europe is as ridiculous as it is morally odious. Such a comparison isn’t “pretty indelicate“, it’s comprehensively invalid.
Seriously. This whole “well, THIS is just like THIS, eh?” meme is beyond redemption.
The pro-mosque guy is obviously a boor, and a bully. There are times when we all lose it, but the elderly man is trying to keep the argument, if not convivial, then at least within the parameters of common decency. Case closed; the other is without a doubt a rabblerousing, foul-mouthed idiot who wants to provoke violence.
Islamaphobia—by definite an unreasonable, unwarented, paranoid fear of Muslims……
This is nothing unreasonable, unwarrented or paranoid in fearing muslims….when one considers their track record of suicide attacks, genocide, honour killings, female genital mutilation and deliberate attacks upon women and children….even muslims. It is reasonable and logical to be afraid…very afraid.
People! People! Graham is a troll. Don’t feed the trolls. Ignore him completely and he’ll eventually go away when he doesn’t get the attention that he seems to need so badly. Logic won’t sway him nor will argument of ant kind because that’s not what he’s after. He just wants attention so ignore him and he’ll just slink back to his mother’s basement and his computer where he can amuse himself for hours.
This comments section is for adult discussion and not for the feeding of trolls.
The GZ mosquers are demonstrably moral imbeciles…next up we’ll have some spineless wonder advocate a “KKK Cultural Centre” next to the local chapter of the NAACP.
This is in the same league as gravestone vandalism. It is all about the profound LACK OF RESPECT for the dead who merely showed up for work on Sept. 11.
Yes, they are oh so sensitive…well here is another value:
27 “Woe to you, scribes … hypocrites! for you are like white washed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. 28 So you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but within you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.”
Matthew 23:27-28
The GZ mosque is all about triumphalism:
tri•umph•al•ism (trī um′fəl iz′əm)
noun
a proud, often arrogant confidence in the validity and success of a set of beliefs, often, specif., religious beliefs
noun
The attitude or belief that a particular doctrine, especially a religion or political theory, is superior to all others.
The entirely natural interpretation of the GZ mosque is to interpret it as triumphalist in nature and content.
Similarly, announcing that a cathedral or synagogue is going to be built 300m down the street to dwarf the Great Mosque in Mecca; after some politically motivated nutbar used 5000kg of TNT to blow up the Abraj Al Bait Towers in Mecca all the while yelling “My God and or political theory is better than yours!”
It would be a stunning way to anger the locals…but hardly a way to promote understanding. That Katie Couric and the potty mouth don’t get this, demonstrates them to be monumentally stupid.
If one is going to posit that freedom of religion is a fundamental value, you don’t express it by poking a $100 million stick in the eye.

“Rudy Giuliani said Thursday the city would not accept a $10 million donation for disaster relief from Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal after the prince suggested U.S. policies in the Middle East contributed to the September 11 attacks.”
When pray tell is the first church or synagogue going to be allowed by Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal?

I wanted to go through the video and punch that loud mouthed foul mouthed leftwing nut. Of course we rightwingers take the violence and hatred hurled at us peacefully, typical of the tolerance and diversity crowd to act like savages on speed.
The scumbagger abusing the Holocaust survivor…
He reminds me of Jack Nicholson’s character “Johnny” in Stephen King’s “The Shining”. Y’know, “Heeeeeere’s Johnny!”. Particularly in the interview at the end.
He really did remind me of a deranged, evil Jack Nicholson. Even looks like the guy.
Youtube of “Heeere’s Johnny” moment… the resemblance is uncanny!:

I think it would be really great if the piece of Lefty union sh*t screaming at the old man became really, really famous. A household name even.
Such devotion to one’s cause deserves recognition.
