Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

I wish it was possible to divide the country between those who want Obama and those who do not. It has become that simple.
I think those who opt out of Obamaville will flourish. The others will be left screaming their hateful platitudes … until there is nothing for them to eat.
V: spare me your attempts at engaging me in conversation. Idiots like me are only good for trolling, and I hope I have your blood pressure strokingly high. Amazing how easy it is to catch fish-brains with very little bait on the hook. Oh, and how did you like my other little identities… got this thread going for a long long time. 😉
Bush was the real deal like him or not. That trait seems hard to find in the average person let alone a politician.
In the wake of the recent violence in Afghanistan, U.S. intelligence agencies confessed to having warned Native American authorities that an attack was imminent.
Well, too little, too late, fellas. If the so-called “terrorists” had known that Bush was listening in on their phone calls, they probably would’ve called the whole thing off weeks ago. But the Shrub kept it all a big secret, and now hundreds of innocent people are dead – including the so-called “terrorists”.
This was this problem inherent with Bush’s domestic spying program as well. Even if he was actually eavesdropping on so-called “terrorists” and not on working families, the shroud of secrecy surrounding such a scheme wouldn’t discourage any attacks. In fact, it would instill so-called “terrorists” with a sense of confidence that their plotting had gone undetected. Bush may think he’s saving lives by spying on so-called “terrorists” without their knowledge, but he’s really just setting us all up for another Mumbai.
Oh well. When Obama assumed the throne, Bush’s high crimes became a thing of the past…as will that distinctive clicking sound I hear in the background whenever Nancy Pelosi and I are having phone sex.
“It’s apparent that you “troll” this site baiting others to engage in arguments with you, so I’ll bite. ”
It’s not about that, when I read a comment that I feel is spreading misinformation or has expressed an opinion that I don’t agree with and would like to debate, then I post, if I read the blog thread and agree, then I’ll post accordingly, if I have some comment about the blog topic then I’ll post. That’s what constructive conversation consists of, not just adding to the already deafening echo chamber of collective opinion.
“In some way you must agree since Hussein in particular almost daily flouted the UN/International law which you seem so fond of.”
No, I don’t agree whatsoever with the invasion of Iraq. If the US was unhappy with what Hussein was up to they shouldn’t have funded him and directed him to do half the crap he did.
Bush = Class
Obama = Crass
“You have no idea as to the history of the US and the ME do you? Just what you saw in some news clips over the decades right?”
Actually, I have a fairly decent understanding of the history of the ME – especially vis a vis the US component. And I agree that US foreign policy hasn’t been consistent (I’m reading between the lines and ad hominem attacks here).
Oh, and BTW BTJ, my blood pressure is just peachy thank you. Laughter is great therapy and your insistent delusions so obviously documented in the above thread are quite comical. Thanks for the entertainment! 🙂
It’s cool BTJ, sometimes I just like to check. But I was perilously close to reading about this international law you speak of…
BTJ:
Just to respond to your earlier point about the separation of church and state.
The purpose of that clause was to ensure individuals had religious freedom and that the state would not impose an official religion on the populace.
Many of the founding fathers had come from European nations which did, in fact, allowed the state to impose religions.
The reason the US did become the world’s shining beacon is that it did protect an individual’s right to express himself … and much of the truths that the country’s laws have been based on are, in fact, based on Christian values.
Although the phrase ‘separation of church and state’ appears nowhere in the constitution, it has been understood as a protection from a tyrannical state’s imposition of an unwanted religion upon the populace.
For examples, see many failed systems throughout history.
Trolls hijacking another thread. Too bad.
Look at it this way:
You go to the pie shop and realize that you only have enough money for one slice of pie. Then in walks Bill Gates who proceeds to buy all the pies and leaves you standing there completely pieless. Is that fair? Why does he get all the pies? Shouldn’t he be made to share some of his pies instead of hording them all? Socialism says “YES, everyone is entitled to a piece of the pie! For now on, all pie shops will be under the control of The People, and The People will decide how to distribute the pies fairly and equitably.”
Imagine a world where, instead of walking into a pie shop and hoping, PRAYING you have enough money for one itty bitty little piece of pie, you simply put your name on a waiting list for the priviledge to go before a special commitee, who will carefully determine how deserving you are of pie, and will then give you a slice of pie FOR FREE!!!!! Never again will anyone have to pay for pie, and never again will one man be able to horde ALL the pie. No more will people compete to get more pie than their neighbor. Everyone will be entitled to exactly the same amount of pie, with the exception of the People on the Pie Committee, who will get extra pie because they wear party pins.
How do you get a party pin? Well, you have to join the Party, and that will cost you a fee of 100 pies. Then you have to be approved by the party leader, MOI, and I don’t like the shape of your nose. In fact, I think you’re being greedy by coming around and asking for pie all the time when the People are starving in the streets. “I want pie! I want pie! ME ME ME ME ME!!!!” You are putting your needs above the needs of The People, and that just won’t do. Your selfish attitude is harmful to The People, and you’re the reason everyone is starving. It’s because of YOU that there aren’t enough pies to go around. The only way we’re going to make this a perfect Socialist Utopia is if we put a stop to big-nosed, pie-stealing scum like you sabotaging the system! THE PEOPLE MUST BE CLEANSED OF YOUR DISEASE!!!! GET ON THE BOXCAR!!!! NOW!!!!
So the next time some right-wing extemist asks if you’re a socialist, just smile and say, “I like pie”
Blown gasket.
“Short-circuiting the long-established principles of patient negotiation leads to war, not peace.” – Jimmy Carter
On this 99th birthday of the Anti-Christ, Gipper-worshipping dittoheads across the blogosphere are squawking like lovesick parrots about how “Reagan won the cold war”. But history will reveal the real truth – the man who actually won the cold war was none other than the 39th president of the United States, James Earl Carter.
Carter strongly suspected that the Soviet Union might be a bully. From his grade school years, Carter also knew that the best way to deal with a bully is to make yourself very small and hope they don’t notice you. Failing that, offer them your lunch money. Whatever you do, do NOT confront them – it will only make them angrier. Meekly submitting to a wedgie is better than getting a bloody nose. And perhaps in time, the bully will realize you’re no threat and let you pal around with him. Carter applied this policy of détente to his dealings with the Soviet Union.
The French word for “I’m your bitch”, détente with the Soviets was the dreamchild of Henry Kissinger and Tricky Dick Nixon. But it was future nobel laureate, Jimmy Carter, who perfected it to an artform. When the Soviets began rattling their nuclear sabres in the 70’s, Carter cut national defense in order to make us seem less threatening. When the Soviets appeared unmoved by his overtures of peace, Carter offered them an olive branch in the form of the Panama Canal, Nicaragua, Taiwan, Ethiopia, Korea, Yemen, Angola, Kampuchea, and Afghanistan. He was in the process of handing them all of Eastern Europe when he was cruelly tossed out of office by the Moral Majority.
However, Carter’s refusal to confront the USSR set the wheels in motion for its eventual collapse. Lured into a false sense of superiority, the Soviets overextended themselves, spreading their influence across the globe in much the same way the Roman Empire did. If allowed to continue on such a course, the Soviet Union would quietly fade away in just a few hundred years. All Reagan did was speed up the process by forcing the “evil empire” into an arms race.
By standing up to the Soviets and forcing them in to an arms race, Reagan brought the world to the brink of nuclear annihilation. If it weren’t for Sting’s visionary Russians single soothing the tensions between the two world powers, I would very likely be typing this blog from a fallout shelter today. We owe him, and Jimmy Carter, a deep debt of gratitude.
“Actually, I have a fairly decent understanding of the history of the ME – especially vis a vis the US component.”
You don’t show it.
“And I agree that US foreign policy hasn’t been consistent”
You read backwards…I said it clear as day…US foreign policy has been consistent…consistently in-line with the protection of US interests…the greatest of which has been ME oil…once called ‘the greatest prize of all’.
“Oh, and BTW BTJ, my blood pressure is just peachy thank you.”
Don’t be so easily fooled by impersonators. You can trust that I won’t waver from rational discussion.
“Just to respond to your earlier point about the separation of church and state.
The purpose of that clause was to ensure individuals had religious freedom and that the state would not impose an official religion on the populace.”
It doesn’t matter what the reasoning was, all that matters is the result…the Industrial Revolution and the greatest time of discovery and ingenuity man has ever accomplished.
I’d appreciate it if you wouldn’t use my pseudonym in a pathetic attempt to undermine my character.
After reading all these posts one can arrive at only one conclusion, being left really is a mental disorder.
So T has added a BJ to his nom de guerre and come up with BTJ. If I was a Freudian, I would say that is absolutely Freudian!
Ok BTJ, I give up. You are the mostest smartest guy ever in the whole wide world!
BTJ,
Who pays you to post about 50 comments a day on conservative sites?
I doubt you are real.
I mean,
you may really believe some of the things you say but you sound like someone who is paid to act very lefty.
Like people who are hired to go to lefty protests and shout at conservatives, they do not sound or act »authentic».
So who pays you BTJ?
Because obviously you are not here to win the debate but to wear us down.
Just as Acorn people wore down the resistence of bankers to loan money to people who could not afford a mortgage.
Yup your tactic smells of Acorn.
That is why you shift goal post in every comment.
You are not here to debate, you are here to do a job; wear us down.
So who pays you ?
Dear Chuck,
Where was the other 90% Congress, not Bush, allocated spent? Are you implying that a mere 10% somehow plunged the continent into sexual, political, moral, ethical, and economic despair?
Aids and other infectious diseases, like central planning and the Revolution, all spawn like tadpoles on a summer pond. Almost overnight in fact. For the moment however I will pretend that in fact it takes longer, a few weeks, months, years, maybe even decades or centuries, to plunge a continent into such a dismal situation, decades that also saw many Democratic administrations come and go, including the first Negro Bill Clinton.
But for the sake of argument, I will pretend that before the 4 short years or so when what you refer to happened (e.g. Bush) Africa was a paradise of milk and honey that we all craved for. I will also pretend that it did not take months to create and pass the bill to send money across the Atlantic, months before the checks were cut, and months before the first deviant person showed up on the shores of the Dark Continent to say – ‘If you don’t have sex, you don’t have to worry about a bug that will eat away your brain or destroy your kids lives before they have a chance to live?’
Is that what you are talking about? If so then I must disagree. Bush is not responsible for every problem, every depravity, every disgusting situation that exists in the world. I would suggest that you examine the local leaders and morays of the tribe you wish to defend. But I forget, Bush was President. And like Obama, must have been a god to do all that is claimed for his actions. Hell, feel comfortable believing Bush is responsible for all you find wrong in the world, even those despicable factories in Britain 100+ years ago before the man was born. I’m contacting Steven Hawking tonight. We should change the Big Bang theory to the Big Bush.
I have a suggestion. We should spend 0% in the continent and see what happens. Would that please you? It would me and my local school district.
Better yet, lets examine history before Bush was elected and draw conclusions on how pathetic the continent was then. It must piss you off that the hey-day of Africa died over 5,000 years ago with the Egyptians before anyone surnamed Bush was baptized in Europe. You know that time when slavery was prevalent before the USA was created? Ask the Jews if you don’t, they will fill you in. And certainly before the man himself, Bush, twisted arms to send billions of other people’s money that way a few years ago.
What say you? If the continent had developed differently, long before the dreaded white compassionate republican showed up, would your post be relevant?
No, it would not. That Bush is somehow responsible for the depraved condition of the billion souls in Africa is comical. I think you are not laughing.
I miss my brain.
Posted by: BTJ at August 12, 2010 6:31 PM
Too bad you didn’t have an war amps key tag attached to that missing brain, it would have been returned to you.
The total delight of these young men and women seeing President Bush there to greet them should tell the entire story.
Of course that’s why the violent response from certain posters; the visual evidence totally contradicts their world view and narrative. Too bad the evidence does not cause them to reexamine their narratives or wonder why things don’t support what they have been told to believe….
I am nostalgic more every day for Dubya. I think it is obvious that the only thing that occurred in his administration that the country could not overcome was democrat control of congress.
Take any economic chart and start on the day Pelosi took that gavel. From that point on, the descent has been dramatic, and has led us right to Obamaville.
There was a time, back before Bush’s Reign of Terror, when groups of sweaty, Middle Eastern males could chant “Allahu Ackbar” in a crowded airport without attracting so much as a second glance from fellow travellers. It appears those days are long gone. That’s the lesson six Muslim holy men learned in 2007 when they were forcibly removed from United Airways Flight 300 flight for attempting to turn a typically boring experience into a fun-filled and educational adventure for everyone.
No one knows for sure why the passengers of Flight 300 were so nervous about flying with Muslims. It’s truly a mystery. But the whole thing stinks worse than human flesh being consumed by burning jet fuel to me. As an American, I’m embarassed and ashamed for the way the Imams were treated. I imagine they must’ve felt a little like the Muslim passengers of United Airlines Flight 93, whose private moment of quiet prayer was rudely interrupted by intolerant Americans pounding on the cockpit door.
Todd Beamer and his Merry Band of Bigots may have escaped justice, but the nameless John and Jane Does of Flight 300 won’t get off so easy. Lawsuits are currently being filed against those who reported the befuddled Imams to the airport gestapo. It’s not about the money, though. It’s not even about teaching people to think twice before inconveniencing any Muslim travellers who just happen to be gleefully slashing a flight attendant’s throat open with a box cutter in accordance with the Holy Quran. It’s about insuring that all fliers, Muslim and and non-Muslim alike, are treated fairly and equally by everyone, right up until the moment the plane hits the ground.
A few years ago, maybe 3 or 4 you may have seen on the news a video of a young man high on something. This guy stole a bait car. The video showed his wild behaviour behind the wheel.
Seems one poster here is on a similiar trip.
ET @ 6:09,
Because the left lacks the cognitive skills required for independent rational thought.
Their cogntive existense is a sad miasma, an emotional broth of feelings of helplessness and free floating random anxiety.
That angst energy gets projected as hate onto those approved by their ‘betters'(teachers, profs, jourNOlist, etc) as ok to hate. This is reasuring to this overwhelmed-by-reality crowd, they are soothed by the comforting feeling of belonging to a perceieved superior group through hating the other.
It shows itself in abundance in their postings, and their self delusion is working because it is dressed up in the falso guise of superior motives, and so justifies behaviour they otherwise would disapprove of in others.
Ever notice the people in the back ground of a BUSH photo, how natural they look?
I leave for a few weeks and when I come back there appears to be a few new trolls. I thought the rule was not to feed them? Doesn’t anyone follow the rules anymore?
Oh Yeah. God BLESS George Bush, all his wonderful family and those great troops that keep the trolls free to sound off like the scumbags they prove themselves to be.
Chuck and BTJ,
I’m curious; whats the name of the self hypnosis mp3’s that you listen to on your Ipod?
Our family experienced the joyful ongoing results of the real life application BTJ’s pie analogy for 70 years in the Soviet Union.
The trolls here found their issue to beat. They will never try to learn more about the context of all the issues where they believe Bush was a bad, evil man. They will never give him credit for what he has done or the benefit of the doubt for the events he could not control or change. There are excellent posts on this thread defending Bush, but the trolls will not address any of those. They will just regurgitate their talking points, or come up with new ones.
They hate. And they follow. They believe Hollywood’s version of conservatives, Christians and Americans because they are intellectual light-weights with a need to feel superior, and to belong to “approved” groups. They are the losers in the class who weren’t good at anything except being toadies to the bullies as they slavishly cried “like me, like me! I’m cool, too!”
The pockets of sanity in Canada and the U.S., the conservative-and-libertarian-minded souls, do win the day sometimes against. Remember that wonderful feeling when Bush won in November, 2004? It’ll come again. Hang in there.
And Bush is doing just fine. Just seeing his face these days heartens one. I’ve never known another politician to be so at peace with himself, and so NOT in need of the adulation and adoration of the “approved” set. The haters will pass on and history will be good to his legacy.
BTJ,
There is nowhere in the U.S.constitution that refers to “the separation of church and state”.
Nothing. Zero. It simply indicates that the government shall not sponsor a religion. This was in fact to protect religion from the government…..to ensure that government never has ownership over a particular religion.
I think that is a great photo of GWB. It summarizes the man to a “T”. By the way, I believe that lady’s smile is genuine, too!
“Who pays you to post about 50 comments a day on conservative sites?”
I was going to ask you the same thing.
“I doubt you are real.”
That’s right…I’m just a computer generated poster :-S
“So who pays you ?”
Who pays me? Who pays people to write fake, retarded, and oh so unfunny responses using the name BTJ? This is like debating with grade school children. You can call yourself whatever you like, conservative, republican..anything you wish..it doesn’t mean a damn thing when it comes to your views on issues, your philosophy, your knowledge, and your general contribution. If you don’t have an individualist, conservative philosophy, it shines through bright as can be when an issue comes up and you post your thoughts…doesn’t matter what you call yourself, or what a group of people with the same opinion call themselves.
“paid to act very lefty.”
Haha…and what is ‘lefty’?
”
“The total delight of these young men and women seeing President Bush there to greet them should tell the entire story.
Of course that’s why the violent response from certain posters; the visual evidence totally contradicts their world view and narrative. ”
Should it really? The look on the faces of soldiers as they just get back from months in the desert should tell you everything you should know about the person who greets them? That has got to be one of the most ridiculous statements you could possibly have made. Facts are facts, GWB was a horrible president.
” the only thing that occurred in his administration that the country could not overcome was democrat control of congress.”
Right, oh, and those wars, and the looming economic meltdown…oh right, and then there was Katrina…but no, other than that they did a bang up job.
“Their cogntive existense is a sad miasma, an emotional broth of feelings of helplessness and free floating random anxiety.”
I think it’s cute when some of you get really creative and use some interesting language to describe vapid thoughts, but at the same time the thought of the empty feeling of satisfaction you clearly get leaves me with a feeling of pity.
“They will never try to learn more about the context of all the issues where they believe Bush was a bad, evil man. They will never give him credit for what he has done or the benefit of the doubt for the events he could not control or change”
Actually I’ve read a good deal on the US during Bush, what is this knowledge you posses that makes it obvious that he did good? Please, share away…share all these great accomplishments.
“Remember that wonderful feeling when Bush won in November, 2004?”
Wow, does watching an election get stolen really feel that good? Just because your side won? Don’t you find it kind of, well, hypocritical when you bash others for clinging to a group and then the next paragraph you identify yourself with a group?
“Just seeing his face these days heartens one.”
Haha, ann, please, get out more!
“There is nowhere in the U.S.constitution that refers to “the separation of church and state”.”
Those exact words are not in it, no, but the separation of church and state is CLEARLY referred to:
Article Six – ‘no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.’
First Amendment – ‘Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.’
The SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE…what does that mean to you? That the state cannot interfere with religion and vice versa?
The state cannot impose an official religion on the populace.
Individuals are free to practise whatever religion they’d like.
Pretty simple, really.
“Pretty simple, really.”
Ya, to sum it up, the separation of church and state.
Someone with the time to respond to each and every sentence in this thread that he takes issue with needs tells us to get a life?
Let me guess. You don’t even have a job, and are living off of conservative tax payers (fascist capitalists that we are).
Bush is gone. He’s out of politics. We just miss him, the way trolls here no doubt pine for Clinton and would defend everything that man did, down to his sexual harassment of women. Your need to keep putting him down is pathetic.
We miss Bush, and appreciate him, and defend him against left-wing girly men who hates and feels threatened by any conservative guy who hunts, chops wood on his ranch, and is going to watch “Expendables” instead of “Eat Pray Love” this weekend.
Even Julia Roberts would choose Bush over you when the chips are down, girly man.
Liberal men are just so icky.
Judging by his extremist positions against abortion and gay marriage, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that the Pope is a hatemonger as well. Quoting from an ancient text, the leader of the most barbaric religion in the history of the world accused Islam of being “evil”, and “inhuman”. Once again, Catholics have demonstrated that they just can’t get out of the Dark Ages.
Muslims are a deeply sensitive people and their feelings are easily hurt, but Islamist leaders across the world took to the airwaves and beseeched their followers to refrain from acts of violence and instead walk the path of peace. Although the pontiff’s words were reminiscent of Hitler back before he redeemed himself by killing 6 million Jews in an imaginary Holocaust, they were only words and no excuse for harming innocents. Once an appropriate amount of churches had been burned and enough nuns brutally gunned down, Muslims and infidels could co-exist in peace and harmony.
The Pope, on the other hand, seems determined to start a Holy War. His half-assed apology was too little, too late, and didn’t include anywhere near the amount of groveling Muslims have grown to expect from Europeans. Nor did he mention that he was willing to accept punishment for his cruel attack on the peacelove Muslim peoples. Under Sharia law, anyone who even indirectly implies that Islam is anything less than “peachy keen” can only be forgiven once they’ve been decapitated, disemboweled, and then trampled to death by a herd of unwashed goats. The Pope is probably too much of a bigot to accept such an olive branch, but there is an alternative. He could convert to Islam.
I know he’s got it pretty good with this Holy See gig. He’s got a big house, a fancy car, and more money than he knows what to do with. But the Pope should try thinking about someone besides himself for a change.
The meek shall inherit the earth. Turn the other cheek. Do unto others. Love will keep us together. These are more than just Captain & Tennille hits. They are words torn from the pages of the Bible – words that self-described “Christians” claim to live by, and words that were conveniently forgotten when a Right-Wing Evangelical fascist gunned down an emotionally distraught man in a Colorado Springs Megachurch. Colorado Springs is only 823 miles from the George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
“I was praying to God that He direct me,” the proselytizing assassin Jeanne Assam confessed to reporters. “God made me strong.”
How much easier it is to murder someone in cold blood when you have God on your side. It’s the same mentality that encouraged armed Christians to slaughter 4,000 inner city blacks in a little place called Jonestown, just 6,548 miles from the George Bush Intercontinental Airport. It’s the same religious lunacy that sparked the Holy Crusades, fueled the Spanish Inquisition, justified the slaughter of over 8 million indigenous Americans, and kept Touched by an Angel on the air for nine whole seasons.
Christians are supposed to turn their swords into plowshares, but they have instead fused their faith with the NRA and the GOP to create an American Taliban full of gun-toting Bible freaks who quote scripture and open fire on anyone who proudly expresses his burning hatred for the Christian religion. It’s only a matter of time before Assam and her fellow jackboots start going around door-to-door, killing any liberal democrat they can find while Shrub watches approvingly from his stolen throne.
Was the man that Assam murdered mentally disturbed? Perhaps. Did he hate Christians? Who Doesn’t? But did he deserve to be executed by a militant Jesus freak? Absolutely not. In a perfect world, Assam would be locked up instead of lionized. Unfortunately, she has about as much of a chance of being brought up on charges as I have of walking on the moon.
The moon is approximately 238,857 miles from the George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
“Bush is gone. He’s out of politics. We just miss him, the way trolls here no doubt pine for Clinton ”
So you’re perfectly content with being on the same level as liberal trolls? You’re no different, you just pine for a different status quo supporting tool. You still identify with a collective, you still cling to that collective for strength. Conservative does not equal individualist.
A REAL individual and a REAL conservative would see that the last 4 decades of US government have had the same agenda, to support the status quo and protect the interests of that status quo. US policy has been very stagnant and homogeneous no matter what party hold the presidency.
BTJ, you are hilarious! ROTFLMAO!
This is part of some comedy project, right?
Just for Laughs, Comedy Central or something, right?
Do you have a website?
Please, rant on!
I’m proud to be no different from Bush supporters, in that I supported and like GWB.
“Collective”? Nope. That’s lib mentality. Conservatives agree on somethings and disagree on other things without hating each other. We can have lively discussions, disagree about something, and walk away still friends, because our sense of self does not depend on the approval of others. We like ourselves. We’re true individuals. GWB is like that. He was decent and classy in his behaviour, even to his political opponents who vilified him constantly.
You, on the other hand, would never dare to utter anything outside correct liberal-think. Wanna be a brave dissenter at a liberal wine-and-cheese party? Say what’s deep in your heart about, oh, a 40-yr-old man dating a 16-yr-old boy. Go on, try. As Kate said before, “Everyone’s a liberal until some 40-year-old guy is taking YOUR son to the prom.” Or say that you think abstinence is not a bad idea to encourage in young teens. You wouldn’t dare to face the disapproving silence and the cold withdrawal.
You lefties self-censor so you can be in the cool crowd. You’re cowards. You’ll let the fashionable minority of the day, be it the LGTB crowd or an ethnic minority, utterly overrule what you feel deep inside just isn’t right.
I used to be one of you. I know you. And I’m liberated from you.
I know we are told not to feed the trolls but this BTK thingy seems to feed itself. It’s nice to see the genuine reactions from the soldiers seeing Bush. The funny part is the trolls guy wouldn’t even cross the street to spit on them, unless they are white, then he might make the effort.

If you hate Christians and reject Christian tenets, why do you pretend to use them to support your argument?
I have no problem admitting the great majority of human beings fall short of meeting the standards of any moral code.
That does not mean Christianity’s tenets are wrong. It just demonstrates the difficulty of self-control and the failures of humanity.
As Bob Dylan sang, don’t criticize what you can’t understand.
BTW, I’m unsure where I could look up and learn the moral code you live by. Could you help point the way? In the spirit of trying to understand where you’re coming from
I miss W too.
There is one thing that the Obama’s will never have that W & Laura have in abundance……….
Class.
“”Collective”? Nope. That’s lib mentality. Conservatives agree on somethings and disagree on other things without hating each other.”
Haha…right…no collective, yet you identify yourself with some group you define yourself and call ‘conservatives’. Having a collective mindset has nothing to do with agreeing, disagreeing, hating or not hating…it’s about identifying yourself with some collective identity…which is rampant here.
“Posted by: BTJ at August 13, 2010 3:25 PM”
That’s clearly not this BTJ genius…if you can’t tell the difference between my writing and that nonsense then you clearly aren’t reading and processing very much, rather you’re just reacting.
“There is one thing that the Obama’s will never have that W & Laura have in abundance……….
Class.”
Haha…riiiight…cause it takes class to pick your nose and flip tv camera’s the bird…oh, and the classiest behavior of all has got to be the mispronunciation of any word that isn’t in the average 10th grader’s vocabulary. Ya, Bush is a classy fellow alright…the silver spoon fed, rich boy, do nothing and always get by class.
flip tv camera’s the bird
“tv camera is the bird”??
I is a genius. Can suck dick now on dead thread?
BTJ,
Since despite all your effort you have not managed to convince ANY of us that Bush is undeserving of our respect, I guess BTJ stands for,
Blew The Job ( you were sent to do )
Blow?
Job?
YES, my favorite!!
Cans I blow you?
Ah, it’s like I’m in grade 9 all over again!
Quite the dead thread if it’s still getting posts. I get a bit of a kick out of the fact that a thread on GWB gets lit up when the obvious is stated, I am a twat.
Once again regarding Ayn Rand…do you honestly think that she would be anything but sick to her stomach if she viewed this blog and saw that her work was being mixed with this crap?
