  1. C’mon they saw Me-celle Obama first. Granted it was from 37,000 feet looking down on a beach in Spain. But they did see Me–celle Obama first.

  2. How different is Bush from Obama and his “Pillars”?
No wonder the Dems are trying to restrict military absentee ballots.

  3. How can you “miss” W? With the continued bankster bail outs, protracted overseas military entanglements and the constantly running printing presses at the mint, it’s like he never left.

  4. 1) Banks are paying back money lend them in the last year of Dubya’s regime and will continue until debt to the American public is paid in full.
    2) “Iraq is a war of choice. Afghanistan is a war of necessity.”
    — Barrack Obama.
    3) Dubya has not been in charge of the printing presses for 20 months.
So, Bill, do you have any other bogus points?

  5. I didn’t agree with a lot of things Bush did, like deficit budgets and Iraq should have been dealt with differently, but I have always believed him to be a man of principles and values.
Of course, Obama is also a man of principles and values, few of which I share.

  6. Unh uh, you’re all missing the point….
GWB has character unlike the current crypto communist occupying the position at the moment.

  7. GWB is a worthless piece of sh1t…to even foster any notion that would imply otherwise is a symptom of an ignorant, delusional mind.

  8. I’m thinking Bill regrets getting that “Hope You Can Believe In” tattoo.
Real bummer showing you were suckered by Obozo.

  9. Cross-posted at The Anchoress this morning:
President Bush and Laura: true patriots who really care about the troops. George W. was a real Commander in Chief, unlike Obam-bam who seems to resent this presidential role, as he peremptorily salutes his guard when emerging from the presidential helicopter and seldom “graces” the American troops with his sartorial splendour.
Obama seems to like the perks of the job but not the substance.
    ‘Wrong priorities, Mr. President.

  10. Noone who reaches the office of the President of the United States can possibly have honor or integrity. Only the dirtiest, most corrupt of the corrupt would ever be allowed to win this position. Bush spent his days as a republican President tempering and compromising his Conservative principles on the altar of political correctness and corporaty toadyism. he never saw a conservative principle that he wasn’t willing to abandon. Kate quotes that appeasing your enemies does not make them your friends. The Bush regeme was one of unadulterated appeasment to the left and to word bankers. As a conservative ( a defender of freedom and individual rights) he was an abject failure. As an illuninati stooge, he was a smashing success.

  11. Former Pres. Bush takes time to greet 150 troops returning from Af-stan … whereas sitting Pres. Obama can’t even be bothered to go to Arlington Military Cemetery on Memorial Day to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers, an 85 year old annual presidential custom.
Obama went home to Chicago for a 2 week vacation instead. No commemorative activities took place their, either. (Maybe a BBQ with his terrorist friend Bill Ayers, instead.)
What that does is to encapsulate Obama’s real feelings about veterans, fallen or otherwise.

  12. Miss W do you?
Here you go….”Islam is the religion of peace and is awesome. Muslims are real straight shooters.”
    Feel better now?
Bush was a true friend of his Saudi brethren and spared nothing to shield Islam from criticism. Some hero you have chosen to miss.

  13. Bushies, Neo-Cons, Birthers, Tea Partiers, Glen Beck fans, Morons of all stripe, You didn’t get mad…
You didn’t get mad when the Supreme Court stopped a legal recount and appointed a President.
You didn’t get mad when Cheney allowed Energy company officials to dictate energy policy.
You didn’t get mad when a covert CIA operative got outed.
You didn’t get mad when the Patriot Act got passed.
You didn’t get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us.
You didn’t get mad when we spent over 600 billion(and counting) on said illegal war.
You didn’t get mad when over 10 billion dollars just ‘disappeared’ in Iraq.
You didn’t get mad when you saw the Abu Grahib photos.
You didn’t get mad when you found out we were torturing people.
You didn’t get mad when the government was illegally wiretapping Americans.
You didn’t get mad when we didn’t catch Bin Laden.
You didn’t get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed.
You didn’t get mad when we let a major US city drown.
You didn’t get mad when the deficit hit the trillion dollar mark.
You didn’t get mad when Goldman Sachs committed massive fraud and then received billions in bailout money.
You finally got mad when.. when… wait for it… when the government decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick. Yes, illegal wars, lies,
corruption, torture, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, are all ok with you but helping other Americans… well f#@k that. That about right? You know it is.
You people have all lost your f@#king minds. You are selfish, greedy, obnoxious, narcissistic, and frankly… stupid. Your pathetic little misspelled protest signs are embarrassing. Maybe you ought to find the smart person in your midst and let them make up all the signs, cause man, you look like a bunch of idiots. Also you’re ugly and your mother dresses you funny.

  14. Amazing how this post brings out the spittle flecked lunatics.
Go back to that bug lamp for bozos, Huffpoo, and join the circle jerk.

  15. LEO:
What proof do you have anybody else has lost their minds?
    Why do you name-call?
First one to name-call loses the debate. You do know that, don’t you?

  16. So set you free – I guess the losers of the debate would be you caused by Leo Debris.

  17. heh – I like that last statement of ‘Leo Debris’ that ‘you’re ugly and your mother dresses you funny’. I think that sums up, in total, the mentality of Leo. And others like him on this thread.
I think that Bush’s war in Iraq, which was a coalition of many nations, not just the US, was the most important act of the last decade. It acknowledged the reality of Islamic fascism, acknowledged its cause (internal tribalism) and sought to remove that cause by enabling the population to move into a middle class political and economic structure of democracy.
Acknowledging the dysfunctional tribal nations of the Middle East was a truthful analysis – miles above the ignorant sophistry of the left that ‘they attacked us because they are poor, or because we were imperialists, or because we ignore their religion or..’.
Obama, of course, is harming the results of this Iraqi War (the enabling of democracy in the ME) by his ignoring the democratic demonstrations in Iran, by his enabling Iran to get a nuclear weapon and enabling its imperialist ambitions in the area.
And – Obama is destroying the capacity of the Afghan people to move out of the power of the tribes, with his hodge podge Afghan agenda.
We miss Bush. He was and is, an honest and principled man, who unlike Obama, cares deeply for Ameria.

  18. It seems BDS is still a major malady amongst the leftoid population. I just hope Obamacare will cover the treatment of this obviously long term affliction.

  19. B.D.S. will endure as long as there are “the vitimized”; “the I want you to do what I want”; “the I want, I want, I want” “the people who will move to the back of a group, when things become difficult, unless money is being paid at the front; Cheers;

  20. BTJ,
Bush only pretended to be an idiot, so he could fool all of you.
    And it worked damn well.
    Pretty clever of Bush don

  21. My bad set you free. Didn’t notice that you have directed that to Leo Debris brain.

  22. I miss W, too. And Laura.
On a side note, Rush Limbaugh has taken to calling Michelle Obama, “Moochelle”………mwahahahaha!

  23. W, for all his faults, is a class act and truly loves his country. He’s not running for any office, not seeking any personal gain; he did this out of his love & respect for the soldiers he once commanded.
Obama? You’ll never see him do something like this either as president or as a former president. It would take too much time away from his golf game or hobnobbing with celebrities. Even if he did, I’d bet the troops won’t be smiling the way they still do for W.

  24. Contrast ET’s logical and articulate analysis of the subject with the semi-hysterical, hate-filled rant graciously provided by LEO DEBRIS.
A first-time visitor to the site would have no problem determining just who have their heads on straight and who has a couple of wires that only touch occaisionally within the cranium.
DEBRIS neglected to include the preferred labels of “racist” and “redneck” in his tantrum. These omissions, however, were probably due to forgetfulness rather than good sense.

  25. To the leftards,
Off the top of my head,
You didn’t get mad when ACORN committed massive voter fraud and when the Obam campaign refused to publish their list of contributors unlike the McCAin campaign who published it on CBS.
You don’t get mad when The New York Times revealed sensitive information that helps terrorists.
You didn’t get mad when Echelon was passed by Bill Clinton. ( being leftards you probably have never heard of Echelon… )
You don’t get mad that Obama lied about stopping war in Afghanistan and/or Irak, his campaign was based on being the PEACE president…mad yet?
You don’t get mad when Obama is still spending Billions on two wars and has recently sent 30,000 additional troops.
You don’t get mad when every week a Democrat is caught stealing money. ( I could fill this page with about a hundred links )
You don’t get mad when you see humanitarian workers having their heads chopped off by barbaric medieval terrorists.
You don’t get mad even though you know many nation are REALLY into torturing people( North Korea, Afghanistan etc…Remember the Female CANADIAN journalist whose body was found in Afghanistan without finger nails and many other undeniable evidence of torture ?).
You didn’t get mad when Clinton trough Echelon was illegally spying on regular Americans.
You DO get mad when we give the death penalty to murderous monsters.
You don’t get mad when you see terrorists completely ignoring the Geneva convention or allowing the Red Cross to visit prisoners.
You didn’t get mad when it took over 3 months for Obama to even blink an eye about the gulf oil spill, and when he blocked most solutions to the spill and when you learned he received massive amounts of money from BP.
You didn’t get mad when UNDER A DEMOCRAT CONGRESS, SENATE AND WHITE HOUSE the deficit hit the trillion dollar mark.
You didn’t get mad when Goldman Sachs committed massive fraud WITH THE HELP OF POWERFUL DEMOCRATS and then received billions in bailout money THAT THEY THEN SHARED WITH DEMOCRATS SUCH AS OBAMA.

  26. Friend:
Thanks for that list. Saved me a point-by-point response.
I was going to point out the trillion-dollar deficit is a recent phenomenon and that Wall Street was one of the main supporters of the Obama campaign. Having said that, much of the Wall Street bailout has been paid back.
Facts are the best way to uncover the truth.
One thing you missed though. Obama promised to close Guantanamo back in January, did he not?

  27. Set you free,
You are right I forgot Obama lying about Gitmo.
the list of things Obama promised but did not deliver on is so long, who can remember everything!…

  28. Bush will forever be known as the most hated President in US history.
A President so hated that even his own party didn’t dare mention him (and largely still doesn’t mention him) for fear of harming its continuing survival.
He will also be known in history as the man who turned the largest surplus in history into the largest deficit in history.
    And that’s about it.
Oh yeah…and choking on a pretzel while drunk. Finis.

  29. Chuck – were you there? How do you know he was drunk? This is typical of leftards – lies and innuendo.
You conveniently forgot to mention that the Congress who ultimately decides on spending was controlled by Democrats.
AND – the most despised and incompetent President in US history is none other than Jimmy Carter. Yes – the anti-semite Jimmy Carter.
Thank God Reagan came along to rescue America’s power and dignity. Oh yes – Reagan the REPUBLICAN.

  30. An now Obama has proposed a deficit larger than the combined deficits in the entire history of the US.
    Congratulations. What an alternative!

  31. chuck wollery
[…….He will also be known in history as the man who turned the largest surplus in history into the largest deficit in history……]
    OK……..explain—OBOZO’s stimulus doesn’t count?
    BDS…….

  32. From Moe Lane @ RedState http://www.redstate.com/moe_lane/2010/08/12/agreed-gibbs-obama-is-not-bush/
I am forced to agree with him. Barack Obama is not like George W. Bush.
It’s important that a distinction be made between the two men, in fact. So we at RedState have put together a list – a non-exhaustive list – explaining just how the two are different.
Why the President is nothing like George W. Bush.
    * George W. Bush didn’t blame his predecessor for his own failures.
    * George W. Bush can throw a pitch.
    * George W. Bush believes in American exceptionalism.
    * George W. Bush set policy.
    * George W. Bush showed respect and courtesy to the opposite party while President.
    * George W. Bush didn’t let his appointments set policy.
    * George W. Bush doesn’t whine.
    * George W. Bush went out and did the things that he said that he’d do.
    * George W. Bush has a thick skin.
    * George W. Bush faced down a hostile Congress on issues that mattered to him.
    * George W. Bush doesn’t give a… flying leap… what the polls say.
    * George W. Bush could make, and take responsibility for, tough decisions.
    * George W. Bush didn’t take credit for other people’s work.
    * George W. Bush never had to remind anyone that he won.
    * George W. Bush had principles.
    * George W. Bush defended them.
And last, but certainly not least:
    * George W. Bush doesn’t bow.

  33. Bush never complained about the anti-right main stream media that plotted against him and lied 24/7 about him.
Obama complained numerous times about Fox news, even though 99% of the main stream media is covering is a**, not to mention the MSM lied and concealed evidence to help elect Obama.

  34. What is even more heartening than the pictures are the comments there.
I guess it is not at all surprising that the trolls have not left messages there. The left is probably unaware that such a fine organization like the USO even exists.

  35. Books and movies were made in which Bush was being assassinated.
The left celebrated those piece of sh**.
Bush NEVER EVER complained – not once.
Hey leftards, find me something comparable with Obama!

  36. The night of the Fort Hood shootings, President Bush, with the former First Lady, drove his own vehicle 75 miles to visit the wounded in the hospital. Meanwhile Obama was yucking it up a conference, giving a ‘shout-out’ to some fellow socialist before he briefly mentioned the atrocity. When word reached the White House that the Bushes were on the Fort Hood base, the White House asked them to leave, because it would make Obama look bad.
After the invasion of Afghanistan Bush curtailed his golfing to almost nothing as he felt that he should not be enjoying himself while American soldiers were in peril. Compare that to Obama’s recent golf schedule and his ‘date nights’ in New York that cost taxpayers millions of dollars and shut down vital airports and traffic arteries.
One is a public servant and the other is the American Sun King.

  37. bob:
I guess the point chuck is trying to make is a logical consequence of our times.
Seems to me there’s a lot less tolerance by the ‘enlightened’ left of anybody unlike them.
That disrespect of anybody unlike them naturally leads to an intensified level of hatred.
Like my mom used to say … when you hate somebody, you only destroy yourself.
Very true in the case of BDS.
Hatred and intolerance have destroyed any gifts of humanity the practitioners of BDS were born with.

  38. Wollery – sounds like you might be having copious beers and pretzel right now.
    keep drinking the cool-aid.
BTW – “look it up” where? On Huffington?

  39. God bless George W. Bush: he’s a class act all right.
Class acts come in all varieties, but part and parcel of Bush’s integrity is his strong Christian faith. Like One before him, he’s remained silent in the face of the most barbaric and mean-spirited attacks. His grace and maturity make Obama look all the more like the petulant, spolied brat-baby he is. God help the USA.
And God bless George, Laura, and America!

  40. chuck:
It’s been nearly two years since Dubya had his shot at president.
    Get over it, already.
I’d hate to see you destroy yourself with unnecessary stress.

  41. Man I can’t wait tell the wee children are back in school & off of the Computer at least 6 hours a day.
    Teenage mutant progressives drones.
    Even their pimples match.
    JMO

  42. chuck:
Talk about him all you like.
Just don’t get too wound up about it.
For your information, you are no better than anybody else here.
Exchange ideas, be respectful, be civil. That’s the tone here.
Your last statement suggests you believe in your own superiority. Too bad.

  43. You didn’t get mad when the Supreme Court stopped a legal recount and appointed a President.
    – They had every right to do that. Oh and you did know that every recount following that by the most partisan people around never resulted in a win for Gore in Florida. You did know that right?
You didn’t get mad when Cheney allowed Energy company officials to dictate energy policy.
    – Of course not, there is nothing illegal or particularly special about it. This sort of thing is going on right now on a massive scale in the Obama White House. If you are upset by Chaney doing it why aren’t you all over Obama for doing it?
You didn’t get mad when a covert CIA operative got outed.
    – No because she wasn’t a covert operative and the Democrat in the State Department who outed her never suffered a moment of prosecution, but Cheney and his staff where harressed night and day about what a Democrat who was known to be the source by the investigator, leaked. So yes I am mad about the media’s false reporting and your smug false knowledge of this.
You didn’t get mad when the Patriot Act got passed.
    – Many people did, but you should know that the patriot act was every wish list item of every security agency for the last 20 years. They tried to get the same stuff passed under Clinton and only failed to do so because of the Republican outrage over to it. So the security agencies not the Republicans used 9/11 as a reason to fast track it through. And even there most of it is nothing particularly bad just updating stuff, most of what I see spouted about the evils of this are actually false urban legend type myths when examined.
You didn’t get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us.
    – Guess what we can do that any time we want. The president can launch an invasion on any country he/she wants at anytime, and if congress approves it then we have an official war, if they don’t then we get a police action like Vietnam. In this case Congress approved the war. So what is illegal about it?
You didn’t get mad when we spent over 600 billion(and counting) on said illegal war.
    – What illegal war, and yes people have wanted better over site of it but thems the breaks when you are at war.
You didn’t get mad when over 10 billion dollars just ‘disappeared’ in Iraq.
    – Of course people are annoyed about it.
You didn’t get mad when you saw the Abu Grahib photos.
    – What of course people didn’t get upset about the government why should they. It was a case of idiot people in the prison itself being stupid idiots. As soon as the proper authorities where notified they got rounded up and arrested. So what was to be upset about?
You didn’t get mad when you found out we were torturing people.
    – No this is special why? The entire world does it. At least we try to do it minimally and with as little physical harm as possible compared to pretty much the rest of the world.
You didn’t get mad when the government was illegally wiretapping Americans.
    – This has been going on since the 70’s. Were have you been? Living with your head under a rock?
You didn’t get mad when we didn’t catch Bin Laden.
    – No that was never a big deal and if it is a big deal why aren’t you marching on Obama to insist he do it?
You didn’t get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed.
    – Not familiar with this one but figure it was spun to the most negative it could be since it is on this list.
You didn’t get mad when we let a major US city drown.
    – Yes I did, at the Mayor of the city who let it happen that way and at the State of Louisiana who didn’t respond at all. Absolutely not at the US government and FEMA. FEMA isn’t a first responder. It is their place to show up 1+ weeks after a disaster and help pick up the pieces. It isn’t their place to do anything at the time. That is the place of the city and state who completely screwed up on it. Look at the rest of the area that was hit as hard or harder and they got up and recovered.
You didn’t get mad when the deficit hit the trillion dollar mark.
    – Yes most people did, they thought Bush was an absolute idiot for listening to the advice to bailout the banks and wall street. By the same token Obama has been doubling down and tripling down on the same mistake. Complain to the current occupant for following the same bad economic theory that Bush did.
You didn’t get mad when Goldman Sachs committed massive fraud and then received billions in bailout money.
    – Yes people did, you clearly didn’t pay attention. Public opinion was 70 – 80% against it when congress passed the bailout. That doesn’t sound like people didn’t get mad to me.
You finally got mad when.. when… wait for it… when the government decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick. Yes, illegal wars, lies,
    – Why yes we did, because the medical screwing that Obama and the Democrats passed don’t do what you just claimed. It will instead directly result in poor care, more people dieing etc. IT will do nothing to help improve medical care. Oh and in the US you have always had the right to go to the emergency room and get treated even if you have no money. Never needed it. One reason that an hour of care in the emergency room is billed at like $23,000.00 because the hospital has to recapture the money somewhere. And the private pay who can pay gets to pay for all that ‘free’ care.
I clearly judge that you haven’t been paying attention if you believe the list you posted.

  44. From the George Bush wisdom feed
George W Bush : Haven’t we already given money to rich people? This second tax cut’s gonna do it again.
Didn’t we already, why are we doing it again?… shouldn’t we be giving money to the middle?
    Rove “Stick to principle”
Bush — man of wisdom Rove — man of principle

  45. Wollery – I just need to clarify something. You said Bush is the most “hated” President in the history of the US. How do you equate “approval rating” with “hate”?
I don’t approve of Obama’s job performance but I don’t hate the guy.
Hate seems to be in the domain of the left. So much hate there.
