I think Kate with this picture. you caught more of the essence of Obama than anybody has thought of till lately. Until certain stories are now surfacing. Time will tell if its slander or not. Frankly I don’t trust either side for backbiting.
If these tales turn out true. It would explain a lot of his/her behavior to date. Who knows , one guy thinks they don’t celebrate birthdays because Muslims don’t.
One thing though. Michelle has revved, the car up over the cliff with this stunt.

I am hoping for a “Velvet Revolution” but that may not be an option….
My cousins presented the Gospel to the Marcos’ when they were invited to their Hawaiian residence and Emelda accepted the Lord. Ferdinand made a commitment but only God knows if his heart was changed.
Things can be put in order. There is always hope…for change…real change, heart change.

The photo-shopped image is clever and gets the point across without stooping to the personal insults the intelligence challenged members seem to favor. The crass personal attacks are no different from the “Bush bashing” the same people no doubt found insulting.

Why are you surprised? Expendable doofus has completed his task. His election was not something he controlled, moreso re-election.

It has been so badly handled. Is the entorouge of friends and their hotel rooms being paid for by the Obamas, the taxpayer or the individuals or some donrs? It is such a weird thing to do, not the vacation but the hangers on.
When the Pres travelled to g20,,,any US pres, arrives with an entorage of almost 1,0000 people. That is aides and security, security being the largest group. The first lady obviously needs some security, but as I said, it is the hangers on that amaze me. I dont begrudge her travel, or a vacation with her daughter. I dont even begrudge her going to someplace “exotic”. But the scale and the publicity are enormous and so out of whack.
Nouveau riche, for sure…..compensation for something else…we can only speculate. But as roger simon said, it is so tone deaf it borders on self sabotage. Has he really given up….or has Michelle and therefore he will as well.
But wait for the mortgage bailout that is coming down the pipe….god help us.
Stephen, re: the mortgage bail out, the White House and the Dems are backing away from that one with their foot to the floor.
Seems that some uber-genius spinmeister figured out giving away three million houses to three million deadbeats wasn’t going to play well with everybody else who still had to pay their deeply under water mortgages.

I forget which blog I read it on (here maybe?) but it was pointed out that the Bushes vacationed almost exclusively in three places: Camp David, Kennebunkport ME, and Crawford TX. If Laura Bush had ever jet-setted off to some 5-star European resort and had sections of public beaches closed off for her & her cohorts, the media would have roasted the Bushes alive.
It’s hard to believe the Obamas really are so utterly ignorant to the kind of image they are expected to present as the President and First Lady of the United States. Yet the evidence just keeps piling on, day after day, week after week, month after month, that these people are celebrities first & foremost, completely unconcerned with being effective leaders and representatives for the American people, and that the media is so far in the tank for them it’s beyond belief.
And to think his term isn’t even half over yet.
Ian, I think its more that Michelle is pretty clear that Barry is going to be a one-hit-wonder, and she’s going to party hearty like its 1999.
And seeing those calluses from all that batleth practice in the White House gym, who’s going to argue with the Klingon First Lady ?
I have to wonder if Barry even knows she was gone for a week. Call me crazy, but he just doesn’t seem like a one woman man, especial when that woman is meaner than a junkyard dog and could bench press a Buick. He could be running a full-on John F. Kennedy Camelot-style 24/7 orgy in there and the MSM wouldn’t say Jack.

Please link up on the back down. That would be a huge relief because it was another disaster. Perhaps it was a trial balloon, perhaps it was the worst case so they can bring in something else that looks “reasonable” by comparison.
I still worry that Obama really doesnt care if he gets elected in 2012 so anything is possible if he is on a one term mission.

Possibly in the wake of her “husbands” political career and the state of their economy – She should maybe travel down to Louisiana with her daughter along with a shovel and pail and start cleaning up beaches!
It’s called leading by example – but they know that don’t they?
Instead, the radical Obamba’s would rather act in line with “Goddamned America” and scream about social injustice, while the country falls racially and economically apart. Instead of addressing the mess like actual leaders of the most powerful country in the world they take lavish vacations. I forget how many vacations this Kenyan dictator has taken since he took office 1 ½ years ago, but it’s more than 4+. How many vacations have you had during your last two years of employment?
