  1. What the heck happened to Louise Simard? Wasn’t she a “family” person?

  2. my neighbour was showing me snaps of dwain in her home at some ‘do’ 20 years ago or more….my neighbour is an old lower echelon NDP saskabush apparatchik…still kinda a true believer….but a good neighbour withal…
i do my best philosophically but she IS getting on…and i don’t suppose she could withstand a serious physical thrashing…
and like who really gives a shit about dwain eh ?
    she loathes him btw

  3. And the relevance of this is? Oh, perhaps a picture of the sanctimonious Vic Toews’ mistress and the child he had with her could be posted too, being that the conservatives are so “family orientated”.

  4. I had an uncle who had 7 wives. He divorced one of them after 2 weeks for burning his eggs in the morning, or so the story goes.
To have that many wives Dwain really couldn’t of been that committed to any of them; he must have been looking for his next wife while shopping for linen with his present wife. And after 4 wives the blame for the failures is clearly his.

  5. trent?
    your uncle?…he was from st.ives i’ll bet!!!….
you know…it’s small whirld and i’ve heard of him….

  6. I bet some stupid lefty will try the moral relativism to try and…..of wait, I see “T” has already posted

  7. Blocking out his wife. Nice. Reminds me of Layton swatting away that lady’s arm in that Toronto bar.
    Stay classy, lefties.

  8. Well some people are slooow learners and wife 4 hasn’t made him more charismatic or smarter. Maybe if the oil wells come in down south she can be paid well for her misery. Get him honey! You had nothing to work with.

  9. Let me say first that I have never voted NDP and I never will. I have no love for any NDP politician but I think making fun on a man because he has had 4 wives is a bit much. You don’t know what goes on in people’s personal lives. It is easy to sit back and point fingers because someone has had some misfortune. We have all had our failures. Some of them our fault and some maybe not but in the end they are always a result of some decision we thought a good decision at the time. You can point your fingers and call him a loser but there are just as many losers who stay in a bad situation because they are too chicken shit to make a change.

  10. Altaguy,
Read the link, the NDP what to focus on his personality and family life, that makes him open game.

  11. ChrisinMB; I think that was the point of his fourth time out of the gate…
#5 etc. will no doubt also be.
What I don’t get is why marry them? He is NDP after all.

  12. Remind me of the old joke about a mathematician, who dumped his wife .They’re both around fifty and they meet in a restaurant, with their 20 something paramours.
He shows off his nubile distraction.
Unimpressed she tells him, “Ha… some mathematician! Forgot that 20 goes into fifty a lot more times than fifty goes into 20…..:)

  13. Altaguy, Lingenfelter was the one to call Wall a loser first, Link is the wolf in sheep’s clothing. Lets look at the facts. Two NDP Premiers from Saskatoon Riversdale. Have the poor in Riversdale benefited form these two Premiers, Romanow and Calvert

If you follow the link to the post attributed to NDP VP Kent E. Peterson, you will notice this little gem:
“Another one features Link and Gainer the Gopher of the Saskatchewan Rough Riders.”
Now, every good Saskatchewanian knows that the Rough Riders played in Ottawa, while the Saskatchewan Roughriders play in Regina.
And they want to run our province?

  16. So it’s legal to marry a horse in Saskatchewan?
Yes, but then you can’t be cousins any more.

  17. Even politicians live in a throw away world these days.
Alexandra Kollantai, Bolshevik People’s Commissar for Social Welfare, set precedent.

  18. I wonder if Mike Iffy and former Sask. Premier, Roy Romanov are related? They both looked like they just crawled out of a coffin in Transylvania and as we all know, Kluge is not far from the Russian border.

  19. Reading the entire NDP view of Linkforther was very enlightening. Two things really stood out. First, the NDP really want portray Dwain as this folksy, down to earth, approachable fellow that visits with everyone while whistling on his way to work…I’ve seen Dwain in a Tim Hortons in Regina, he had to be the most unapproachable person I’ve ever seen. He couldn’t even fake it the way Roy did. Finally an aging construction work with a grey pony tail (seriously, do these guys realize how pathetic they look with a pony tail at their age?) started talking to Dwain and Dwain remained stiff as a board. I actually quite enjoyed watching Dwain squirm.
Second, the NDP are constantly threatening to sue for slander. They never do, although many NDP’s have been successfully sued for slander, including NDP Demi God, Tommy Douglas. Now I would just like to say to all the NDP’s out there who read SDA, give it up. NDP MLA Buckley Belanger tried to sue when he lost his eye in a bar fight with his cousin (and you idiots in the NDP put him in charge of Family Services) and not only did the case not make it past discovery, it came out that Buckley had started the fight, so take that as a lesson and just give up on all the suing threats as they are completely empty and sound pathetic.

  20. Glasnost, that’s the 1st symptom of cheap, spending freely with other peoples money.

  21. Seriously, 4 wives? Number 4 looks quite young. The only explanation must be that this guy must be wealthy….I don’t know much about Lingenfelter….

  22. Pretty pathetic to be attacking an individuals family. But given the record of the Saskatchewan party in the area of morals I can understand why they want to shift the focus away.

  23. Sad day when taxpayers are paying for Blaise a Saskatchewan party staffer to attack an individuals family.

  24. The man is truly a hypocrite. He resigns from government when Romanow was premier when things weren’t looking too good for the NDP or Saskatchewan (coincidence?) and drives west to Alberta. He worked at Nexen as a VP. He left Nexen about the same time then president Charlie Fischer resigned and Marvin Romanow (no relation to Roy apparently) was made president. Did Link see the writing on the wall? I’ll leave you to draw your own conclusion. He also saw that Sask. was doing much better and decided to head back to take credit for it. Can we keep shipping him eastward? I truly hope the people of Sask. don’t fall for his act.
