  2. Like most Albertans have been saying Red Eddy is headed for the political bone yard. He can thank making a stronger HRC as part of his ouster. Also his lolly-gagging about doing nothing while we burned. Plus his proliferate spending on big Government entitlements for himself & his cronies.
    If not for Ralph Klein ,the Tories would have been dinner a generation ago. Even back in the hay days the corruption had set in.

Traders involved in Europe’s flagship climate change programme, the Emissions Trading System – some of whom work at Germany’s biggest banks and energy firms – were the focus of a series of raids and arrests by British and German prosecutors in part of a massive pan-European crackdown on CO2-credit VAT fraud.
    On Friday (30 April), it was revealed that UK tax authorities had raided 81 different offices and homes earlier in the week, arresting 22 individuals – 13 in England and further eight in Scotland.
    The swoop, which occurred two days earlier, involved roughly 450 staff from Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs. German authorities simultaneously raided 230 premises, including the headquarters of Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and the offices of RWE, one of the largest energy firms in Europe, according to the Bloomberg news agency.
    The operation, which targetted a total of 50 companies and some 150 suspects in Europe’s biggest economy, involved around a thousand investigators from Germany.
    Authorities in eight other EU nations – Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands and Portugal, as well as Norway, outside the bloc – were approached by Frankfurt prosecutors for their help in the investigation.

  4. Rob Breckenridge on QR77 just broke the news that CBC’s The Fifth Estate will be airing an exclusive interview with convicted sex offender and alleged serial predatory pedophile Graham James.
    According to Rob the Ceeb is being coy about where the interview occurred but did intimate that it was not in Canada.

    The Canadian Human Rights Commission has a 100 percent conviction rate for hate speech cases, and rights commissions routinely make bizarre decisions upholding, for instance, the right of fast-food workers not to wash their hands. Right? Wrong. These false claims and more have been carelessly spread by Canadian news media, writes Richard Moon, Professor of Law at the University of Windsor. Too often, he argues, journalists treat alleged facts as if they were opinions, channeling them to the audience in the name of “balance” without context or verification.

    The next time you don’t provide a valid link and a reasonable description, Atric, your comment will be deleted.     Sorry bout dat, let me clarify.
    The link to the CHQR audio vault can be found on the bottom of their home page. CHQR has recently changed the audio vault so you no longer are required to register. The specific segment I mentioned above can be found around 10:54 p.m. Monday May 10th.
    They have moved Rob from the 7-9 pm slot and into the 9-11 pm position.
