  1. Barry doesn’t like folks who cling to their bibles & guns . . . Nashville is off his radar.

  2. I don’t know how you manage to find the videos you do Kate – too bad they were compelled by media neglect to make one in the first place though. They did a good job getting the point across.

  3. When those Nashvillians start a-knifin’ and a-rapin’ each other in the local sports centre, and looting, I’m blaming Obama.

  4. It’s not being reported because there’s no global warming angle…yet. That’ll come soon enough.

  5. Recently, I got back from Nashville — I was at the Music City Marathon which was halted after 3 1/2 hours due to nearby tornados, severe lightning. The logistics of pulling 32,000 people off the street due to weather was amazing to watch. I was home a few days and then heard about the flash flooding (described as one in 500 year flood)and saw many of the locations I had visited under water. My prayers go out to the people of Nashville.

  6. The question is no longer IF…..it is when and where….
A lotta folk may not wait till November…..
The incentive’s/incitements keep coming and it is beginning to develope a territorial imperitive.

  7. Well shee-oot people, its only water y’know. They’ll dry off eventually, right? Ain’t like there was Democrat voters gettin’ oil on their beach front property. That’s impo-tant, that it.
Besides, they’re all RACISTS down there anyways. Damn hillbilly white people, whinin’ alla time…

  8. The only reason I heard of it was because someone on a car forum linked a Youtube video of some kids water sking behind a SUV in a parking lot in Nashville………..
Remember all, flyover states do not exist!

  9. There are a couple of Tor Star reporters available to go down there and report on the floods as their Club Gitmo passes have been suspended… just sayin’

  10. When New Orleans flooded they seemed to notice and blame someone. Now they just don’t tell. Sad.

  11. It will be interesting to see if FEMA will send the military on door to door firearms confiscation and to rip people from the self-sufficient security of their homes for crime-ridden outdoor FEMA camps like they did in New Orleans.
As long as the state handles it they don’t have to worry about FEMA turning the place as an excuse to run a martial law occupation undrer suspension of the constitution.
Too many motivated and armed tea party constitution defenders to pull a facist stunt like the feds did in New Orleans.

  12. mikeg:
Been awake since The Klintonisas started framing good Americans.

  13. Media coverage of Nashville would only distract from the oil spill party they’re having.

  14. I must admit that a busy weekend of packing for a move in a few days has kept me away from the TV and PC, but I have been listening to the radio and also catching a bit of the boob tube late at night.
If (and I trust you all here on this one) there has been a severe lack of coverage by the MSM on this then it’s a f^&*ing disgrace. You now have to be BLACK in the US before a natural disaster affects you? What, white people swim better? People who didn’t buy into the hope, change and a unicorn in every pot don’t deserve assistance?
This is where the old saying “they got the government they deserved” does not ring true. These people are victims of a nation that were swayed by a snake oil salesman (and his media lackeys).
I really don’t have any constructive answers to this one other than donating to the Red Cross, etc, in the name of the people of Tennessee.
I, for one, will be searching for the unicorn. I want to get one for Obama. I like the horn on the unicorn and I have a perfect spot for Barry to put it.

  15. I knew about this right away simply because I listen to country music radio all the time. I guess the MSM aren’t country music fans.
I know that Nashville and surroundings were declared a national disaster a week ago which means that the Feds will be picking up the tab and that FEMA have been on the ground for quite a while assessing the damage and the cost. It’s probably billions.
I know that a whole bunch of big country stars had their homes destroyed and there could be up to 30 deaths due to the flooding and the tornados.
Also, Nashville is very rich – big money from the recording industry, etc. I like Nashville and the people are very friendly and hospitable and I hope things turn out well for Nashville.
