50 Replies to “How Many Deaths Is Walt Disney Kyoto Responsible For Worldwide?”

  1. Hanna-Barbera also has some ‘splainin’ to do. I wonder how many people have been mauled in national parks cause they figured bears behaved like Yogi and Boo Boo?

  2. How did this woman get into the polar bear pen?
People have almost a Disney-like innocence when it comes to wild animals. Tigers, wolves and bears are lovely to look at but despite what one might have seen in “The Jungle Book”, they will attack.
Doesn’t anybody go to school any more?

  3. Aww too bad, did it hurt?
Maybe next time you’ll listen to mom.
You know, these idiots deserve everything they get.

  4. Poor Polar Bear…it will take at least a six-pack of Coke to get the stupid taste out of its mouth.

  5. “The woman jumped into the enclosure during feeding time. The woman struggled while the bear was biting her, so zoo keepers held her down so that the bear could finish her off quickly.”

  6. Pardon me for asking but what is this post intended to prove…?
A nut jumps in with a bear so that means global warming’s not real…?
You people are really sucking the bottom of the barrel now!
    Desperate much?

  7. Mouth,
I don’t see a particular theme here, other than stupidity. Polar bears are large meat eaters. In the polar bear’s eyes, the lady who jumped into the pen was no different than a seal coming up for air – a breathing peace of meat.
Unless she was suicidal, she somehow didn’t realize this.

  8. Mouth,
I believe the point is that polar bears and other “cute” animals are used for marketing campaigns…including marketing campaigns in support of the AGW position. So a women who was stupid enough to forget that Polar Bears, although cute, are real animals that are carnivores and arent the cuddly things sold in WWF or Coca Cola commercials.
Shorter version, people should look past marketing campaigns and deal with the facts. Clearly this woman ignored everything else she probably had been told about bears and thought it was play time…not she is swimming toward the bear.

  9. So where did the polar bears go when there was no ice? If they are drowning now when they obviously survived a north pole that was rock they must have ‘socially evolved’ instead of evolved.

  10. Grok:
“The woman jumped into the enclosure during feeding time.”
That’s redundant. Anytime someone jumps into the polar bear enclosure, it’s feeding time.

  11. The bear was probably annoyed that she passed water in his pool…
Next, dance lessons with tigers…it should just go swimmingly!

  12. It’s people like that who keep our gene pool nice and deep. They are the most dangerous animals I’ve ever encountered and wouldn’t get within a hundred metres of one without a weapon (long barrel preferred)

  13. I’m thinking of starting cruises to Churchill Manitoba for Truly Committed enviro-weenies:
“Reduce your carbon footprint forever – please feed the bears”

  14. Polar bears are dangerous, but according to a news item I saw on TV a few weeks back, black bears are NOT, and will almost never attack humans.
So if anyone is at the zoo, with a hankerin’ to commune with the animals, jump into the black bear cage instead of the polar bear cage. You’ll be perfectly safe.
Unless, of course, those news guys were WRONG!

  15. There’s a word that best describes someone how willingly jumps into a top-of-the-heap carnivore enclosure:
    Chum

  16. re: cruises to Churchill Manitoba, there should be ample room on the front bumpers of the tundra buggies for Mouth ans his/her/its buddies.
Everyone take you cameras, ‘n color film, the fast ASA. This won’t take long…
FYI – the most dangerous critters in the Nat. Parks are the deer and elk.

  18. She’s lucky that was a zoo bear. If it had been a wild polar bear, she’d have lasted less than 10 seconds.

  19. There’s only two possible words to describe this woman, who jumped into pool seemingly to frolic with the polar bears.
Either a) she’s profoundly ignorant or b) she’s an idiot.

  20. Like that Timothy whats-his-name idiot who thought he could live with brown bears. What did she think was going to happen? They’d hug her?
To everything else on this planet with their eyes in front- we’re prey.

  21. I can’t bear to watch.
    I guess she’s bearly intelligent.
She bearly escaped with her life.
I guess she didn’t check her portfolio to see it is a bear-market.
Were she my kid she’d get smack on the bear-butt.
    Beary nice catch.

  22. Thanks Ken.
Give her a break folks; she’s not the first woman to get wet after being seduced by Beary White.

  23. She might require a bearium enema – we’re not sure yet.
Do you think she voted for Beary Obama?
My stuffed bear can barely stand it.
(guilt bandwidth $$$ for Kate: $20.00 = barely enough.)

  24. ho knows if this is propaganda, false, true, prescient or a mixture of these elements?
People can make up their own minds.
All I say is this is getting creepy.
Editors of Arab Dailies Assess: A War between Iran and the West Is Imminent
In recent articles, editors of Arab dailies assessed that a war between Iran and the West is imminent, and did not rule out the possibility that the Arabs would take part in it.

With Turkey creating a new Ottoman empire out of the old Turkish Soviet States. If Turkey supports Iran. Yup. What do you think?

  26. RD
Covertly yes, publicly probably, though I’m no expert on these things.
Part of me thinks well defined lines between friends and foes is in our best interest; therefore I expect some type of misdirection(from our foes) with the plan being: by the time they(friends) figure us out it will be too late. Also, there will likely be a Judas amongst our so called “friends” to throw a theological reference in for ya RD.( hope I used the ref correctly)
IMHO we’ve been marching towards some type of major conflict for sometime. Internet attacks from China on the USA national defence network is a good indicator.
That, and S. Colbert’s repeated warning about bears.
