  7. There is no possible way that after seven(?) days of this whole ClimateGate fiasco that the mainstream media is NOT aware of all of this. So why are they deliberately avoiding it?
    I believe it is simple at this point: They’re scared.
    The big question–possibly even bigger then the whole climategate fiasco– is why is mainstream media afraid to talk about it?
    I fear this is the tip of the iceberg. We get the answers to that question and I bet all hell really will be breaking loose.

  14. You got it, Lorenzo. The MSM have painted themselves into a corner. To get out of it, they have to admit they’ve been either complicit or bamboozled. Either way, it’s egg on their collective faces and hard to do in front of their audiences. They should take heart, though, in the fact that they hardly have an audience left. But maybe that’s the problem, too. The audience that’s left are the hardcore believers.

  15. If we ever had a chance to justify disbanding the CBC, it has now come about as Al Jazeera has been granted a licence by the CRTC….same message, wothout the need for public funding.

When the first IPCC report came out a couple of years ago saying Global Warming was real, Barb Higgins of CTV Calgary stated, for a one sided survey, “Now that Global Warming is real, how should it be treated?”. All of the responses involved some progressive affront to personal freedom of one kind or another. Do you think she and Daryl Janz might appoligise for that segment?
    Since then I refuse to watch CTV propaganda.

  20. Yeah, they won’t report on it until someone figures out how to spin it so that the narrative is not totally destroyed. Until then, it’s too dangerous to talk because the stories won’t convince even the useful idiots.

  25. While reading the comments here at SDA at 12PM today, another reader directed me to an article at CTV about Harper attending Copenhagen and how they were allowing comments. At that time there were 31 responses, 2 I think mentioned how Harper was an embarrasement for not leading the lemming charge and 29 were angry responses to Climategate.
    At 3:00PM I returned to the site and comments were closed. Now there were about 3 responses with a slight mention of Climategate. The rest were all discussing our embarrasing PM for not doing more to save us from the flood. Completely cleansed!

    The University professor has been fired supposedly because of the way he calculates scores on students tests but he happens to be a global warming DENIER…coincidence?

All day on Qr 77 we have had one scare after another, from the Queen predicting the end, or dead end which she would know about, to another clown screaming about no arctic ice to another useless idiot yodelling about no grapes in France.     I know about Vancouver but then Niagara-on-the-Lake….as well.
    AND I am one of the few down here who, when young, could name all provinces. I remember Diefenbaker for god’s sake. Did I sacrifice his name?
    YEARS ago I visited the Canadian west. So I’m a bit up on things – enough so to heed what you say and try to do what you do because you do observe not just perform as we tend to do down here.
    Everything is an excuse for a bus tour or a demonstration or a reality binge. Everyone’s got their own show. No one knows what’s going on in the outside world, really.
    AND our school is producing an entire generation of street corner dwellers. I do substitute teaching on occasion and I worry….

  40. SamHenry, if you follow the link in my comment behind the word “Vancouver”, you’ll see that the Vancouver Public Library and Simon Frazer University co-sponsored a speaking engagement by American commie, Amy Goodman, at the main branch of the library.
    Apparently she was given a bit more thorough questioning at the border by the Canadian Border Services Agency and she was aghast that she wouldn’t be allowed to enter a foreign country without having any questions asked of her.
    The fact that she would be invited to speak at the library makes me wanna puke, but the fact that she got a good grilling at the border makes up for that, even if they did ask her some silly questions. Actually, that makes it even better. They still they let her in, though.
    If I’m correct, I believe she’s from the East coast of your country, is she not?

    Because most of the media, at least here in the US, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Obama administration.
    And what’s the Obama administration keen to do? Go to Copenhagen and undermine American sovereignty and pass cap-and-tax legislation in the US. Both will give others (read: politicians) unprecedented control over the lives of American citizens.
    Say this with me, folks: It’s. All. About. Control. Repeat that until it sinks in.
    There is no better way to exercise almost total control over the American people than by passing 1) legislation that gives government control over our bodies (health care “reform”) and 2) gives government control over where we live, how we power/heat/cool our dwellings, what/when/how we drive, and if we’re allowed to travel. Short of your own thoughts (which I’m sure some politician will one day figure out how to regulate via microchip), those two pieces of legislation give the government access to your most personal, private choices.
    They are soooooo close to passing their socialist utopia schemes in the name of health care and the environment that they can taste it. They are Pavlov’s dogs, and “climate change legislation” was the dinner bell.
    Obama’s Chief of Staff, Rham Emmanuel, has said that one should never let a crisis go to waste, and they’re seeing their biggest crisis house-of-cards collapse before their very eyes.
    That’s a hard, bitter pill to swallow. They will resist it until it either dies down or they can figure out a way to minimize the impact.
    The media carried water for Obama in 2008; it will carry water for him until they drown under the flood of their own massive subjectivity and biases.

  43. The one aspect of the Hopey/Changy thing which has not arose but is expected is the 2nd amendment. It must be drenched with holy water or festooned with garlic…
    Pelossi has whinned about it but that is all.
    The demo-fascists really, really resent the 2nd amendment.
    An armed critical mass, exceeding the combined manpower of India and China’s military is a genuine sobering reality.

  47. just watched the 5th estate on 9/11. A good job was done and I think that the truthers were shown in a sceptical light. The demolition expert guy was very, very believable, Gage ,the architect and truther, much less so.

  48. Watched CBC news tonight to see if they’d report anything about Hadley CRU. Not a word, but LOTS of coverage of the Commonwealth Conference,at which PM Harper is being brought under EXTREME pressure by everyone,even Queen Elizabeth, to lead the world at Copenhagen.
    Reporter Terry Milewskie’s indignation at “those Conservatives” was painful to watch.
    They even had Maurice Strong on, explaining the carbon credits trading market. Maurice opined that there could possibly be some profiteering , but the overall GOOD far outweighs any negative effects.
    Mo had a hard time keeping a grin off his round face.
    I have the same feeling about Copenhagen now,that I did in August /08,when it became obvious that Obama was going to win the election,and right now,it looks like the AGW gangsters are about to score a major victory in Denmark.
    Brace yourselves for more “hope and change”.
