Now is the time at SDA when we juxtapose!
Carol Platt Liebau (Harvard Law Review), February 20th – “[Tom Pirelli] did most of the day to day work. Barack Obama was nowhere to be seen. Occasionally he would drop in he would talk to people, and then he’d leave again as though his very arrival had been a benediction in and of itself, but not very much got done.”
Bill Ayers, October 3rd – “Here’s what I’m going to say. This is my quote. Be sure to write it down: ‘Yes, I wrote Dreams From My Father. I ghostwrote the whole thing. I met with the president three or four times, and then I wrote the entire book.’”

Thanks OMMAG, I realized my erroneous use of ‘irony’ as soon as I posted.
It is fairly clear to me that the Weatherman terrorist was being facetious in his response to NRO. However, telling that truth in a facetious manner is a very effective method of lying.
The evidence still indicates that Ayers was the probable ghost.
speaking of all things obama, do tell, how are the sda cheer leading regulars going to blame this one on The B.O.?

they all do it ya know . . .
BINGO, Momar AND Enkidu!
I was thinking this is a bit like the liberal providing an extended sneer instead of an actual argument.
We are to take the facetious expression as proof of the ridiculousness of the claim just as we are to take the extended sneer as proof of moral righteousness.
Brent Weston has already bought up the American Thinker website. If you’re sure that Ayers was just impulsively pulling some journalist’s leg, have a look at this and related posts at AT.
Ayers might be lying, but I don’t think he’s kidding.

That’s what I posted awhile back.
Includes video of Ayers being questioned by the Washington Times about the book.
georgie girl,
Obviously that is a screw up on Bush’s watch. I am not going to make excuses for it. Your “they all do it” is pretty funny though, because just a year ago, there was this new “fiscally responsible” guy on the scene, a “lightbender”, who was going to overcome partisanship and lead us to a new world of hope and change.
Now we have a corrupt incompetent putz for president, and the stary eyed supporters are saying “they all do it”. Remember when it was a moral imperative to elect Obama. Now? Not so much.
Jeff over at Protein Wisdom has been following this story for over a year. He has a considerable volume of information that links Ayers to Obama through the writing styles. The evidence is overwhalming that at the very least Obama is a literary fraud.

overwhelming
Obama has to be the laziest President in American History.
He missed his calling as a TV host.
Because the question about who actually wrote the book is now “out there” — I think Ayers “confesses” knowing, or assuming that everyone will think he is being facetious. Clever way to toy with the journalist (did he or didn’t he) and at the same time send a signal to Obama that he wants more cash out of this. I believe he did write the book. Cashill’s evidence is fairly compelling. And — if he did not write the book — it is unlikely he would say he did — even in pretense — as that would create a big issue with Obama. You don’t say things, even in jest, when the topic involves the reputation of President of the U.S. The mention of the royalties also reveals an agenda, I think. If yes — he is treading on dangerous waters and might want to be careful.
I think Linda has a point…..Ayers is looking for cash….
Speedy and Brian Mallard are likely on target.
We may never know for sure for sure who did write OBOZO’s book…..but have copious evidence that certainly it wasn’t OBOZO. The idiom and phraseology reputedly is much different but, like speedy. I have better enterprises that to read either work.
His resume would indicate he is much too lazy to do that much work and every indication of being intellectually incompetent.
Yeah, and I wrote war and peace in two days on a vodka binge. Who do you believe these days?
I’ve been following Jack Cashill’s articles (Brent Weston has several links to these above) at American Thinker on the authorship of “Dreams from my Father” over the past several months. Cashill worked as a reviewer in a publishing business and has reviewed thousands of authors in his career. In his articles at AT he has done a literary comparison of “Dreams from my father” with Bill Ayers book “Fugitive Days” and makes a compelling case that both books are authored by the same person.
I guess Ayers should be proud of himself then, that a character in a work of fiction that he authored has been promoted to the most important job in the world, President of the United States. Ayers fellow communist travelers can only envy that achievement.
Brian,
“… at the very least Obama is a literary fraud”. Me thinks the word literary is redundant.
TOTUS for POTUS, lets start the 2012 campaign now.
The learned manner in which you folks present the evidence, bore with signal minded intensity to the heart of the issue and then form a well structured hypothesis…is nothing short of amazing
Or maybe yer all crazy as sh&t house rats?
