  2. Do none of these people have the ability to just step back for a minute and look at what they are doing? Truly despicable behavior. You would think that a friend or family member could point out how odious these actions are.
    Unless of course all their family and friends think like them.

  3. It’s one of the few things that Obama can honestly put in his resume, after all he was a community organizer. You can bet that the Lewinsky media won’t cover those kind of clips.

  11. It’s all part of a larger meme. If lefties throw temper tantrums, stones, molotov cocktails, wild-cat strikes when there’s a Republican president, the president is being “divisive”. If conservatives or independents ask non-pre-scripted questions at a town hall with their elected representative while there’s a Democrat president, the conservatives/independents are being “partisan”.

    I think part of the issue is, people on the left believe protests on the right are organized in a similar fashion. From they’re perspective it is simply “tit for tat”.

    It’s not as if leftists encourage dialog with their opponents, as looney protests seem to get the job done (that being to get on TV and, yo, REPRESENT!).

  15. What may be interesting is that the folks being conscripted to counter protest are older Liberals because this not a young person’s issue. If it were, there wouldn’t be unbroken window within a mile of the town-hall meeting. Young Socialists love the Crystal Nacht thingy … specially fast food restaurant glass … Who can explain???
    The question remains, will these gentle older liberal souls require counseling after this ordeal, or can they live with having indulged in a ‘confrontation’?

  17. Kinda reminds me of ‘Animal Farm’ where the sheep that support Napolean start bleating “Four legs good, two legs bad” whenever anyone starts questioning the tactics of their Dear Leader.
    In fact, there have been a number of things happen in Obamaland over the last few months that have reminded me of events from ‘Animal Farm’.

    They already are. I had heard about an all candidates meeting where McGuinty Liberals bussed in supporters who were allowed to dominate the meeting, monopolizing questions and basically shutting down other voices. I was utterly shocked!

  28. Linda, you should not be shocked because as Gunney said, it is ‘classic’ fascist and standard fare for the committed left.
    Ten years ago, I helped organize and anti-NDP rally in our town and 3,000 people showed up. But being somewhat naive, I actually greeted and engaged in conversation, the dozens of people who showed up an hour early to take the front row seats.
    As it turned out, the entire first three rows were NDP supporters – including union members and a cadre of $&%t-disturber/anarchists from the Student Union of the local universtiy.
    The students rushed our stage, unfurling a banner that must have been 15′ wide. I forget what it said, but it was some traditional anti-capitalist meme. Meanwhile those in the front seats all stood to face the audience and to shout down our speakers. Others attempted to disconnect the sound system and another was stopped as he attempted to pull a fire alarm.
    Meanwhile our local MLA sat smugly in in seat amongst them, afterwards claiming that he had no idea of what would take place and that indeed the behavior had been ‘provoked’ by the mom and pops in our audience.
    Only after being ripped to shreds by both local and national media did this MLA disavow the actions of his supporters.
    Saul Alinsky wrote his book many years ago, but it still provides the blueprint for socialists everywhere.
    You wait, you haven’t seen anything yet.

Received a phone call in Regina this week with an area code of 407 “wondering what we thought of Obama.” Strange why they are convassing Sask. but maybe that has something to do with the Liberals riding on the coattails of US Democrats. Too bad for them. Someone else answered the phone and hung up. Otherwise they would have heard a few comments from me.
    Just heard on Fox that “O” is making another Prime Time speech this week. Time to turn off the TV again. Far too much of him and his “commies” on the air these days.

  32. These people are trying to drown out any opposition rather than debating the issue; it is either their way or the highway. There isn’t a brain cell between the lot of them.
