In context Mr Obama is following the lessons contained in the “Rules for radicals”. These basics are working for him very well indeed. The steps he is taking and the strategies he is using are in step with the “wobblies” of the 1930’s

I’d be willing to bet the ones that got the money early are Dem freindlies, and the ones that don’t are the ones that survived the Great Republican Owned Dealership Purge by the Obama Admin earlier this year.
I find that “Cash for Clunkers” legislation so hilarious. Henry Ford had a similar program where dealers were guaranteed a minimum price for used Model Ts. The dealer got $25.00 if he sold the customer a new Model “A” that replaced the “T” in 1928. Keep in mind that a “T” sold new for under $400 US.
In 1934, my uncle bought a new Ford V-8, 2-Dr coupe. By 1937–he could no longer afford to drive it. He and my Dad decided to go look for work in the east. They drove the Ford from Saskatchewan to Montreal, where a great uncle owned a Bowser franchise and service center. Bowser manufactured gasoline pumps and filling station equipment.
Dad worked at Bowser, my uncle got a job with Singer sewing machines. The Singer corp. had a program where if you bought a new electric sewing machine, they guaranteed you $5.00 for the old hand or foot operated machine. My uncle’s job was to crush the sewing machines with a hydraulic press. Over at Bowser, a similar program was in place to get service station operator to convert from hand operated Bowsers to electric pumps. Dad’s job was to gather the pumps and destroy them.
Both the pumps and the sewing machines were to be broken up and sold for scrap. The Jewish scrap dealers however soon saw $$$$, they offered the dealers a bribe if the machines and the pumps were turned in “unscathed.” I believe Ford dealers also had a heyday, as they were supposed to destory the power train and components of the used Ts, instead, a black market for used model T parts arose.

What about the campaign workers that were shafted by the Obama campaign? They were paid with prepaid Visa cards, but unfortunately the balance on the cards often were not the agreed amount for remuneration.

With each passing day it is becoming obvious that the pronouncements of the current president of the US, that the guy is doing just that, making pronouncements.
How anything that the guy says gets done, he has got no idea whatsoever.
This happens with all the programs that he came up, none, zero, nada, worked out. As though these things get done by themselves just because he said so.
