DCCC Executive Director Brian Wolff released the following statement today on Rush Limbaugh’s outrageous comment that by the time the debate on President Obama’s health care plan is over, “it’ll be called the Ted Kennedy Memorial Health Care bill.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office sent an email to reporters at around 2:30 a.m. today, just hours after his death, calling for the passage of health care overhaul. “Ted Kennedy’s dream of quality health care for all Americans will be made real this year because of his leadership and his inspiration,” the statement read.
If the new US health bill had been the law of the land this year, would Ted have received his notice that his gig was up in May? no? ok, how about June?

Apparently Teddy was adamantly against it before he was adamantly for it. Rich lowry on Hugh hewitt yesterday did a good job outlining kennedys ability to incrementalize liberal initiatives – bit by bit legislating the US into socialism.
Teddy was a plodding, patient man who drank too much. Great if you are a socialist or a fellow lush in the senate cloakroom. Not so good if you are suffocating in an overturned partially submerged oldsmobile.

Limbaugh was skewered in the left-wing MSM when he noted that obamacare would never be passed before kennedy died; that way they could jazz it up as a memorial to him and use the sentimentality to give the thing extra legs through congress.

Say what you want about Linbaugh, but Dem modus operandi is totally transparent to him and he has been astoundingly accurate in the past “predicting” what the slimy buggers will do next.
