Police said that about 2:20 a.m., 24-year-old Maurice Schwenkler, now in custody, and an at-large accomplice took a hammer to the picture windows displaying posters touting President Barack Obama and his health care reform efforts.
Early Tuesday, Democratic Party chairwoman Pat Waak said the damage to her building in Denver’s art district was a consequence of “an effort on the other side to stir up hate.” She tempered her statement after Schwenkler’s political history was revealed.

We had a free bike program in London once. All the bikes were painted green. You could ride one where ever you wanted and leave it outside, and someone else could ride it elsewhere.
They all disappeared and were mysteriously painted other colours within 2 weeks.

Apparently this guy/girl belongs to a gay anarchist group decrying Obama’s rescinding of the “don’t ask,don’t tell” policy in reference to military recruitment and gays.
Maybe this Dem is POed that the whole ‘messiah’ thing didn’t pan out and the spin calculated to mask this radical shift to statist socialism has backfired on the Dems so badly they may never recover.
Some beltway Dem insiders are saying they will lose as many as 100 seats in 2010 because the public now associate the Dems with radical anti-American socialism. Running the US down to every fascist potentate wasn’t the sharpest PR ploy. Neither was the heavy handed Stalinist reaction to criticism of policy — or playing the race card at every opportunity to close debate.
If I had pounded the pavement and electioneered to get this Marxist Messiah installed in the White House only to see his Czars so openly blow it with public opinion, I’d smash a few windows at Dem central too.
