  1. Seen in the CBC Comments:
“Just so you know Omar Khadr is a Torontonian, born in Toronto Canada. I am not sure how much more Canadian he could possibly be.”
Well, when you figure it out, get back to us.

  2. Wonder when their eventually going to break the news to Harry that he just isn’t cut from the same cloth as the rest of them. Forget the obvious lack of Windsor facial features, he’s always shooting of at the mouth what they all think but dare not say.
A little like a homeless kitten from the wrong side of the tracks. Oh well the benefits are good I’m certain.

    WELL SAID!

  4. Section 319(1): Public Incitement of Hatred
The crime of “publicly inciting hatred” has four main elements. To contravene the Code, a person must:
    communicate statements,
    in a public place,
incite hatred against an identifiable group,
in such a way that there will likely be a breach of the peace.
Under section 319, “communicating” includes communicating by telephone, broadcasting or other audible or visible means; a “public place” is one to which the public has access by right or invitation, express or implied; and “statements” means words (spoken, written or recorded), gestures, and signs or other visible representations.
All the above elements must be proven for a court to find an accused guilty of either:
an indictable offence, for which the punishment is imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years; or
an offence punishable on summary conviction.
Section 319(2) defines the additional offence of communicating statements, other than in private conversation, that wilfully promote hatred against an identifiable group.
Section 319(3) identifies acceptable defences. Indicates that no person shall be convicted of an offence if the statements in question:
    are established to be true
were relevant to any subject of public interest, the discussion of which was for the public benefit, and if on reasonable grounds it was believed to be true
were expressed in good faith, it was attempted to establish by argument and opinion on a religious subject
were expressed in good faith, it was intended to point out, for the purpose of removal, matters tending to produce feelings of hatred toward an identifiable group in Canada

  5. The outrage over Harry’s trivially joking remarks is a case of cowards standing up to phantom enemies ~Posted by: EBD at January 12, 2009 5:04 PM
cowards standing up to phantom enemies
EBD, I hereby give you notice that I intend to plagiarize the above mentioned phrase. Thank you very much.

  6. Harry still paying the price for the NAZI uniform. And the panty waist Turdo has never been taken to task for driving around in a Brownshirt (first thugs used to back up Hitler) get-up prior to WWII. In Canada, in the streets of Montreal, on a motor bike..I am not making this up!
Turdo also was never asked to ‘splain’ why he could not get into the USA legally until he became PM. hint: it had a lot to do with his foray into Cuba supporting the Castro revolution; until things got too rough for the widdle fella and he bailed out of the island slaughter house in a boat. Apparently he was picked up by USA coast guards and deported back to Canada (something to really come down on the Yanks for ; he should have been sent back to Cuba – we would still have our Country and he (PET) would have ‘his’.)
Bit of a double standard here – PET also mocked the Queen – in her presence; when he was PM of Canada – he was long past being ‘young and stupid’ he was borderline old man (chronologically) at the time! Where were the hyper ventilators (msm), then and now – taking the past due date peter pan to task?
EBD, like glsnost, I really like your line ‘cowards standing up to phantom enemies’. May I use it too, please?

  7. A acually like Harry. He comes across as a man’s man.
It’s nice to see at least one of those two boys has some leadership ability.
As opposed to his brother who appears to have as much leadership ability as a toy poodle.

  8. Liz J:”As for Prince Harry, how come there’s always video around to pick up his private conversations?”
Prince Harry recorded the video himself. You can tell when you watch it because it’s him talking as the cam roams around. He & his Pak buddies really enjoy his home-made videos. In spite of delicate Brit sensibilities, PAK still stands for Punjab-Afghan-Kashmir-istan. Now “wog”, there’s a naughty British name, and “nig-nog”, there’s another. Goodness me, there seems to be a whole bunch of them! How ever do they keep them straight?

  9. Still. One does wonder if Diana’s sons would have developed a greater sense of connection with other people had she lived and ensured they learned more about the world than simply parrot their grandfather Philip’s bigotry.
