  1. I was with him until he evoked George Soros and called for a form of government like that which gave us Linux and then went on about the “common man” which is, typically, the guise that communism stalks its victims under shortly before it tears their throats out.

  2. That was an interesting read.
Yeah lost me on the George Soros thing as well.
Otherwise pretty resounding in it’s frankness.
Also agree with the hemp thing, hemp is a very valuable plant, it’s seeds are very nutritious – so I’ve read but my experience is, from awhile back, that they can leave little tiny burn holes on your clothes.
    ;`)

  3. so what is the deal in canada about hemp or Maryjane
the only thing I have heard is it is legal to smoke but not to buy or grow
    correct??
I do know that canadians can get it for 120 bucks an ounce(they complain on the internet)
    true??

  4. Wow, I am impressed! I really liked the part where he gives all his ill begotten gains to widows and orphans and lives a monastic life in rural Okyhomer?
    What a self-righteous little shit!

  5. obviously the man is in a rare and most enviable position.
being one of the million millionaires in USA, he can manage his wealth quite well.
and unlike movie or sport celebs with hi recognition, he can travel at will unrecognized in plain garb and take it all in. blackberry nowhere in sight.
I got all that except the millions of dollars. LOL !!!

  6. hey “em butler”……I checked with my daughter, and the going price is around $180 per ounce…..and, no, marijuana is still illegal in Canada….we just do not have jack booted fascist’s kicking in your door over a few joints like they do in the US
(their policy on marijuana is the only thing that I disagree with PMSH on…it is a travesty to stick a young person with a criminal record because of being busted for a few doobs)

  7. I wouldn’t make too much of one braggart who made it big. For anyone who has read “Fooled by Randomness”, you cannot tell if his good fortune is due to luck or skill. Since it is more likely due to luck, we can blissfully ignore his words.
A big clue is his endorsement of George Soros. When has communism produced anything other than grief and hardship?

  8. Rosco, from what I can tell of what he wrote, it took a long time and perseverance to get where he is. Even so, ad hominem is always a logical fallacy – it wouldn’t matter if the article was written by a Nobel prize winner or someone who is barely literate. Either what is said is correct or it is not.
